I didn't like it
Within the first five pages, I knew I wasn't going to like this book. The writing was terrible and the characters had no chemistry. And I don't know what all the drama was about that the would find out about their relationship. The story was a bit confusing and I felt like details are missing. I had to force myself to finish it, but I skimmed through most of the book.

Logan and Nina have some wonderful chemistry and the story is fun and energized. I did really enjoy this book.

Nina and Logan are proving that giving in to what you want never felt so right. Nina has never been one to really just go for it. It’s probably how her swarmy cheating ex managed to get one over on her and now why she is looking fo start fresh. While making the move in to her new place she is offered a helping hand by her studly neighbor and she is more than happy to take him up on the offer and anything else he might dream up as well. Logan has been the best dad to his little girl since her mom decided that the Mommy track wasn’t for her. When his sexy new neighbor is more than happy to remind him that he’s a man and not just a dad he is happy to take her up on the offer. But he knows he's just not looking for one and done any more especially with his ex looming.

Meh
It was fine. Nothing noteworthy. Nothing bad. Just meh. Seemed like there was more that could have been done with the story. The Samantha thing felt a bit forced. And the whole note situation was completely anticlimactic. It was a fine story but nothing about it engrossed me. It was a fine pass the time because there is nothing else at the moment story, but there are much better out there if one is looking for something to really sink into.

Bravo Sarah! Bravo! Another great story by Sarah J. Brooks. I absolutely love her books. Not only does she know how to write sexy hot, but she gives it meaning and heart.
Nina is starting over. New apartment as a newly single lady, all in result of her ex cheating on her. He was taking advantage of her generosity. So now she is starting over, which brings her bumping into a hot sexy neighbor on the move in day.
Logan is hot sexy neighbor, who is a single dad to a beautiful and smart 10 year old. His ex Samantha cut out on them when Erin was born and has been in and out for many years after. But after 10 years of being responsible feels a bit caged. He hasn't had a date or been laid in years and when he bumps into a sexy hot new neighbor, he can't help but offer assistance.
Nina has never just gone with it. But her gut is telling her to let this man touch her, make her feel. So she makes the first move. She won't ever have to see him again right? But what happens when small worlds collide and it threatens to tear apart her friendship with her best friend?
This book was no exception to the many excellent books by Sarah J. Brooks. It has everything we come to expect from her. Hot sexy characters and an amazing relatable story. I absolutely love her books. Nina is such a sweet girl. I love how she saves the day with Erin. Logan is your typical hot as sin single daddy. He is strong, sexy and dominating. These two characters together light up the pages with their love affair. Whew!!! They are hot!!!!

Single and hunky dad, Logan, adores his 9 year old daughter, Erin and basically lives for her. Since his crazed ex-wife, Samantha gave birth and dumped them both he's been the best dad he could possibly be. But he's lonely. He hasn't dated in all those years although Ant , sibling, looks after Erin when necessary. Now Ant's BFF is Nina and she's moving into the same apartment building as Logan but Ant hasn't told either of them. Ant doesn't think they will suit each other as Logan's wary of women and Nina has always said that she didn't like children and has just got out of a bad breakup. But as she's moving in, Nina notices gorgeous Logan and he notices her and likes what he sees so he approaches and offers to help her move in. He is on the floor above and the chemistry between them is combustible! With all this sizzling between them they 'go with the flow' and have a magical passionate encounter that 'blows their minds'! But he has to leave to pick up Erin. Nina, meanwhile, thinks he's just leaving as he must be a player and using her for s@x. But as Nina comes to know Erin she realises that she actually does like children [well certainly this child] and that Logan isn't the player Ant said he used to be. Ant, on the other hand, is not best pleased that they've met and then there is more drama when the vile ex-wife makes her presence felt! What's going to happen to Erin? Will Logan and Nina have a HEA? Will Ant speak to Logan and Nina again? What's going to happen to Samantha? Written with great characters by Sarah J. Brooks who never fails to bring them to life before your very eyes as you read her stories. Believable and empathetic so that I felt compelled to carry on reading till I'd finished the story in one go. This is a must have read and, I personally think, Sarah's best book yet. I received a reader's copy of this book and voluntarily leave my honest opinion of it here.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. I really loved this book. Logan and Nina are amazing together. Their story has everything, it’s steamy, sexy, and deliciously freaking hot and you won’t be able to put this down. Nina is on her own again after finding her boyfriend with another woman, she packed up and moved out. Now all she has to do is put herself back together again, then she meets a neighbor, he’s sexy, smoking hot and offers to help her move in. You know very neighborly like, right? Conversation is good, the looks, flirting and one thing leads to another and there you have it, sex with your new neighbor the first night you move in, classic. There is just something about him that she’s attracted to and him to her. Logan is a single dad, hasn’t dated in forever and was a player back in the day, but has since settled his man whore ways. Nina has always seen herself as a person who didn’t want kids and when she starts to spend time with Erin, she begins to rethink what she wants for herself. Nina and Logan were combustible, but they are keeping a secret and we all know what happens when it comes out, that’s right, it’s not going to be good. There are obstacles to overcome, a crazy ex, but in the end, can these two rise above and make a life for themselves? I guess you have to grab it to find out what happens to these two. Such a great read, loved it, Sarah has fast become one of my favorite authors and was lucky enough to read this before it was live. This is a must read and I highly recommend this book!!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This was a very good story about Logan, a single father to 9 year old Erin and his new neighbor Nina. The day Nina moved into her new apartment, Logan stopped to help her. They then hooked up and Logan had to leave right away. Nina didn't like it, but she thought it was for the best because she just got out of a bad relationship. When Nina's best friend Ant came to help her settle in, Ant told her her brother lived in the same building. Nina figured Logan was Ant's brother and was determined to never let Ant learn she had been with him. Ant wanted to keep Logan and Nina from each other for as long as Nina knew her and they didn't want to get Ant angry. As much as Nina and Logan tried to stay away from each other, they had a connection and they continued to see each other. Nina had always said she never wanted children and Logan had Erin. When Logan's ex shows up wanting to see Erin, Logan knows she is toxic and he tries to keep her away. Nina has to decide if she really can be in a relationship with Logan when he has a child. I really liked this story and thought Logan was a great Dad. Nina just had to give herself a chance to be around Erin to get to know her. I think they were great together and made a great couple. Another great one from Sarah.

