Reid + Carrie
We left them right after Reid proposed on the way to Tokyo.
And that's where we start with this 2nd book.
They're in Tokyo for some business, but this book is mainly about how to survive their engagement with two horribly hateful fathers and a stalker business man on a dangerous revenge path.
The daddies hate each other due to someone stealing someones wife way back when. And Reid is scared that his dad might do something mega illegal. Something dangerous and or deadly even.
And Elijah - the guy who is mega mad because Reid slept with his wife? He's not at all done with our darlings either!
With the help of friends and family, Carrie and Reid have a very hard fight on their hands. To save their companies, their careers and ... their lives.
And we also have to buy a christmas tree, plan a wedding and get a cat and a dog!
Let the fun times begin! ☺

Well, another adorable & exciting story about Carrie and Reid.
I didn't get into it as fast as I wanted to. It starts a bit confusing. They talk way too much about business and their dads in the beginning. It was too much. I almost stopped reading a few times.
But it gets better. Exciting. Very sexy. Christmasy. Dangerous!
I really enjoyed reading this story ... BUT - I'm sure with a bit or rather a lot of cuts - these two books could've been made into one great book. I don't like books that are too long - too full of repetitions and redundant talk or thoughts. I really like all the people in this series and the stories too, but it's just a bit too much sometimes in Lisa's books. I love her books, but I just want to put on my editor hat and cut out so much in almost every book! ☺

All Mine is the conclusion to Reid and Carrie's story. You will want to read Book 3 of the Dirty Rich series called Dirty Rich Obsession. That is the start to Reid and Carrie.
In All Mine, Reid and Carrie are celebrating the deal that brought them together, in Japan. Their plans then turn to getting married and adopting the cat and dog they talked about. What they weren't expecting was Elijah to obsess with ruining Reid once again.
Once again, the author brings a real story, not just an extended epilogue. It gives us a chance to see the couple already together and facing problems head on. I really enjoy reading about a couple working together instead of fighting against each other. It shows what this couple is truly made of.
This series has been fun since we have several couples with their own books but still play a part in each others books. We even get the Walker brothers!

Reid & Carrie I always loved their connection and how they met, enemies to lovers. This book starts right where the last one ended Reid proposing to Carrie and their trip to Tokyo to head a mega conference center build for one of their clients Greyson Bennett.
Of course characters are thrust into action that they always have to protect their damsel which always want to be by their man side providing support and love and plenty of sex to calm the raging dark beast inside, which Carrie only submits when he is the overprotectiveness only a past can trigger.
Their fathers hate each other due to Maxwell Sr putting the moves/affair on Carrie's mother. I love that Lisa Renee Jones includes characters from her last books. Walker Security provides security for these characters in Dirty Rich series. The familiarity of Walker Security makes you enjoy book even more.

This is the second part to Carrie and Reid’s story picking up right where their first book left off. I loved this couple when I first met them and I fell even deeper in love with them here. There is plenty of drama surrounding them even as they are making plans for the rest of their life and a bit of angst in their relationship due to it. However, the angst is just enough to make their trust grow. The battle Reid had was so heartbreaking but Carrie stood beside him the whole time, even when he wanted her to go. He was all protective, which I absolutely adored, but he didn’t realize that Carrie felt the same protective instincts towards him.
The ending was pure perfection and sweet romance and holy heck it was spectacular. Definitely the kind of thing to read for the holiday if you like a bit of Christmas cheer with your drama and steam.

All Mine by Lisa Renee Jones is book 8 in the Dirty Rich series and Book 2 in the Reid & Carrie series. This continues the story of Carrie West and Reid Maxwell. Their story started in their book "Dirty Rich Obsession" which is book Three in the Dirty Rich series and the First book in the Reid & Carrie Series. Ms. Jones writing is such that you could make this a standalone book if you wish but I truly feel to fully enjoy their story and this book you should read their books together.
Their story picks up after Reid has asked Carrie to marry him. But their engagement doesn't go easy due to people wanting to tear them apart. In addition a person from the past in letting his revenge go easy. Such a exciting series. I wish these books could be turned into a TV/Netflix series. Just love this series...page turner for me.

