“Who the hell are you two?”

Nothing in Kyle Clady’s world is as it should be. His wife is gone. He can’t bear to set foot in his home. He’s back sitting vigil at the hospital, hoping his brother-in-law will survive the night. His head aches and his hand hurts from his confrontation with members of The Wolves motorcycle gang just hours before.

All a result of trying to unravel the path leading away from his wife’s murder. A path that has now presented him before the diminutive Fran Ogo and her granddaughter Valerie, two women with little in common beyond their shared lineage.

Together, they seem even less sure of what is going on than Kyle, the only certainty that exists being that whatever started with the death of his wife is still a long way from being completed.

I originally hail from the midwest, growing up in the heart of farm country, and still consider it, along with West Tennessee, my co-home. Between the two, I have a firm belief that football is the greatest of all past-times, sweet tea is really the only acceptable beverage for any occasion, there is not an event on earth that either gym shorts or boots can't be worn to, and that Dairy Queen is the best restaurant on the planet. Further, southern accents are a highly likeable feature on most everybody, English bulldogs sit atop the critter hierarchy, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Saturday night spent catfishing at the lake.

Since leaving the midwest I've been to college in New England, grad school in the Rockies, and lived in over a dozen different cities ranging from DC to Honolulu along the way. Each and every one of these experiences has shaped who I am at this point, a fact I hope is expressed in my writing. I have developed enormous affinity for locales and people of every size and shape, and even if I never figure out a way to properly convey them on paper, I am very much grateful for their presence in my life.

To sum it up, I asked a very good friend recently how they would describe me for something like this. Their response: "Plagued by realism and trained by experiences/education to be a pessimist, you somehow remain above all else an active dreamer." While I can't say those are the exact words I would choose, I can't say they're wrong. I travel, live in different places, try new foods, meet all kinds of different people, and above all else stay curious to a fault.

Here's hoping it continues to provide us all with some pretty good stories...

Keeps my interest going

Having now read the first 3 installments in this book I guess I'm hooked. The story and characters seem realistic and adequately developed. My problem is the length of time been installments. It's difficult to remember all the details from the previous segments. Not having them available either in book or kindle is frustrating.

Just as good as first 2

Dustin has done it again!!!Book 3 should have 10 stars. It's that good. Storyline takes up where number 2 stops and kept me interested until the end. I wanted to know what happened next but didn't want it to end. Please hurry with the fourth installment and then get started on number 5.

My Mira

I would have given you a five but you ended the story right when it was getting really good. Of course you did that on the first two books! As well. And now I can’t read the next one (Clean Slate) because Amazon does not have the book in its library. Why not.
I would really like to know what happens now but only if it truly ends.

Kyle Clady (navy SEAL) continues his search for answers as to why his wife was shot to death. As he and his friends move forward this conspiracy grows larger with no immediate answers. A gang of motorcycle thugs called the Wolves is involved and once again someone else dies. This continuing saga will make you lose sleep getting to the next chapter.

Third series in a row!

Each and every one of the series that I have read so far is riveting and intense. One of the many things that I enjoy about this author's writing is not only is the hero brought to life, but the protagonist as well. We are given insight into the minds of the primary characters fleshing them out as real people.

Better than book 2, but more editing errors, as in his other works. I'll continue to read this saga because I like Stevens' writing, but I really don't like the idea of a serial book and wished I would have discovered this series after it was complete.

Enticing!!

The My Mira story with Kyle And his friends backing him up keeps on getting better with every book. The story just keeps me wondering what is going to happen in the next book.

Closing In

Continuing the search for killers causes mental and physical pain for the former Navy Seal. Another suspense filled thriller from Kohler that most will find hard to stop reading after the first few pages. I highly recommend this author.

My Mira Saga 3

This book is so beautiful in that in this day and age it is not a given that a lifetime together really means what it says! We live, love and hope to always be with the person we love forever, but life usually has other plans for us!

Good story, but...

I kept reading because I'm invested in the outcome, but I have to ask, "Was this book edited?" Because if it was, the editor should be fired. Once again, the incorrect grammar and apparent typos were a distraction.

Loving this series!!

Love these characters & this story!! Do have to say though that if not for kindle unlimited, i would be unhappy paying for each book since the part of the story within is so short. I am really enjoying the story and each character!!

What a terrific author

I have read several books written by Dustin Stevens and every one of them has been a pleasure to read. The "My Mira" saga is as intriguing as all the others!

What a thriller!

Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, then it happened. I highly recommend this series, hoping Clean Slate will be as good!

What a third book. Kyle’s world is upside down right now. His wife is gone, his brother in law barely hanging on. Will it get better. Intriguing.

Cliffhanger

While the saga continues to unfold, the storyline grows stronger. Questions about the unknown underbelly of the situation change as each book is completed.

Book 3 of I can’t remember how many…getting frustrated, but I’m into the story now. It’s a great book, just didn’t need to be stretched out this far. Not going to give any spoilers.

Fair Trade

Interesting read, good plot , characters, and development, but the ending was weak and left much to be desired. Could not recommended.

A number of things are a fair trade but I wonder if they're worth it. I'm also wondering about somebody who is a friend. Things have become quite explosive!!