This is a great story about a single dad and the new neighbor he hooks up with who turns out to be his sisters' best friend.
I know it was unedited so overlooking those mistakes is no biggie. I felt like the whole scene between Samantha, Erin and Nina was just swept aside with no conclusion. Why didn't the cops show up at the apartment to take statements? Was Samantha arrested? I know it tells a little more in the Epilogue but I felt like there was unfinished business.
Also, does the Author know anything at all about kids? The kid is supposed to be 9-10 but during most of the story I was seeing a 5-6 year old based on what they descriptors were for her. Especially an only child. Most are more adultish than childish.
The Blurb for the book doesn't really mesh with the story. It does but it is a bit wishy washy. Some of those things happened. Also, I am not sure the Title of the book is the right Title. It wasn't a one night stand. The cover is cool except for the fact that usually when the men are all tatted up something is mentioned about it by the woman.

One Night Stand by the author Sarah J. Brooks is a contemporary love story that hits all the bells and whistles. Talk about your brazenly thank-you-for-helping-me-carry-in-boxes-let's-have-a-quicky. Which Lucas (established neighbor) and Nina (new neighbor) do. This sets up the basis for drama between her friendship with her BFF, Ant and who's also Lucas's sister. There is a child involved, a crazy ex-wife turns up and Ant has to deal with her emotions. Plus someone is leaving weird notes to Lucas at work. There's certainly plenty going on to hold interest.
I like the storyline so I recommend this book. It's a relatively short story but it's packed with a lot going on but what helps is the location pretty much stays in the apartment building. Nina was moving into her new apartment after a bad break. She never thought the gorgeous guy would help her move her things up to her apartment. Logan was instantly attracted to his stunning new neighbor and when things got heated between them it turned into a steamy night. Logan regretted that he had to go but he was a single dad and need to pick up his daughter. Nina was thinking that as usual she picked another playboy it isn't until her best friend comes over and starts talking about her brother that it even hits her. She slept with her best friend's brother. Things get tricky between them when Logan's sister finds out about them and someone from Logan's past comes back into his life. Can Logan and Nina make a go of being with each other? Will things ends between them because of the person from Logan's past?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put ti down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

But she is not looking for anything at all, but when things get heated, there is no turning back for Nina or Logan. But when Nina finds out more about Logan, will that change everything or nothing?
Logan is a single dad and works all of the time, so whenever he is needed his sister comes to take care of his daughter for him, when possible. But when he sees a beautiful woman needing his help and things get heated, he doesn't deny himself. But when he notices the time and has to leave, what impression does that leave with Nina?
This story is full of surprises, drama, love, lust, romance, acceptance and so much more. Such an amazing read of people coming together and doing better and better. I could not put this book down, what a great story!! I received an ARC of this book from the author.

Logan is a single dad to a 10 year old daughter, Erin. His ex Samantha left them when Erin was born. Logan offers to help Nina move into her apartment and she excepts. There is an instant attraction between them and it isn't long before their acting on it, like on the very night she moves in. I loved this book. Logan and Nina were off the charts hot together and their chemistry was sizzling. The book was well written and had a great storyline. It had drama, suspense, angst, a crazy ex, obstacles, passion and love. A fantastic read I highly recommend. I voluntarily received an advanced arc copy for an honest review.

I sure wish I lived in an apartment building where I can find my own hot and sexy upstairs neighbor like Logan. Nina moves to a new apartment building after breaking up with her cheating, lying, and selfish boyfriend. Logan is a single father raising his daughter Erin since she was born. Logan put aside his sleeping around with any women he could find for his daughter. When Nina and Logan bump into each other, everything that they told themselves not to do flies out the window. Nina and Logan try to hide their relationship from Ant, Nina's girlfriend who is also Logan's sister because she wouldn't approve. Loved the story line that the author wrote. People can change their opinion of what they thought they wanted to what they really want and need.