Carrie and Reid are back to slay more dragons. This time as a team. Jones has one more hurdle in store for these battle tested lovebirds. With feuding fathers, resurrected enemies and other unknown drama headed their way, will these two fighters ever get their happily ever after? All Mine is a power ballad with a fierce delivery and a melody that just won't quit. Loved it.

When All Mine picks up, Reid has just proposed to Carrie and they're now about to take the next step in their tumultuous but exciting relationship. So what's on the agenda now? Plan a wedding. Adopt some furbabies. Get used to being together, in love, oh AND deal with their two fathers who kinda sorta hate each other and who are most likely (definitely) not going to make Carrie and Reid's relationship and upcoming wedding easy on them. Oh AND there's someone else out there unhappy with them, well, with Reid. And he is intent on making Reid pay. Will these two make it to the altar in one piece, still happily in love, about to become even happier? Or will outside forces (other people) make that impossible?
I've been soooo loving this Dirty Rich series! Each couple is really passionate, some even passionately in hate, have chemistry in spades, and have their own set of problems and issues to deal with. Carrie and Reid started off hating each other, enemies because of their dads. They've come so far in this, their next step, and I was on the edge of my seat wondering what crazy thing (person) would come at them next. There are cameos by the other couples and other characters from the series, and the story that intertwines them all keeps evolving and changing from one page to the next. I think what I love most about this author's writing is that her characters feel real. Their stories feel real, even when we're talking about multi-millionaires and billionaires. Each couple is sexy in their own way, and the love is always in the forefront once they admit (even before they admit that love). I cannot wait for whatever this author has in store for the reader next!

Reid and Carrie's relationship is full of sexual tension and lust and hatred. We pick up right where their first book ended, with a proposal.
There was so much happening at the end of the first book, so I knew that we were going to be hitting the ground running with this one.
It did take me a little while to get into this one - this is probably me and a dose of end of year blogger burnout, or if there was a bit too much going on and I just wasn't keeping up well? However I got over that pretty quickly.
I liked that yes, though there were things going on around Reid and Carrie and business, they didn't let that break them. I loved how much stronger Carrie seemed to be in this installment.
I love seeing more of Cat and Reese and Gabe in this book, and I hope to see more of them all again soon.

I’ve fallen for each couple I’ve read about in this series so far and I have to say that Carrie and Reid’s romance was just so much fun to explore further in All Mine. I love that Lisa Renee Jones really has given every couple their own challenges to face and their own unique dynamic. This was a good addition to the DRO series and the writing was sensational but it did seem like it took some time to get to the point with some of the scenes for the writing seemed alittle slower.. didn't hurt the book, for everything still was just as good as the last book. Carrie and Reid still have the chemistry and heat!!! The characters and the chemistry is on point. Look forward to reading more of them again.

Things pick up where they left of for Reid and Carrie but everything isn’t as sweet and care free them as they would wish. But Reid shows he’s not as hard and unfeeling as he first came across and shows the love he has for Carrie is unbearable and he would do any thing to protect their lives together. I loved how they fought for their company’s and their relationship, also how they defended each other. Carrie shows she has more of a backbone and stands up for her self. This was an emotional story but a tale that needed to be told. It was a phenomenal read, and very enjoyable.

All Mine is the follow on from Dirty Rich Obsession and the next step in Carrie and Reid’s life. This was a wonderful addition to the first Book. Especially Reid who really showed how loyal and how much he loved his family, and being with Carrie allowed him to express his feelings to his sister Cat, and it was a pleasure see their mended relationship.
That is all about love and his devotion to Carrie , because anyone who reads LRJ all the time knows we always have the enemies. Carrie’s father, Reid’s father is a given, but someone else climbs out the slime to ruin Reid and Maxwell Enterprises.
So, we have it all, intrigue, love, hot sex, and set in New York at Christmas. Did I say hot sex, I mean steamy hot!
A Great read to spend your christmas gift vouchers on.

