A Sci-Fi alien romance with dark, BDSM elements … 3.5 stars
This is a well written, Sci-Fi alien romance novella featuring several dark, BDSM elements. The story also contains quite a few MFM erotic ménage scenes along with some drama and action. I enjoyed the imagery and the culture of the alien world of Dothkhan, with their dominant alpha males. I liked that Eve was a strong human woman and a skilled fighter pilot for the Alliance. I would have liked more resistance from her though as her submission to her captors seemed to come about rather quickly and occurred more easily than what I had expected. While the storyline was satisfactory overall, I did find it somewhat predictable at times however. I received an Advance Reader Copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love dark and steamy romances but I am sorry to say that although I completed the book, I was not a big fan of certain elements and felt that things were taken a bit too far during certain scenes - for example, grease, oil and wrenches just do not work for me. As for the story itself, apart from the few things that I didn't like, not bad. I admit that having alien appendages that can split and grow on command were interesting.
Written from a multiple pov (all main character), it is a fast read and fast-paced. This book definitely needs a warning label not for those under the age of 18.

I was introduced to this new author from a recommendation from a favorite author of mine. All I have to say is "thanks". In her first book, Ms. Black has developed a dark, exciting new world to explore. Sometimes you think that there isn't much an author can write to make aliens new....well, certain body parts splitting into two is something new! Loved it!! If future books are anything like this wonderful start, I can't wait to read more.

This was delightfully dark and sexy as hell. I LOVED reading this, the aliens and the tricks they can do with their bodies and the twisted traditions they have. The war and conflict they are going through in the midst of it all. Eve is an extremely resilient character and she is stronger than I initially imagined. The large amount of sexual acts in this book had me hot and bothered throughout this quick read, I very much look forward to reading the next installment, if they are anything like this one I will not be disappointed!

Eve knows the state of the Universe she lives in, and her role in it... Right up until she is shot down by the enemy in a fire fight -- after which things don't happen as advertised.
This is definitely on the dark end of the spectrum, full of surprises, and unexpected twists. There are some things early in the story that seem to fall by the wayside... not sure why.
This is a so!I'd stand alone done in one quick read, that introduces a character who heads off on his own adventure.

Decent but...
This book was interesting from page one but then it went wonky pretty quickly.
I had a hard time seeing the romantic connection between the guys and Eve. The author did a lot of telling instead of showing so I always felt like there were things I was missing. It wasn't believable to me, the switch from semi sadistic to devoted and loving was dizzying because there was no onscreen evolution so it wasn't really a cohesive story.

Slave is a well written alien romance with multiple partners and extremely 🔥🔥hot🔥🔥BDSM scenes. This one certainly grabs your attention and keeps you flipping those pages! I look forward to the next book in this exciting new series. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and found it really interesting.)

When Eve crash landed on Dothkhan plant who are enemies of Earth she is captured and enslaved and put on display for the citizens of Dothkhan. When she is bought by 2 very dominant men, Stratus and Tyrus she quickly learns who her masters are. This is a very sexual and explicit book but i loved it, i found it hot and enjoyed the story line.

It got really, really weird at the end
It was fine until the last couple of chapters where the depravity just became too much. Well into, “yuck” territory.

Well I can definitely say that Dark part of the description is definitely accurate for this book so do not read it if you have triggers but if that does not bother you then give it try. The female lead is crashed and taken hostage by what she was taught is the enemy. Two of them by her as their slave and what follows is the dark BDSM type alien science fiction stuff that is expected (with a few surprises of course). The premise of the story is good and the world building that exists is quite good. My only real issue is that is seems to be one giant intimate scene after another when I was really wanting a little more substance in between rounds. I liked it so I can give it 3/5 stars but I hope for more in future works.