There’s some drama here that makes the storyline believable and keeps you wanting more.

I was so surprised how much I enjoyed this book. I haven't read anything by this author. And at first how was a little confused how someone can jump in the bed with another person and then pick up their daughter but everything eventually works its way out.
The ending through me for a little spin but didn't take away from the story. Good characters, nice bit of drama, and some steamy scenes made for a really good romance story.
On side note, I hope Ant Logan's sister finds her own HEA and work through some of her problems from losing their parents while young. Not going to lie thought the excerpt for one night bride was going to be her story lol.

This was a quick easy read. The main male and female characters had an immediate connection strong enough they could attain long-term happiness.The characterizations are good, well developed and evolving. The main female character seemed to undergo the most changes, even though she was a very strong woman, or maybe because she was essentially a strong woman she could handle changes. The story was well laid out and flowed smoothly from start to finish. A lovely romantic read!

This book was fantastic! I loved the characters. They aren't perfect. They have had some rough patches in life. It makes them who they are now. Logan is a single dad. Nina has a scumbag ex. They meet as she is moving into his building. Sparks fly. That is all I can say because I don't want to spoil it for you . Just know the story will suck you in and keep you turning pages because you have to see how things will play out! So worth it. A definite must read. One click yours today. I am voluntarily leaving my review after reading an advance reader copy of the book. I am looking forward to many more stories from this fabulous author. This is my second review that I am leaving for this book.

I thought this read was sweet and hot together. Logan is DIRTY and SEXY. I just wished there was more to the story. For me this was a few hours of reading and characters would summarize certain things that happened in between. I would have preferred to have read and enjoyed the moment. It had so much potential to be more. But again, it did what I believe Sarah J. Brooks set out to do. Enjoy the story, without the dragging on of the in between. I just would have enjoyed more but that is just my opinion.

I always enjoy reading Sarah's books and “One Night Stand” is no exception. This story is packed with sizzling hot sexual chemistry, drama, intrigue, twist and turns and heart. Nina is starting over after she discovers her ex cheating on her. Logan her sexy new neighbor and single dad hasn't dated in years. After Logan bumps into Nina and helps her move in, they end up in bed. Will this be just a one-night stand? Take a fun journey with Logan and Nina and watch their beautiful love story unfold. Logan and Nina met in the most surprisingly hilarious way, not realizing there had been a connection for years. Erin was an absolute sweetheart, which was a testament to who Logan let around his daughter. Ant had some valid points to a degree about not wanting Logan and Nina to meet and get involved. However, people and circumstances change and she was basing things off of things said and behavior from years gone by. In the end Samantha got what she deserved and it could've been way worse if Logan had filed all the charges.

Nina just broke it off with a boyfriend when she found him cheating on her. She was moving into a new apartment. Logan saw her carrying boxes and offered to help. Nina did something she never had, to thank him and since she found him very good looking she got down and dirty with him. Little did she know it was the brother of her best friend, Ant. Something blossoms between Nina and Logan. Logan has a past. He is a single father. Drama starts and Nina is not sure she should be in the middle. At one point Nina saves the day. Very touching and hot story. Loved it!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This book is a single dad one night stand book with a HEA ending. I absolutely love single dad books.
Logan sees Nina moving into the apartment below his and she's doing it all alone so he offers to help her with her boxes. He definitely doesn't expect to be paid for his services. Now he can't get her off his mind or the way he jumped up and left after their romp in the sheets.
This was a very good book. Sweet and sexy. Definitely a must read.

Couldn't finish
The writer had a real knack, for taking what could have been a fabulous romance, and snatching it right out of the jaws of Success.
I admittedly gave up, and deleted it at the 65%. It had all the potential in the world. It just seemed to be going nowhere, very fast. Not to mention, there appeared to be a developing Scooby Doo Mystery on the horizon (a sure romance killer for me.) It just moved along so slowly, I never had to actually endure that part. For me, this was not an enjoyable read, and one I would not recommend.

Logan became a father over night when his girlfriend abandoned them at the hospital. For nine years she was in mostly out of their lives. He met Nina on the day she was moving into the apartment building and oh boy did he welcome her to the neighborhood! Unbeknownst to the Ant his sister is Nina’s best friend and had told her all about her brother none of was in a flowering light. Now they are heading toward a relationship will it be a meaningful one or will his ex-pull the plug on it before they even get it started. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

One Night Stand is a steamy read full of drama, suspense, angst, heartache, passion and a beautiful love story. Logan is a sexy single dad to 10 year old Erin and Nina recently left a bad relationship and is Logan's new neighbor. Love the off the chart hot chemistry between Logan and Nina. The writing is good, characters are well developed and believable and the story flows smoothly. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Nina walked in on her boyfriend with another women, she left him and now she got herself a new apartment. A handsome neighbour Logan offers to help with the boxes and before they know it they are all over each other. What should have been a one night stand turns out to be so much more and when she finds out who he is everything gets so much more complicated.a great romance. It was both sweet and funny and I had a great time reading it. I loved every single minute of it
