An Enemies To Lovers Billionaire Romance.

Alard

This handsome, charming young man is presenting me with my own technology. It may be outdated, yes, but it's still what my R&D department is getting ready to release. How does he know?

I have to get closer to him, learn his secrets and find some way to destroy him before he does the same to me. Yet when I look into his eyes, I get a feeling that I haven't had in so many years. Can I really ruin him for what might be coincidence?

Simon

Everyone knows Alard Guth, head of Innocorp. He's one of the most creative, fascinating minds in the technology world, even if he is a corporate monster. Unlike all those other faceless creeps, I can't bring myself to dislike him. Sure, he's in it for the money but, well, everyone has to make a living, right?

No, no. I have to remember that it's their humanity that lets them get their hooks in you. But, when I see the look on his face when he gazes at me... well, would it really be so bad to let him reel me in?

This corporate romance is full of drama, daring, and deep, passionate love. Our fiery heroes are ready to show you what they're made of. This piece should only be read by those 18 years and older, or those considered adults in the reader's country of origin.

A Romantic Merger!😊

Stolen intellectual property, an innovative company and a partnership feud adds a bit of drama for the Simon & Alard romantic story. I like stories about the ins and outs of the business/techy world. I also like the MCs.
However, I thought there would more angst with the Dad regarding the May-December relationship.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the romance between Simon and Alard. Simon is a computer programmer who is working on apps for nonprofits and is looking for funding for his projects. Alard is a businessman who owns a large computer company and when they meet at a conference where people are looking for funding, Alard thinks Simon's idea is very familiar and wants to hire him right away. Simon thinks it could be a dream come true to have his funding, but he is unsure if he wants to work for Alard because he is running a for profit company. Alard knows the project Simon is working on and thinks it is too close to one of his own to be a coincidence. Alard begins to suspect someone leaked information to Simon and he wants to know who. Alard and Simon have an attraction to one another, but Alard doesn't know if he can trust Simon. When there is a past connection between them revealed, they have to see if they can be together and how to move forward with their careers. I liked this book, i liked that Simon knew how he wanted to achieve his dreams and he didn't want to change them for Alard. Alard was really a good guy who wanted to do the right thing, and he really didn't want to cause Simon to change. I thought they were really good together and i think Simon made Alard remember the way he felt when he was starting out in business and had dreams of his own. Great one.

I was given this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Simon and his roommate are looking for investors for their newest technology. When Simon meets Alard, CEO of Innocorp, he thinks he's got the money he needs and accepts his conditions, until they keep changing. Things turn more personal and Simon can't help thinking that this could be the relationship he's looked for. But Alard is suspicious of the new tech because it's eerily the same as his newest project. Throw in a dad with a secret and a bunch of feelings and you've got quite a story.

And it was. I was super intrigued by the story line. I liked the age gap because Simon seemed so mature and Alard had never enjoyed his youth like he could have while he was building his empire. It was real and hard and totally fun!

Alard is a billionaire who runs a tech company, Innocorp. Simon is a new innovative tech genius with software he is trying to get financing to get it up and running. He and his partner/best friend have deep scruples and don't want help if all the company wants is a chance to make more money. Alard is stunned when he sees the software that is identical to a secret project his company is working on. Determined to get to the bottom of this sabotage/thief he invests in Simon's software. Simon also sees Alard's teams software and thinks Alard has stolen it from he and Amalie. What is going on? Secrets, deception, two generations of anger and loss add to this story with all it's twists and turns. An excellent story that leads the reader on a path of "what the heck," into the realm of love between two lovers that are a generation apart in age. I voluntarily read and reviewed this ARC book.

Simon a nerd who designs apps for the good of mankind, not wanting to be for profit. Pitching an project to the wealthy to get it funded and not selling out.
Alerd finder and head of a for profit IT company, looking at pitches from young entrapanurse looking to invest in a great project. Recognizes the code in one as something his company is working on, offers a deal to Simon. He will figure out who stole his code.
This journey through developement, corporate vs non profit, friendship, relating hip an growth is a complex, emotional, intriguing story you won'the want to miss. It took me a couple of chapters to get into it but then I was hooked.

When Alard sees the project Simon is displaying, he sees that it is extremely similar to what his own company is working on... too similar to be coincidence, right? So he offers Simon a job to get closer and get down to the truth. But the two men start to feel an attraction and connection to each other. But can they trust each other? Especially when it turns out that Alard's ex best friend/business partner was Simon's father.

Great characters and great story. Keeps your interest.

This was a very enjoyable, complicated romance. When Alard sees a young developer showcasing technology very similar to what his company is developing he wonders how he came by it. To find out and control someone he sees as a threat, he hires him, not expecting the feelings that develop. The story is full of suspicions, mistrust, differing ideals and priorities, secrets, and an old feud. It was complex, intricate, and interesting. It kept me turning pages eager to see how these two would fall in love and work toward an HEA.

Innovative Desires was a fun read, the characters Simon and Alrad were very entertaining. The plot is about Simon a young innovative coder, he enters a competition to get funding for his project. Alred is the owner of one of the richest companies in the tech industry. When he comes upon Simon's project he is both intrigued by the project and Simon. The two begin a dance around each other that leaves them both frustrated and confused. Added to that there is hints of espionage of trust issues to make this book a interesting read.

I really liked this!

The plot was intriguing and the two characters had a chemistry that sparked! The dialogue was great and listenng to them work through their differences was a hoot, with a few groans thrown in to keep things interesting! Since one was rich, older and more experienced and the other wasn't, Simon and Alard had a relationship built on uneven footing from the beginning. Fortunately they were able to work through their differences...with some spectacular bumps along the way!

I received an ARC through BookSprouts and gave this review voluntarily.

Wow this was one roller-coaster of a ride, Alard and Simon are two very expensive characters together, which makes one hell of a story. This is definitely a must read to see for yourself.
I found myself addicted to see where we ended up, so much so I lost track of time and sleep. I am a massive fan of this author he is one of my favorites, I can't recommend his books enough, they are a must read for sure.

Stolen tech!

At an Inventors fair they meet. The rich businessman invites the entrant to join his company starting the next day. Not much time to get his head around whats being offered.
This deal means alot to the young code maker who wants to help the more poorer countries have access to technology that they wouldn't normally. This story involves a relationship between the two men slowly evolving.

I couldn't connect with either MC

I was disappointed in this book. I didn't really feel the connection between Alard and Simon, and didn't find either character to be particularly compelling. I thought that Amalie and Harry were more caricature than character. This all was disappointing because I have loved characters that both of these authors have created, but this one was just a miss for me.

Another good one

Peter Styles has the ability to write his characters so the reader feels like they are real people that are good friends. This book is no exception and I enjoyed getting to know Simon, Alard and the other characters in the book. It was a page turner from the get go. Looking forward to reading more.

Simon needs funding to get his App codes up and running. Alard believes Simon stole his computer codes so he funds his project and hires him in hope of finding out how he did it. What he didn't expect was to fall for Simon, but he is deterred by his ex best friend which also happens to be Simon's father. Will he go against the odds and try and woo Simon? Will Simon even want Alard?

This book was good but I got a bit lost with Simon's dad's involvement. Alard and Simon had a long tug of war going on, and I liked the way everyone was connected somehow. Good story with some intrigue and slow burn heat.

Innovative Desires

Interesting May/December story. The young, passionate, brilliant mind fighting the older, experienced, brilliant mind.
And love weighing in to make it all work. Win-win ^^
Fun!
