The wolf totally gets a bad rap in Little Red Riding Hood. There he is, eating that naughty girl up, and the huntsman barges in with his big ax. I’ll bet she loved it. I’ll bet she adored her big, bad wolf right up until she didn’t get her happy ending.
This wolf doesn’t disappoint in bed. Ever.
Everywhere else? Absolutely. I’ve got a long, colorful history of disappointing my pack mates and fellow bikers in the Breed MC. I’ve never met a rule I wouldn’t break, but now I’m ready to make up for it. I’ll atone for my crimes. Live happily ever after. If I’m lucky, I won’t even die of boredom. Being the good wolf is the least exciting gig I’ve ever had.
But after I kidnap a midwife, being good gets harder than ever. I need said midwife to nurse my Alpha’s mate through a difficult pregnancy. Kidnapping Rain was supposed to be my good deed for the day and a sure-fire way to make up for the mistakes I’ve made with my pack, but now my arms are full of sexy, smart woman and I’m totally up for a change in plans.
I want this woman. I want her to be mine. And yeah… I want to be hers.
But what’s a wolf to do when he falls in love with Little Red Riding Hood? I’m supposed to keep my hands (and all my other amazing parts) to myself because kissing the midwife is off-limits for this reformed bad boy. Or it should be. Because I’m about to be a very, very bad wolf indeed.
*** This is a full-length, standalone paranormal romance with a filthy-minded, down-and-dirty wolf shifter who doesn’t have a filter but who does possess another outsized attribute to make up for it. You don’t have to read the other Breed MC books to enjoy Fang, but you will have a whole new appreciation for what he has to atone for. ***

A pretty different feel from the author's Blue Moon series I read a few years ago. The H, 'Fang' has a lot of somewhat witty inner monologue throughout the story. Mostly crass, and in the first few pages, I almost DNFed. I won't lie... it did get on my nerves a bit. But I liked how he changed after meeting Rain and I liked her character.
Not having read any of the other books so far, I didn't find myself too lost when other characters or past events were referred too. Fang has been a difficult member of the breed MC. They are werewolves and in this world, they are secret. He's a manho and there is an explicit scene with him a club floozy in the first chapter. It was to show how little he thinks of sex and how he fulfills his 'role' as the club playboy joker. So he is unprepared on many levels to fall in love, or meet a human he wants to mate. So all this is like SOOOOOOO many other books I've read. But, there are glimpses of his childhood that were quite poignant. He wants to turn over a new leaf with his new alpha and alpha's mate. The mate is pregnant and not doing too well. So he arranges to kidnap a midwife for her. That midwife being Rain.
For all the repetitive and mostly predictable inner monologue of Fang, the story was less predictable and had a nice flow.
All in all an odd but enjoyable read.
safety is good except for the bit with the bimbo at the start
Told entirely in Fang's first-person POV, this romance is hilariously snarky while also finding a subtle way to be sweetly endearing (but don't tell Fang I said that). He's got fences to mend and new leaves to turn over, but he's also living proof that old habits are hard to break and this old dog is having a tough time learning new tricks.
"Some guys send flowers and some guys sweep you off your feet— literally. Me? I toss you over my shoulder. It’s the take-out version of a relationship."
Right from the moment she's kidnapped by Fang, Rain knows there's more to his bluster than he wants people to see. He's got her number, all right, but he wasn't the least bit prepared for the realization that she has his as well. This book can best be summed up in his heartfelt admission to her:
"I’m not a good guy, but I think you know that. What I am is your guy."
Swoon! Fang is unrepentant, unapologetic, unrelenting, unabashed, and completely unforgettable. His inner monologue is without a doubt the most fun I've ever read from a man's point of view. His unique personality comes through in each sentence, each thought, especially the ones that are briefly directed to the reader. This is not a guy you could be friends with, but he's definitely the guy you want in your bed and at your back. Rain is his perfect counterpart, a woman strong enough to stand up to him yet soft enough to be able to see through his tough exterior to the buried-deep yet still-beating heart within.
This story is a perfect example of why I will read anything this author writes. Whip-smart, scorching hot, satisfying HEA - this book has it all. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
First off, the narrator is amazing! Noah Michael Levine is my absolute favorite. Next, I enjoyed the writing itself as well. It was almost like dialogue within dialogue, which made it personable and put the reader in the moment. I also liked the characters: they were diverse and funny and you could tell one from another as well as root for them. Finally, I liked the paranormal aspect of it as well, which gave the story a realistic yet otherworldly feel.
What I didn’t like?
Imagine if you were dating or wanted to date a guy and you found out that this guy was actually a wolf. Now imagine what your response to getting this news would be. I know what mine would be. If anything, I’d need some time to process this new development in my relationship to-be. And that’s if I’m not running away. Rain, Fang’s love interest, on the other hand, just seems to accept this with no additional questions or at least nowhere near as many as one would think she would ask. I wanted to see more in that respect because anyone else would have so many questions, conditions, etc.
Overall…
Despite Rain’s lack of asking important questions or responding to certain things the way you would anticipate, I think that’s what makes her character all the more interesting. The same with Fang and all of the other Breed MC members. They are who they are because of the interesting things they do and responses they give. So, if you like paranormal romances, give this one a try. It's pretty lit.
