Losing Lyric

As you grow you find yourself and life molds you into who you are. Lyric knows what she wants out of life and what she doesn’t. The life her father leads in the cold streets is not the life she wants How do you become who you want when the people who gave you life are expecting you to be someone else. Lyric never saw herself taking part in her father’s drug empire and she will do whatever is necessary to distance herself from it. Lyric faces many things as she is coming of age from love to heartbreak and when on her Journey of growing up and coming of age the things she faces in life traps her and causes her to lose herself. She realizes she has lost herself and is not the person she knows she is and she fights to get back to her true self. After you have lost yourself in others and gave up on your dreams when life has done a 360 on you how do find yourself again? How do you get back to you? After so many losses do you give up or rise above it? When Lyric experiences tragedy and is thrown in to a bad situation she never saw coming how will she get herself out of it? When everything seems to be falling apart for Lyric is it possible they could actually be falling into place.

L. Renee the Author is a Buffalo native and mother of three children, has achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a writer. After being an avid Urban Fiction reader at 32, she submitted her work and was signed to Mz. Lady P Presents in 2018. In 2022, she became an Independent author. Her debut Novel "Losing Lyric" was released in 2018 and made it to the top 20 on Amazon charts. L. Renee has been passionate about reading since she was a small child and decided to pursue writing in fourth grade. Despite facing many challenges, she has channeled her experiences into her writing and plans to continue sharing her work with the world for years to come.

Losing Lyric

Whew child losing Lyric is exactly what this story is about , I couldn’t believe after all Lyric went through to stay out the family business , is what pulled her into the family business

Twice Loved

What chance in life you can find true love 💘 twice? Young love is great, but when you have an obligation to your family, is it right for you so to deny yourself everlasting love. It was a journey, but in the end, hearts were broken and lives changed.

Intriguing

This was a great book. Lyric love story was a rollercoaster. All girls go through different phases of love. Cheyenne and styles comeback together was so sweet. I hope it’s a part 2 and they find Levi, and Jihaan actually wants to be with Lyric after so much time. I really loved this book

Great book

I knew she had a hit after I test read it but this is a good ass story she did good for her first book can't wait for part 2