Especially Reid who really showed how loyal and how much he loved his family, and being with Carrie allowed him to express his feelings to his sister Cat, and it was a pleasure see their mended relationship.
That is all about love and his devotion to Carrie , because anyone who reads LRJ all the time knows we always have the enemies. Carrie’s father, Reid’s father is a given, but someone else climbs out the slime to ruin Reid and Maxwell Enterprises.
So, we have it all, intrigue, love, hot sex, and set in New York at Christmas. Did I say hot sex, I mean steamy hot!

CONTINUING CARRIE AND REID'S STORY (begin their story in Dirty Rich Obsession)
In this lifetime there is one person who will own you, who will know you, who will understand you like no one else could possibly understand you. That person for me is Carrie.
This book two in the story of Carrie and Reed, I did enjoy it just not as much as the first one, the story line was full of drama and hot sex and the deep connection the two characters have for each other is very sweet and obvious although they did both get a little annoying at times. All over this was a good read and a great conclusion to their story.

Reid and Carrie pick up where they left off: happy, engaged, and overseeing their new deal in Japan. It seems like they’re getting their happily ever after until more drama, conflict, and surprises crop back up that hit all their own respective baggage. They argue and fight for each other as both are determined to protect each other. Reid is still a very protective, demanding, alpha male while Carrie challenges him. Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine is certainly sexy with an entertaining cast of characters from this series.

I have to say I am LOVING how Lisa Renee Jones keeps giving us more of our favorite Dirty Rich couplings with these full-length “after the HEA” stories, and DIRTY RICH OBSESSION: ALL MINE was pure BLISS! I fell so hard for Carrie and Reid in their first book, and it should come as no big surprise that my affection for them grew by leaps and bounds in this captivating follow-up!
THE STORY IN A NUTSHELL;
Without giving spoilers away, this tale picks up right where book one left off with Reid Maxwell having just proposed to the love of his life, Carrie West. Now as they celebrate their engagement, the two of them have jetted off to Japan to iron out a very important business deal and hopefully get some pre-wedding honeymooning in as well! But, unfortunately, things are hardly all champagne and roses. Shocking revelations, old family feuds and a dangerous enemy bent on revenge threatens them professionally and personally. Not only trying to tear them apart, and ruin them financially, but maybe even putting their lives in grave peril.
But of course, with a powerhouse couple like Reid and Carrie, they are armed and ready for BATTLE! They are determined to merge their companies—and their lives—and with a little help from their closest friends, they know their love can overcome anything. MY MUSINGS:
Lisa Renee Jones knocked it out of the park with this eighth riveting installment in her WILDLY ADDICTIVE Dirty Rich series! I not only got totally swept up in all of the breathtaking romance and giddy excitement of Carrie and Reid’s impending nuptials, but once again, the drama and passion totally sucked me in, and I found the blistering emotion, blazing hot interludes and edge of your seat suspense to be in perfect tandem throughout.
Just like in part one, DIRTY RICH OBSESSION, Reid is a SINFULLY SEDUCTIVE, FEROCIOUSLY PROTECTIVE, ALL-ALPHA MALE wrapped up in a debonair three-piece suit! I just loved this smart, devastatingly handsome, unapologetically dominant groom to be to pieces! I adored his dark, brooding intensity. His keen intelligence and commanding presence. How he owns every room he walks into, is a total control freak and a complete ANIMAL in the bedroom. And most of all, I adored how deeply, DESPERATELY, unequivocally he loves Carrie. He is still a bit of a dark, tortured soul with some demons that still need to be laid to rest, but sighh...he's just so overwhelmingly sexy and had me melting into a puddle!
As for Carrie, she’s as feisty as ever, but her innate kindness and her complete devotion to her work, her friends and family, and of course her beloved fiancé, truly shine through as well. And I personally found her more endearing in this book than in the first installment because she no longer questioned her true feelings toward Reid or second-guessed his loyalty. She was ALL IN throughout this story…and her huge capacity to forgive…and love just filled my heart to the brim!
One of my favorite things about these beautifully written continuing sagas is it’s so nice to see these couples, who previously had so much emotional adversary, learning from their mistakes and making the conscious decision to face their problems TOGETHER as a united front! Sure, Reid and Carrie still have their emotional upheaval and their lovers’ quarrels—which are often resolved between the sheets (hee hee)-- but their commitment to each other is so deep and profound it made my knees buckle and my heart throb wildly in my chest! Together, they make each other BETTER versions of themselves, and ultimately, isn’t that what true love is all about?
As with all of LRJ’s books, there is palpable buildup throughout, with the peril fanning the flames of Reid and Carrie’s insatiable desire. Watching them neutralize their feuding fathers and work to bring down a notorious enemy was poetry in motion, and I was so enraptured by this combustible coupling I found myself breathlessly turning the pages from the start of chapter one until the deeply satisfying denouement! We even get to celebrate Christmas with this blissfully in love duo…and their new cat and dog! Together they make the perfect little family. And I adore the cameos from the other characters from the Dirty Rich series as well as those roguishly sexy Walker brothers!
BOTTOM LINE:
DIRTY RICH OBSESSION: ALL MINE was the perfect conclusion to Carrie and Reid’s tempestuous love story! Each new installment in the Dirty Rich series leaves me totally spellbound and dying for the next one. Lisa Renee Jones has truly delivered some EPIC books to my Kindle this year, and I cannot wait to see what she will bring us in 2019!

