Brian: It's been three months since Adriel's half-demonic brother, Katashniel, escaped hell with his army. We managed to kill a lot of them, but so many still made it through the gate before our king could close it. I've been tasked with tracking them down and killing them which was going well until two weeks ago when things became quiet. No new demon activity, no trails, nothing. Now, I don't know what to do.
Raphael: Being in the private sector is better than the public, as I didn't have to expose myself to the humans like Brian and Andre did. But that doesn't mean I haven't felt some backlash by the fact that demons have been exposed to the world thanks to Katashniel and his army. I've been doing my part in killing those who exposed us, but lately, the demons haven't come out to play. So, now... I have to figure out what I can do to help my king defeat his brother.
Andre: It's been a rough three months and having to move in with Raphael and Brian is taking some adjustment. I still don't like that Raphael won't let me dominate him. Just doesn't seem fair that he wants to top me, but won't return the favor. I know I'd make it worth his while. On top of that, I've been up to my nipples in demon business, far more than I care for. With all the chaos that's erupted since demons have been pushed out of the closet, It's a wonder I can get any sex or sleep in at all.
Warning: This series contains strong adult content not meant for sensitive eyes. The novellas in this serial will be filled with dark, twisted, raunchy and steamy scenes between powerful, sexy men and women that will either offend you or get ya revved up. This series will not be pulling any punches, and it won’t apologize for hurting your feelings, either. You’ll find no fluff and ruffles here. These demons play hard and they fight dirty.

Three months have past from the events of season one. Adriel's half-demonic brother, Katashniel, and his demonic army are free to roam Earth. Brian and his two mates (like good knights) find and destroy loose demons.
Humans now know that demons exist and they have even started to distinguish good demons and bad demons.
First of all, I did not particularly like this time gap between season 1 and season 2. So many things have happened in these three months that are only mentioned and not described in details.
Secondly, if demons really were free to show themselves on Earth, there should have been an apocalyptic result, i.e. a dystopian life for poor humans. I would have expected brutal murders, stealings, rapes, lack of justice and the disappearance of police and government. I would have expect total chaos.
Instead Andre keeps his jobs, demons are integrated in the society and not much happen really. It is the same place with demons in it.
Other than that, Brian keeps having incredible sex with a new partner and with the blessings of the king.
I was a bit disappointed... Anyway I hope that episode two will spice up things a bit more.
The boys are back and it's time to kick some Demon ass. Chaos is an excellent word for what is going done. People have lost their minds and Demons think the world is an all you can eat smorgasbord.
Brian, Andre and Raphael are each giving a task they must complete to help their King Adriel secure the world's safety but they each have "obstacles" that will either help or hinder them. We will see how it goes. Great episode One.
I am a big fan of Nicholas Bella's writing, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the New Haven series. Unfortunately this book was just ok for me, and I don't think it's one of Bella's best works. Its definitely well written but I couldn't get invested in the story and I just didn't love it. To be fair, I've never been that into the Demon Gate series, so that could be part of it. I'd give it a 3.5 because I'll read the next book when it comes out and I recommend for people who have read the other books in the series.
An ok start to the new season. There was so much unneserary POV jumping that constantly repeated what was said in the previous POV so it felt like just recycling the same information to make the book longer (Super unnecesary). And I don't remember if in S1 the POV switched often (If at all) but here I found it jarring since Rafael (who's suposed to be cool and smooth and distinguished) had the same inner voice/train though as Brian (Who's brash, naive/uninformed and curses a lot). So that left me not loving this episode as much.
There was also a lot of telling, not showing. Unlike s1 which it felt like we were in the thick of it, s2 ep 1 feels like a giant recap of the unnecesary time jump. Like, why put the time jump at all if you're going to spend the whole book slowly filling in (repetivively in each POV) every detail that happened? I would have liked it better to read them actually fighting the deamons, the world falling into Chaos, Adriel comming out to show humans there were good deamons. That would have been a great book, picking up were we left off and experiencing the consequenses along with the team.
Instead we have a long arse chapter of Brian killing a bunch of evil humans (and showing off his newly developed ADHD? because omg focus was not the name of the game! "Oh yeah I'm going to kill this guy and eat his soul. Huh, I wonder how the president is dealing with deamons. OH look! something shiny! right, Yeah I'm going to kill this guy. I wonder why the bad guys are bad since deamons known now? Oh right! Yes! Death! This guy! Killing time! for realsies~" Literally the first 27% of the book was this...) then they go to Adriel, see a lord get made and then he goes to chicago to have sex with a vampire. (I kid you not, that's all that happens from start to finish since the rest is repeting over and over in multiple POVs in almost the same words how the 'sh1t hit the fan').
Even the smut, which is something I have always loved about Nicholas Bella's writing felt kind of meh and rushed. Needless to say this episode did not make it into my 'Yum or great story shelf' as those from S1. I will give Ep 2 a shot when it comes out to see if this was just a really bad filler/recap book. If not I'll just stick with S1 since it was amazing.
Nicholas Bella never fails to amaze me his writing just gets better with each book..I love this series and the wait was killing me but it was so worth it..Brian,Raphael and Andre are hotter then ever and I love the different POVs..New characters are introduced and boy are the intriguing..Sassy,sexy and action packed I devoured this in one sitting..Bella fans need this book.
Nicholas stepped up again and knocked it out the ball park, I've been waiting for the next book in his Demon Gate series and it was well worth the wait.
Chaos suitablly named for what is going on in the Demon Gate world, Demon exist!! omg who knew right? *winks* and because they knew chaos reigned supream and King Adriel is gaining order and stability in the mortal world. Trying to show there are "good" demons. at the same time the hunt is on full force for all that has betrayed Adriel.
