Pensé en calificarlo con 3 estrellas por la escasez de contenido interesante, pero me decidí por 4 porque es verdad que más allá de la arquitectura y algún monumento o museo puntual, Rotterdam carece de historias detrás de sus lugares (hasta donde buenamente sé)

För en gångs skull var jag överens med Lonely Planets cityguide. Den täcker faktiskt det man behöver för ett par dagar i Rotterdam: Blaak, Markthal, design och arkitektur. Men snart får LP-författarna sluta överanvända ordet "vibrant".

Mina egna höjdpunkter bortom guiden var bl.a. att besöka Bordewijk-statyn, för den utvalda Rotterdamromanen (vilket ord!) var ju Karakter. Den alternativa cafékedjan Bagels & Beans blev också en favorit och vi gick dit inte mindre än tre ggr på fem dgr.

Det var också skönt ta direkttåget från Brexitland och känna sig som en europé.
