Devi may have killed the arch-demon Lythocrax, but in the process, something much worse has been unleashed.
The Divine Agents, rogue angels, have given Devi an ultimatum: join them, or watch earth crumble to ashes. Preparing for war would be difficult enough without the nether realms getting involved, but two demonic overlords would like a piece of Devi, too. Meanwhile, her warlock partner Nikolas fights a battle of his own, for leadership over earth's warlocks.
And in the background, an old enemy might not be as dead as Devi thinks.
The celestials want her as their saviour. The demons want her dead. The rebel angels want the worlds to burn. And to save the ones she loves, Devi must make an impossible choice…
Celestial Storm is the final book in the Celestial Marked series.

I finally got to the finale of this series, and what an epic conclusion it was. Devi, now pushed between divinities and demons, and everything in between btw, is trying to stop another apocalypse, facing the ever-scheming mastermind, Lythocrax. With her allies, there should be hope, but especially now, it seems the whole Earth is doomed.. unless there is a solution that does not involve genocide. Devi, sarcastic and creative in her ways as always, causes a lot of trouble with her temper and manners around the guild, celestials, warlocks, demons, or fan-crazed vampires. However, her enthusiasm for action, unladylike behavior, and determination to get things done are the driving force of the story, just upgraded by the powers of other strong personalities on both the good and the evil side. My admiration goes to Lythocrax as well, for the masterplan he was able to come with, and his excellent guessing abilities, as well as creativity and elusiveness. This twisted view on heaven and hell has its own magic, and with the fast-paced story full of really unexpected twists, you cannot simply put the book aside. Well done.
Honestly, the first 55-60% of the book was a wash. It has a very slow build and Devi and company are running around 2 steps behind all their enemies. I felt like the last book was unnecessary and although Ms. Adams did tie up a lot of loose ends; this book could’ve easily have been tacked on to book 4 and it would’ve made each book infinitely better. Was this a solid story in the Celestial franchise? Definitely. Was this a story that needed to be told? Nope, again it felt like book 4 but instead of a celestial upgrade, they got a demon upgrade. I dunno, I just expected more. This conclusion just fell flat for me.
A freaking awesome Siri’s. And urban fantasy series where some people are picked to be Celeste you’ll’s which are divine protectors of earth. You have angels from heaven celestials on earth demons in the hell and half demon warlocks on earth is well. It is a battle of good versus evil light versus dark and sometimes it’s just gray. A great cast of characters and a very entertaining storyline. Check it out
Ah the final book at the series where an enemy or two reappear for Demi. One helps, whilst the other is intent on invading Earth. Demi and her friends fight together, showing that all types can work together, without malice, given a chance. A possible apocalytic event is being faced over the three dominions. Can Demi save the Earth? Well, you will have to read this fantastic story to answer that question.
This is the last book in the series about Devi and the Celestials. In it all of the open plot lines are closed and any unfinished business is completed. The book has a lot of action that keeps the reader on the edge of their seats.
So this was a great series with a perfect ending. Towards the end it started to get a little confusing with so many groups involved. Fantastic characters and plot.
Well done Emma. Well written, plenty of action and excitement. Kept me wondering what was going to happen at the next turn of the page. The story actually made a lot of sense, but then you never know what really happens in hell or heaven. Thankfully it was kept to five books and not dragged on forever. Although there is option for Devi and Nicholas to create or diverge on another path. Well recommended.