In effort to gain some control the King decided on a show them what you are thing and though its a good idea not all humans are opening their arms to the demons. The other part of playing nice is not playing nice and Adriel has jobs for his Lords and Knights.
The story was just the right length and I loved meeting new characters even Oria *laughs* totally gave me the creeps but yeah loved the personality Mr Bella wrote for her. Oh and theirs a new hot Lord on the scene and made a coiuple of our known hotties a wee bit jelly . Detail mixed with some hot scenes, mixed with yeah demons! cant go wrong. Not so much a stand alone, but you're going to want to read this series from the beginning. Enjoy.
How I could missed this episode.. Where I was in september? Brian, Andre and Raphael are back and we can say it's pure Chaos (no pun intend). After the escape of Katashniel (Demon Gate #9) from hell, the humans know that demons are real, that they exist and live among them. The world is upside down, Katashniel's demons creating a world of violence and chaos. King Adriel asked some of his demons to reveal themselve to human, to show them that their not alone against those "monsters", meanwhile they need to track down Katashniel and his disciples and killed them all. I loved this book and this series. If Season one was mostly about Brian and Andre becoming Agoto and trying to deal with it and learn everything about it , here , in this episode, we're completely thrown in the story, their missions and the "new" world with demons. The book alternate between Andre, Brian and Raphael's POV, the author introduce new characters some hot other creepy. I gladly recommend this book and series.
The war is on, the Demon King Adriel and his minions are out of the closet, so to speak. The king, Brian, Andre and Raphael have been busy since the "Rising" when Katashniel and his demons came through the hell gate. The humans now know there are demons among them and they're learning not all are evil. Now Brian is teamed up with Lord Dakkar, the original vampire, and Raphael is with another Lord and they're on the hunt for Katashniel. He has to be stopped but the big question is can he and his demons be destroyed? The action is as fast as the sex is hot in this page turner by the master of demonic M/M sexy action. I love this series and can't wait to read more.
I was so happy to see Season Two of the Demon Gate series, you don't know how long I waited for this book. It was just as exciting as the other books in the series. Now I just have to wait patiently for next book, I hope it's not a long wait. Welcome back Raphael, Brian and Andre, oh I can't forget King Adriel, it so good to finally catch up on what's happening with them.
I was just in the middle of rereading the entire 1st season for the 4th time when I thought to see if there were any new installments, and boy did I get a treat! I love how everything is developing so far, what with the reveal of demons to the world, and the humans' totally plausible reaction ad well as the new dynamic of the view point if each chapter switching between the men in the triumvirate. There's so much to look forward to; I can already tell!
Lots of POV hopping in this one. While I love this series, and I love Brian and Raphael, I am just not feeling Andre. And I was very disappointed in who Adriel chose to Ascend. This entry didn't feel as linear and cohesive as previous ones. I will still of course read the next one because I am a die hard NBella fan, and I very much enjoy the Demon Gate series, but I am afraid to admit Theoden and Co will always be my favorites.
This book was absolutely wonderful, can't wait for the next book. The excitement, will keep you turning those pages. Definitely a must read, this Author is awesome, loads of drama, new sexy characters and the mysteries are really worth the reading! Many thanks, Honey Bee 🐝📚💙🎶
I love pretty much everything that I've ever read from Nicholas Bella and I was so excited to see that we have a new season of the Demon Gate books. This one picks up a few months after season one ends and we get to see our favorite Agotos triad learning more about what it means to be a demon knight.
In this season two, Brian, Raphael, Andre and all the other demons loyal to King Adriel are working double-time to try to put a stop to all of Kash’s followers and those demons who oppose King Adriel. Cannot wait to read what happens next. Brian has changed so much from the guy in book one of season one...it’s amazing.
Nicholas Bella delivered another sizzling hot read. I have Missed Brian Andre & Raphael .Hot Damn I’m in love with another demon Mr Bella introduced Dakkar is one sexy Demon. This episode was extremely hard to put down. Now o can’t wait for Fear. Love love love these hot as hell demons.
Nicholas Bella's books have always been HOT and ORGASMIC. Can't wait to read next Demon Gate.. Season one was a pants tenter O:-)
Season two started off with a Bang between Dakkar and Brian sharing a meal and going at it not and heavy. Liked Brian being a top again as well as a power bottom.
As usual Nicholas doesn't disappoint. I can't wait to read the next book. I won't go into details but for those who are looking to read this then I highly recommend you read season 1 first as this follows on after the events of the 1st season.
Fantastic continuation of the series. The relationship between Brian, Raphael and Andre is a mine field but it is growing. Loved Andre’s POV. Anxiously looking forward to more.
And the Demon Gate Series is off and running in Chaos from the first chapter. Our favorite Agato’s are serving their king and battling those who crossed over before the Gate was closed.
The sex is off the charts hot, and the new demons are creepy as fk!
If you like this type of erotica, then definitely read this! This is the series that got me started with Nicholas Bella and so far, I have not been disappointed with anything of his that I have read. Just be warned, this is hardcore and not a mild-mannered romance.
Was everything I expected was waiting for this series to start again and it was amazing . Brian and Raphael are Mt absolute favorite agato and the storyline is amazing can’t wait for the continuation
Long awaited episode but definitely worth the wait. Raphael, Brian, and Andre are getting along and have their own missions to perform for the King so I hope I won’t have to wait too long for the next episode!
Sexy, hot and funny. I really like this series. I like the character development and relationship dynamic. The plot’s interesting too.I hope there’s a lot more books in this series.
This was long overdue. It was great to see all the guys again. There's an interesting new character Dakkar. Can't wait to see how all four of they interact.
