I wonder how some people get to publish books! This is a shoddy, patched up collection of extremely improbable tales that smell of unimaginative silliness. Yes, I think you can be silly and creative, but that's not the case here. If this is written to highlight a "graded" model of language for ELT purposes then it certainly fails to do the job. How would students learn the language if the stories are that boring? So, enough with this. If you want to tell a story, tell a good one or just stick to the standard course book.