Fang is part of the Breed Motorcycle Club and is trying to mend fences with his alpha's mate. Fang is sarcastic, crude, and completely unapologetic about who and what he is. Fang meets Rain, who is a nurse and a midwife, at a clinic while he is gathering information to help his alpha's mate, Keelie Sue, who is pregnant and very sick. Fang kidnaps Rain as a present to watch over Keelie Sue's pregnancy. Through it all, Fang and Rain hit it off with Fang posing as Rain's new boyfriend to get her stalker ex to see that it is finally over between them. I love how Rain doesn't let Fang get away with anything and learns how to trust a man again. I love how Fang grows and learns how to deal with his feelings for Rain. I really enjoyed Bad Wolf by Anne Marsh. Bad Wolf is a great book with lots of laugh out loud moments. I would recommend getting Bad Wolf and the other books in A Breed MC series by Anne Marsh. I received a ARC copy of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.
Whoa, whoa, whoa! Why have I never heard of this author before? The premise sounded interesting and figured I'd give it a go. I am so glad I did.
I received an ARC and I'm freely reviewing.
This is book 5 in a series, I had never read the others. I'm going to look into buying the rest of the series because I must. In this story, we meet Fang and Rain. This is from Fang's POV and the way he talks about himself, you feel for the guy. He's determined to do better and be better but he doesn't go about it in the conventional sense. Rain is the "good girl" who meets him and sees more in him. I laughed over parts and felt bad for Fang because everyone assumes the worst. This book was really entertaining for me. I sincerely enjoyed it. I even "ran a little late" on my lunch because I needed to finish.
Who knew Fang’s hidden depths were quite so deep? I always wonder when reading a book where we ‘live’ in the hero’s head: do guys really think like this? ‘Cause, while Fang kept me laughing my butt off with his snarky, sarcastic observations about life, the universe, and everything, he’s also crass and a confirmed player. We get some peeks at a pretty tragic childhood that I would have loved to dig deeper into. I feel like this was a bit of a missed opportunity. I adored Rain. She has such a calm equanimity even when Fang’s turning her whole world upside down. She also doesn’t let him get away with anything, which is a totally new situation for him. It was so much fun watching as Fang fell in love without even realizing it and I enjoyed seeing him grow to the point where he could recognize and express his emotions. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books.
★ Wild child of the Breed Wolf Pack MC was an entertaining read ★
—>>> Review Rating: 4.5 out of 5 stars - Committing a felony by kidnapping a human female in order to help out his alpha's pregnant mate, Fang owed one to her big time. But, somehow, pretending to be her boyfriends to scare off her clingy ex does not seem like a bad gig after all. Keeping her will definitely be a challenge and possibly the toughest thing this big bad biker ever had to do. The inner dialog from this wild child of the Breed Wolf Pack MC was an entertaining read for me, all delivered in Fang’s POV, and I am looking forward to reading stories of the other pack members, too!
I received a free copy of this book via Hidden Gems 💜💜💜 and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is Fang's story. I wasn't sure what the author was going to do with him but I was pleasantly surprised! In books 1 through 4, he comes across pretty much as a jerk. Kidnapping a midwife for his Alpha's mate, Keelie Sue, in an effort to make up for previous wrongs, becomes a turning point for him in this entertaining, sexy romance. He still might not be the sharpest tool in the shed but falling in love with Rain is the best thing that could ever happen to him. They fit together perfectly. Rain is 100% awesome and calls him on his crap. This turned out to be one of my favorite romantic pairings in the series. Anne Marsh one of my favorite authors and this series is wonderful. I love it.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Entertaining, action packed paranormal motorcycle club romance. Fang isn’t very popular with his fellow MC members. He tried to take a short cut to become President. Needless to say it went south. I’m trying to do right, sort of, he kidnapped Rain who is a midwife. I love the connection the main characters have. There is suspense, angst, violence and romance amid all of it. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Marsh.
First let me state that I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review. Also this author is new to me, but not for long.
Holy shiznet!!! I laughed so hard. Fang is a dog, and he's the first to admit it. That is up until he meets, or I should say, kidnaps Rain. But Rain is no wilting flower, she gives as good as she gets. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up
This book was a riot! Ever wanted to listen to a stream of consciousness of a werewolf biker with sever ADHD? If so, this is the bike for you. Despite the gratuitous descriptions of his own dick, I absolutely loved Fang’s growth as he figures out what feelings were and how to navigate them. I also liked the FMC in this book, and I think the story benefited from not including her POV, mostly because Fang was sol hilarious.
This book was just wonderful. The characters were good and Fang was really awesome. There was really lots of humor and laugh out loud moments. Hopefully there will be more books in this series.
Anne Marsh. You rock! Fang was laugh out loud funny and amazing and an absolute dick but I loved him. Rain was a great partner for him. I’ll be reading more of this series.
Loved Fang and his inner monologue. It was nice seeing him grow from Jase and Keely Sue's book. Opposites do attract. I have enjoyed this series and I hope it isn't over yet.