3.75 stars - I liked it!
This book is the direct follow up to Dirty Rich Obsession and continues Reid and Carrie's story right where the first book left off. They just got engaged and are trying to wrap up the big deal they spent the first book landing so they can relax and plan the wedding, but of course old rivals can't let them just ride off into the sunset. I did appreciate that the author didn't have some miscommunication just to push the couple apart - Reid has some control issues and old demons to figure out but Carrie sticks by him. Others try to shake her faith in him but she tells them in no uncertain terms to fuck right off with that, which made me like her more. She was definitely a stronger character in this book and more of an equal to Reid.
Reid was better about sexual consent in this book, especially in a scene which slid towards bondage territory; Carrie is a bit uncertain and starts to panic when she thinks Reid has left the room while her hands are bound, but he immediately recognizes her mental state and checks on her, then tells her what he will do next and gets explicit consent to continue. He did unfortunately still use sex other times as a way to get out of his head or distract Carrie when she is trying to talk to him about an issue (usually his over-protectiveness). She did call him on it a few times but usually gave in pretty quickly because he's "basically drugging her she's so turned on". She did literally make that comparison at one point.
There was also a bit of a double standard between Reid and his rival Elijah and what they were allowed to get away with. When Elijah follows Carrie and grabs her arm at one point, it's shots fired and Reid is ready to commit murder. Carrie literally says "he even grabbed me" no less than 4 times to different people while recounting the incident. But later in two separate encounters involving Elijah's wife Tabitha, Reid grabs her arm, and implies he might have been even rougher had Carrie not been there to literally stop him and tell him to let her go. Buuuuut no one seems to think this needs addressing? *crickets*
At the end of the first book they made it seem like they both want to be child-free and just have pets. In this one they do get their cat and dog, but kinda disappointingly they also suddenly seem to change their minds and be like "she would be such a good mom", "he's so cute with the cat he'd be such a good dad!" While there is nothing wrong with changing your mind, it felt like a missed opportunity for happily ever after to look different from the cliche white picket fence and baby bump.
Also this book again has ALLLLL the sex. Like I think you can probably count on just one hand the number of times the two main characters are in a room together and DON'T have sex at least once.

