Post-its and Parchment is a poetry and prose collection, made up of small messages and letters that deal with the both the yin and yang, light and dark, young and old, pieces of our soul. These are messages about the heartbreak, the healing, the loss and the act of surviving; letters that can be found either on the bathroom mirror to help encourage oneself to make it through the day, or found hidden underneath one's pillow as a reminder that you, too, will make it. This is the first set of bottled messages.
"choose the beautiful things. choose the unlovely things. because that is living. choose to live."

This entire collection is written from a place of deep conviction. Each entry is raw, personal, offering us a glimpse into the soul of the author. By allowing us to step into his shadows, his words alone make you feel seen and heard and understood. His poetry is absolutely beautiful, and I can’t recommend him highly enough!
I'm not usually a big poetry person, but I love this! The form, the imagery, all of it is surprising. It took me on an emotional journey, especially in the notes to his younger self. This book speaks to my soul, and I can't imagine anyone who can't relate. Beautiful!
Can I give this MORE than 5 stars? This collection of poetry is so beautiful. The concept of one page being a post-it note poem and the next being a letter to the authors younger self is phenomenal. As soon as I finished reading this collection I wanted to write my younger self letters. Highly recommend this book to anyone who is debating it, and I can’t wait to read W’s other collections!
I am in love with the way W. Scott writes.... Always so hopeful, such raw and beautiful words. This book is all that and much more. I am so so inspired by this book and sometimes I find myself coming back to it and opening a random page to see what message is waiting for me that day. I 100% recommend it. Wonderful work!
Beautiful messages. An amazing gift to yourself or someone you love or someone who needs some love, which is all of us. A gift to everyone. Thank you ❤️
