Maribeth Harper began as a professional writer thirty-five years ago, working in Washington, DC, for a national telecommunications publishing company. When her children were born, she focused on writing about spirituality, parenting, and marriage. She is currently the cochair of Something Greater Ministry (somethinggreater.net), for which she edits and writes. She edited for a national women’s Bible study program, Walking with Purpose (walkingwithpurpose.com), and has provided website development and consulting for a variety of mission-based clients. She spent six years working with adolescent girls in Catholic-faith-formation programs and eight years as the cochair and business manager of the largest fashion show on the East Coast—Pure Fashion—which promotes modesty among high school girls. She speaks to women at retreats and Bible studies on topics of prayer and family life. She has four grown children and three grandchildren and lives in Maryland with her husband of thirty-two years, Denis.
