Die together or die alone.

At the brink of war, Osprey Point might first collapse from within as the final wave of the z-virus sweeps through the community.

While Audra resolves to upend Lysent corp without the aid of others, Lysent singles her out too. They target her forgotten zombie tags for collection. People she found and did not help.

Audra must face long-standing mistakes and gather her shattered community for a final move – one that will prevent humanity’s fall or accelerate it toward extinction.

A gripping dystopian, Chasing Extinction is the final book in the world of zombies, epidemics, and corporate greed.

About the author

R.M. Hamrick

Despite not completing algebra in high school, R.M. Hamrick escaped Georgia Tech with a degree in Biomedical Engineering.

She uses this combination of science and doggedness to inject a dose of plausibility into the zombie-filled Chasing trilogy. She ignores most of that science in the wacky, all-female cast space opera, Atalan Adventures.

She and her tortoise moved to Lakeland FL in 2022, which is home to Publix and a cute boyfriend. There, she gained cats and a balcony on which to write. Corey, the tortoise, is single and likes pacing, stomping, and tomatoes. Hamrick writes full-time with the help of patrons and readers, like you.

Oh my goodness!

The things people with power will do to stay in power. Good LAWDY! It's good there are people like Audra and her crew there to kick their arse... or toss'em off a rooftop. Heheh. This was a pretty good finale.

The conclusion to RM Hamrick's Chasing Trilogy is all-out action. Good versus evil. Human versus unnatural abomination.

But more than that, Chasing Extinction is a study on the human response when faced with a second apocalypse and next to zero odds of survival. When everyone a person knows and loves is about to die (or worse), what are their choices.

Hamrick's survivors deal with this threat of human extinction in her/his own way - some heartbreaking, some uplifting - all while hurtling toward a climax befitting everything they've been put through.

Excellent end to an excellent story!
