Very enjoyable and amusing memoir by one of the Labor ministers who set Australia on to a new path of growth by opening Australia to foreign competition.He seems a likeable and genuine bloke and gives a guarded but revealing insight on the unions,Hawke and Keating and other ministers.Of interest to those who lived through those times,those who like history and politics.Well worth the effort as it’s easy going.
