Ethan Donnelly was supposed to be dead. No one survives a Loup Garou bite. But to Bryna Whealan's surprise, instead of being six feet under, Ethan is now a Loup Garou himself. Which means saying goodbye, forever, to those he knew or risk exposing their secret. Ethan is thrust into the underground world of werewolves, witches, and vampires. Creatures he knew only as myth a few short weeks ago. Now his life and everything he thought he knew has been turned on its head. While visiting home to get his affairs in order, he discovers that nothing is what he thought. Will he be able to let his past go and move on to a new life with Bryna and the wolves? Or will his past threaten his future?

I liked Book Two even better than Book One! In this book, we hop from Kentucky to Montana and then back to Bryna's (and now Ethan's) home in Chicago while we learn more about Ethan's upbringing. And although the sights all look familiar to him, not everything is as it seems!
I was especially intrigued how this book took a bit of a darker turn as the conflict played out in the last half of the book. This made for a compelling plot line to bring all the new characters together to a victorious end.
And the cliffhanger! I can't wait to see what Book Three will bring. I especially hope we get to see some of The Games we keep hearing about! It's sure to be another exciting read by Malinda Andrews.
