From the moment that the Duke of Rochecliffe understood the meaning of desire, he assumed that Lady Ravenna Boscastle would be his wife. After all, she and her brothers had been Simon’s best friends for practically forever. He never dreamed that the rogues would decide he was too indecent to wed their sister.
Several years pass before he and Ravenna meet at a London ball. As scandal-prone as her notorious relatives, Ravenna is busy breaking off her engagement to another man when Simon inconveniently needs her to save his life.
Caught with the duke in a shocking encounter, Ravenna remembers she’s been warned that the boy who was once her best friend has grown up to be a naughty gentleman indeed. To stifle gossip, Ravenna agrees to marry the charismatic devil, knowing she will spend the rest of her life discovering how wicked Simon has become …
Jillian Hunter is the bestselling author of over twenty historical romances. She lives with her husband, three daughters, a pug and a poodle in Southern California. She loves anyone who can make her laugh, which means she is in love with Mike Myers and Tyler Perry.
When it comes to big families I never really read past book 1-2. I feel it really looses it's touch along the way and I also have a shit memory so I can't remember too many characters.
But surprisingly number 15 was actually quite well-written and even had a nice childhood friendship marriage of convenience trope. And while I don't actually like the childhood friend to lover trope, this was done very tastefully.
I am in love with, yet, another Boscastle story. I have never gone wrong about reading about them and this one was an added joy. Sex, sex and more sex is What I desire. To have a duke in the story, a ball, romance and SENSUOUS sex is just what I need. Lady Jillian you are in my top five authors.
A bit of mystery, some romance and some fun make up a Boscastle book. This one is missing some of the fun. Still we meet up with many of the characters from previous books. A Duke gets the bride he has always wanted and the villians get their just desserts.
Oh yes, Jillian Hunter is back! With the Boscastles, no less. I love this series and want it to go on and on......evermore. A most wonderful and very enjoyable story. Loved it! Ms. Hunter....more please! 5☆
Like with all the Boscastles, scandal and danger is always close. Many of the characters from earlier Boscastle Books reappear in this story. Ravenna and Simon, the main characters grab the reader's affection from the beginning.
I am so happy Jillian Hunter finally came out with more Boscastle family stories! This was such a great book, very fun and witty, as always. I have read the whole series and although this can definitely be read as a stand-alone, I think I’ll go back and re-read a few of my favorites. Love love love it!
July 8, 2019 --- Not in book form yet. *********** New author for me 2019. Romantic. Little erotica. Historical. sometimes a little suspense. Books 1-5 were all fast reads & great books. Rest of series was fast reads and hot books. Really enjoyed reading the series and wanting more :-)
Read in Order: YES, you need to read in order. Since all of the characters continue in all of the books since it is about the Boscastle family and all the ins and outs of their lives.