Lisa Renee Jones is a master at keeping the reader's attention, and the follow-up to "Dirty Rich Obsession", titled "Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine", is no exception. As in the first part, it mixes a gripping plot with emotional depth as the focus shifts to the further development of Carrie and Reid's relationship and the obstacles that lie ahead.
For me, the most moving element of the novel was the way Carrie and Reid truly learned what it means to trust each other. They don't just form a couple, but a team in which they each make the other better and build their dreams together. Lisa Renee Jones is a masterful portrayer of how a relationship can become a truly deep, intimate and supportive bond, where each can draw strength from the other.
Although Reid proposed to Carrie at the end of the first book, the story doesn't end there. The author realistically portrays that happiness is a hard work, and that Reid and Carrie still have plenty of problems to solve. As well as external conflicts - business scandals and family drama - they also have to deal with their inner demons. Reid's dominant, protective nature sometimes creates tension between the two, as Carrie tries to hold her own. However, despite the occasional conflicts, Carrie realises that Reid's every decision is driven by his desire to support her - in both her personal and business life. This dynamic is what makes their relationship authentic and endearing.
Lisa Renee Jones doesn't let the supporting characters fade into the background in this book either, and they nearly come to life on the pages. As the story unfolds, Reid's brother Gabe, whose light-hearted, humorous style clearly hides deeper feelings, becomes more and more prominent. The author creates a palpable excitement in the reader that makes us eagerly await Gabe's story, which already promises plenty of excitement.
Another outstanding aspect of the novel is the portrayal of family and friendships. As Carrie and Reid's relationship deepens, so do the bonds of family and friends. The Maxwell brothers, their beloved ones, as well as their friends and members of Walker Security, form a large, family-like community that is not only protective but also supportive. At the same time, their father - who has had a profound impact on the lives of all three siblings - becomes an even more hated character, in perfect contrast to the ever-stronger alliance of his children.

I love that we get the continuation of Carrie and Reid's story. They started off their lives and relationship in a place of pure hatred of one another, fueled by a war between their fathers, and of course that turned into something great when they realized that they were on the same team and that their sparks were something real.
This second installment of their story takes us to Japan first where they are trying to close out the biggest deal of their careers, a buyout of a convention center. It can't go easy of course though since we know that Anthony, Carrie's brother lives in Japan and there's a bit of love lost there for all sorts of reasons. Upon touching down in Japan, we see that things are about to come to a head, and how Reid and Carrie handle it will set the tone for the rest of the story.
Add to that the fact that these two are newly engaged and few people if anyone knows which means that as soon as they do, there will be a mix of emotions, and the 'happy couple' will be put in the line of fire since neither one of their fathers will be happy with this news.
As if that wasn't enough, once they're back in NYC, a person from the first book comes back and hits at them hard, going after Carrie to get to Reid and when that doesn't work, he goes after everyone connected to Reid. If you recall, Ellijah from the first book has issue with Reid because of his wife, and then with Carrie for that same reason as well as being locked out of the Japan deal. Elijah seems to have gone off the deep end, is unstable, and as a result, in come our favs from Walker Security and we get to enjoy more of Savage and Blake again.
Roller coaster for sure since their business is being hit, and a merger may be a great saving option. their personal lives are being hit, and Carrie gets to the point where she decides that maybe it's not worth the trouble to be together and perhaps they should walk away.
If that weren't enough, Reid's darkest secret it outed and he's forced to address it, answer to it and hopefully come out the other side from it.
In typical fashion and form of our amazing author, Lisa Renee Jones takes us on a continued journey of love, passion, fear and anxiety while weaving in the story lines of the other characters that we've met along the way in the series. Fitting end
If you haven't read any of Lisa Renee Jones books, what are you waiting for, you are seriously missing out! She really knows how to do sexy romantic suspense with strong women and the caring, protective men who love them.
Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine, is part of an interconnected book world that began with the Tall Dark and Deadly series. These hot, steamy books about the Walker Brothers are what 1st drew me in and kept me there. You don't need to read anything but the previous book in this duet to enjoy the conclusion of this one but many of the characters from previous books continue their HEA's here as well as throughout the others mentioned.
Carrie West and Reid Maxwell started out as board room enemies as she tries to hold on to her fathers company as Reid, ruthless shark attorney attempts to take it over. Let's just say the fireworks were hot and spectacular...Reid is controlling and gets what he wants, whoever gets in his way, lookout, he'll take you down fast.
This book is set just after they give in to the obvious love that has captured both of them after all that drama has been conquered (has it though???) and become engaged. Now, as they try to plan for their HEA, enemies from the past , sadly and predictably, including both of their fathers who have hated each other for years, keep interfering and threatening trouble.
The book keeps you on your toes as the suspenseful, twisting plot thickens, making you wonder, who really are the bad guys?
Carrie and Reid..what a pair! I especially loved Reid's dark, dominate style, reading and anticipating Carrie's worries and making them his. Can we clone this gorgeous man? If only!

Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine is book 8 in the Dirty Rich Series and is a continuation of Carrie and Reid’s Story that begun in Dirty Rich Obsession book 3.
Reid and Carrie are engaged. All Mine is SO very very good and SO much happens! The words just keep flying by and the story moves fast! There’s romance, there’s suspense and yes there is sex! Reid goes all alpha on Carrie. He can barely keep his hands off her!
I loved that Lisa Renee Jones went back to complete Reid and Carrie’s story and not only that we still get to read more about all the other characters. Cat (Reid’s sister) is pregnant and Reese her husband. Gabe (Reid’s brother) needs a book.

Reading order: This gets messy with all the 2nd books but, I think this is pretty close. The Bastard & Princess can be read separately. I guess all can be read as standalones except for the 2nd books which are continuations of the principle story. Like I said messy but, worth it!

DIRTY RICH OBSESSION: ALL MINE is the eighth book in the Dirty Rich series. You do need to have read book three before this one… I would recommend reading the whole series to understand all of the characters and their interaction.
More Carrie and Reid! How often when I get to the end of a story, do I wish I would know what happens next for them? How often do I want to know what their happily ever after will look like? Like a fairy godmother, Lisa Renee Jones decided to give me a wish granted this time. She has done this before, and she is a pro at it. She does not give us a novel length epilogue. This is a new adventure, a new threat, and another start at happily ever after.
We are reminded that Reid had no intentions of having more than a weekend with any one woman, but when he fell for Carrie it was forever. Nobody is coming between him and his forever! Now if that isn’t enough to make you swoon, then you don’t really love romance books (IMHO).
There is a lot of swoon-worthy loving, smexy times, suspense, Christmas happiness, a loveable cat (that reminds me of Lisa Renee Jones’ own Julie), and a sweet little dog all tied up between “will you” and “I do.”
I don’t miss a Lisa Renee Jones book. As soon as one is posted for pre-order, I mark the release date on my calendar!

I don't really know why it took forever for me to finish this book. It was an amazing book just like all of Lisa's books are.
Reid and Carey really needed a HAE for their finale. Unfortunately none of the Maxwell clan can go without some sort of drama unfolding. And that's just what happens. As Reid and Carey are trying to plan their wedding and life all sorts of events take place. 1st Reid's father happens. I would like to know more about him and I think that Carey would too. She feels sad for Reid's father and how the whole family has shut him out, but he has done that deed to himself. Then there is Elijah who tries to throw a wrench into their HAE as well. Elijah's wife is causing all of the drama and trying to pin the blame on Reid. Unfortunately for her, Reid and the team of Walker men uncover the truth. Reid confronts Elijah with the information and agrees to a truce. The wife then tries to go at Reid for the money she is now out. It call comes full circle as Elijah takes control of his wife and she is no longer an issue for Carey and Reid.
Finally the days leading up the quickest wedding ever are full of bliss, love and acceptance. Carey finds the venue and dress of her dreams but is still sad that Reid's father cannot be part of the ceremony. He's just plain trouble. Carey's father agrees to a truce with Reid and walks Carey down the isle and there is nothing but magic after that. Carey and Reid finally get the happy ever after that they are both looking for. Will there be a baby in their future? I sure hope so. Maybe Lisa will give us another book with an oops baby. We shall see.

