Heiress Evangeline Emmins takes a trip on a cruise ship to Hawaii for the Christmas holidays. She wants to get away for a while. On board she meets handsome actor-singer Dustin Sinclair who is performing on the ship. Dustin is on the cruise to try to make enough money to help his sick niece get well. During the cruise Evangeline and Dustin explore the sights of Hawaii and get to know each other better...
This was a very enjoyable short story at 64 pages. Sweet and easy to read, with likable characters and lovely locations.

This is a really cute story that some of us can relate to. Evangeline's parents are no longer together and her father is with someone else, Evangeline doesn't want to spend Christmas with them this year because she isn't ready to accept this fact.
She books a holiday cruise as a getaway and runs into Dustin a former broadway actor in the cabin next door. She goes out of her room after taking a shower dressed in a towel and accidentally locks herself out of the cabin. Dustin comes to her rescue.
I wish the story would have been a little longer. But it was a cute read and certainly well worth it.

Christmas Charm beautifully kicks off this Hawaiian Holiday collection with the first of six romantic tales set on a cruise to the Hawaiian Islands. In this story, heiress Evangeline Emmins decides to take the cruise to avoid being home at Christmas with her widower father and his girlfriend. Broadway star Dustin Sinclair is aboard as one of the cruise entertainers. Despite the fact that neither is interested in any type of romantic involvement, they learn that life has other plans in store for them.
This is a novella with only eleven chapters, but it was easy for me to become involved with these two wonderful people. There is less detail about extraneous characters and events not directly related to Eva and Dustin, but that is to be expected when the focus needs to be on them. In exchange, the reader gets to know what is important in their lives.
I easily read this in one sitting and had only one regret: I was sorry to put it down and would have loved to see this written as a full-length novel, but that would not have worked for inclusion in this series.
I encourage anyone who enjoys a sweet romance to pick up a copy of this book. The remainder of the series (each book by a different author) will follow the same theme. I plan to read the others in the set and feel confident that I will enjoy them, too.

I really enjoyed this first book in the Hawaiian Holiday Series. I really liked the character of Evangeline Emmins. The book is short and sweet with a little bit of added suspense. Raine English also added some romance and a Christmas cruise to Hawaii and I was sold! You have to read this book and the series! I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

A sweet, clean, romance with a holiday cruise as the setting. Dustin is a different male lead character than I usually read. I found him sort of shady but also embraced the reason for this and his love for his family. Eva also is keeping a secret. Mistakes are made and second chances are given. A nice, quick read that has two people facing heartache finding love.

A sweet short story. Personally, I wish this had been longer so there were more details, but it was still a sweet story. Eve and Dustin are sweet together and hit it off quickly. They both have things to work through, but this story shows us love can conquer all.

Christmas Charm is the first book in the Hawaiian Holiday series and it was written by Raine English. This series is a sweet six book series linked by a unifying theme and each one is written by a different author. I really enjoyed Christmas Charm and hope to read more books in this series.
Evangeline Emmins needs a much needed break from work, to get over her nasty break-up with her boyfriend and hopefully will keep her from missing her mother too much so going on a cruise sounds perfect.
Dustin Sinclair is a huge Broadway star and is on the cruise ship trying to earn extra money to help his sister pay for his nieces's medical care, but the money isn't coming in fast enough so he does something he never thought he would ever have to do and Evangeline finds out. Will she keep his secret or not? Can he trust her?

Evangeline is struggling through the grief of losing her Mom and not wanting to spend Christmas at home without her. Dustin is struggling with his niece’s illness and trying to support his sister. When the two meet by chance on their holiday cruise, sparks fly! Their relationship is sweet with a little spice. Even though Evangeline has sworn off actors, I was happy to read that she gave Dustin a chance. In the end, Evangeline not only saves Dustin, but gives him an amazing future as well.
I loved this story. The cruise ship setting was perfect. I’ve been to Hawaii and the descriptions in the book brought me back. Even though I was surprised by Evangeline’s reaction to what Dustin did (no spoiler here), it made me appreciate Evangeline as a character – that scene could have gone in a totally different direction!

It's a refreshing & sweet Christmas story.

A wonderful debut to the Hawaiian Holiday series with a beautifully written novella by one of my favorite authors, Raine English. I loved the attraction and dynamic between cosmetic heiress Eve Emmins who decides to take a leisurely cruise to Hawaii during the holidays for some alone-time after a break-up and Dustin Sinclair, one of Broadway's biggest stars. This sweet and charming romance kept me glued to the book from the beginning and I didn't want it to end when I got to the last page. I received an advance reader copy of this book and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.

A nice short story with a Hawaiin cruise theme. A model tired of being dumped by guys who only want to further their career and a down on his luck actor/singer trying to find a backer for his Broadway show so he can help with his nieces medical bills meet. Sparks fly and love blossoms but trust will need to be established. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

What a charming short story! I read it in one setting as I did not want to put it down! The two main characters, Eve and Dustin are relatable. Poppy is a very lovable BFF. This is a sweet clean romance that I would be comfortable recommending to anyone. I received a free copy of this book and chose to write a review.

It took me no time at all to get into it, which was good because it is a quick read. Eve is tired of men and how they use her. Dustin has a secret which is actually… no, don’t worry, no spoilers! Things did go fast, but it was so lovely, sweet, and moving! Easy-to-read and well-written. Mostly light-hearted but with some very serious notes to give the story some depth.

A “Charming” Tale
I really enjoyed reading this novella. The main characters are complex and compelling. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is it ended a little too abruptly for me. This was written by one of my favorite authors & I recommend this and all of her books!

Cute short story
A lot of it was unbelievable and moved too fast which is common in a short story. Writing is good with no grammar or spelling mistakes. Just odd to go to the depths in explaining a meal and skim over other parts.