Another Phenomenal Story! This is intense, emotionally charged, adrenaline pumping, suspenseful, full of secrets, deceit, revenge and passion. Carrie and Reid’s second book is not just a continuance it is another jammed packed story that will answer all your questions and then some. Oh how I thrive on the exhilarating storyline that Lisa Renee Jones never fails to deliver. But you will need to read Dirty Rich Obsession prior to reading All Mine.
This story picks up where the last one left off. Newly engaged Carrie and Reid have a lot to deal with, starting with their feuding fathers who are not happy with their engagement. They will have a hard fight on their hands to save their companies, their careers and their lives. But these two are stronger together and with their devotion and passion they will not give up on their HEA.
One by one, problems start to surface for them and they will need honesty and trust between them to get through it all. Hidden secrets, a past indiscretion, that threaten Reid’s reputation and their relationship, a man out for revenge. Will they ever get their HEA? Reid with the help of Walker Security and his brother Gabe, will need to pull out all the stops, to get rid of everything preventing the only thing that matters, buying a Christmas tree, planning a wedding and getting a cat and a dog. Loved this! Reid is All Mine.
Dirty Rich Obsession: All Mine by Lisa Renee Jones starts off right where the first book finished, with Reid and Carrie headed for Japan. It’s full steam ahead, in both business and their relationship. The newly engaged pair have a lot to deal with and pressure from their fathers to break up don’t help.
Reid has come a long way in a short time, he’s not always the a-ho!e he’s been accused of being, even by his bride-to-be. He’ll fight hard, fast and dirty if he has to though to keep Carrie safe from any and all who threaten her and their relationship.
But, Carrie is no weeping wallflower, she’s a woman head over heels crazy in love and she’ll stand by her man with a backbone of steely determination. She’s more than ready to stand by her man and fight off the wrath of whoever comes at them. And come they do. From a hidden secret, a past indiscretion and man out for blood, as well as a father set on getting his own way, they have their hands full. But, Reid, the romantic wants to get married and he’s determined to make Carrie is wife sooner rather than later and he’s prepared to go all out make it happen.
During all this we got to visit with the rest of the West family, hear more Reese and Cat, and see Gabe in action. I wonder when he’s going to get his own book and with the mysterious redhead from Dirty Rich Obsession make and appearance or was she just a red herring?

This is the second part of Reid and Carrie's story, and it starts right where the first one ended. The events afterwards are high on adrenaline, threat and passion.
I've come to crave this author's romantic suspense stories. In particular, this series where each couple is remarkably interesting and all the characters interconnect throughout the books in a way that makes them familiar, recognisable and welcome.
Right from the start, the pace is demanding, with lots of problems raining on this couple. However, they push back just as hard with clever, bold plans and the strongest bond between them. I love the stage of their relationship, their love is tender and true and oh so passionate! Reid is battling demons of failure in a way that pours his ownership and dominance over the woman he loves. Some of their intimacy burns with intensity.
Do yo want to see this man in over-possessive, ultra-caveman mode? You can bet your eggnog you're gonna :-D Every confrontation with an enemy (they pop up like infected mushrooms) feels exhilarating. Reid is a shark and makes a fantastic team with Carrie. Sometimes he is too stubborn, but he compensates with his true and strong devotion to Carrie. So passionate and in love! What's more, I enjoyed it immensely when after all the struggles, they reap the rewards in the form of the official and beautifully romantic consummation of their love. It made my heart soar :-D

Welcome back to part two of Reid and Carrie's story. This one picks up where part one ended with a marriage proposal and a bit of suspense.
While in Japan to secure the biggest deal for both companies, things seem to change for the better personally for Reid and Carrie. But someone is out to get Reid, Carrie or both of them or maybe that someone is out to destroy Reid's company and bring him down. Either way, Reid is going to protect Carrie at all cost. But Carrie is not going to let him handle everything on his own. She is going to help because she is a strong woman and wants to protect him and keep him safe.
When they find out who is after them, Reid confronts him and they come to an arrangement once they both learn the truth. Now Reid can give Carrie the wedding she wants and he can finally make her is wife.
Carrie is surprised when Reid tells her when the wedding will be and even more surprised where it will be. She has to get everything done and with the help of Cat and a new friend, they might pull it off.
I loved everything about this story and Reid and Carrie are perfect together. All I can tell you is Read it, Enjoy it, Love it, I did. Lisa Renee Jones is a go to author for me without any questions, I know it will be an awesome story each time.
