This is a highly satisfying addition to the series, offering long-awaited answers about the enigmatic Kenneth, one of the missing MacGregors. This installment primarily follows Euann's journey, delivering an engaging blend of mystery, humor, and romance that kept me thoroughly entertained. The revelations about Kenneth's character provide a much-needed depth to the ongoing story arc, offering a sense of closure that fans of the series will greatly appreciate. As the narrative centers around Euann, the focus on his story brings a new dimension to the MacGregor family dynamics, adding layers of complexity and intrigue.

The narration by Michael Ferraiuolo is a standout feature of the audiobook. His skillful narration effortlessly brings the characters and their emotions to life, ensuring a thoroughly engaging experience. Ferraiuolo's performance perfectly complements the humor and romance of the story, enhancing the overall enjoyment.

I'd recommend this book to anyone that is seeking a mix of mystery, magic, humor, and romance.

This is Euann's story and it is just as perfect as the others. I love how the magic and new characters in each book are different and intriguing. This one is a bit funnier than the last which is appropriate for Euann. Of course there are all the usually family and neighbours as well as a whole group of new characters. Highly recommended.

Organized Chaos . . .

Scottish Warlock Euann MacGregor sees the happiness that his brothers share with their wives, and he secretly wants a mate for himself. (I don’t think I can say that he is ready to “settle” down, but he is ready to share his love with a special someone.)

There is a mystery to be worked out. But Euann is having strong feelings for a strange child’s adult companion. Is she a wood nymph? Will Cora accept him into her life? Who is this powerful child, Jewel, and where does she belong? Can Euann keep them out of danger?

There is always fun and surprises with these MacGregor books and this one is no exception. Grab y our copy and join the mayhem!

The MacGregor Clan is at it again! This time trouble seems to have been brought to them.

Possible SPOILERS

Euann's brother Kenneth has been missing for 25 yrs and no one can find him even though the whole family is full of warlocks.
Cora is on an interesting trip with a strange little girl named Jewel she met in Oklahoma and somehow Jewel convinced Cora to drive to Wisconsin..where they have found safety and new friends in the MacGregor family.
Kenneth has shown up at his family's house to collect + protect his daughter Jewel at all costs even if that means he has to leave again but Cora has spent so much time with Jewel she needs protection too because Cora is not acting right....
Euann will protect Cora at all costs because she is someone/something special especially to him!
Someone is coming but who are they after and why??

Just … WOW!

I've now listened to or read several books in this series—though I've missed a few, something I should remedy ASAP!—and while I've enjoyed every one, this book has got to be the best yet. It blew me away, as I could see and hear what was happening so vividly in my mind. I actually wish this was being made into a series or movie … yes, it's that good. This series' installment brought in a whole new concept, that of a phoenix in the form of a young girl with incredible magical powers. Yet, she still has the sensibilities of a child, so she doesn't quite realize the effects she has on others when she uses her magic to manipulate them. She sees it as playing … LOL! The first scene where she does so literally had me laughing out loud, but then you start to understand the seriousness of it—although it is certainly still amusing occasionally. (Loved her interactions with the loony uncle!) This book also sees the return of the lost son we've heard mentioned throughout the series, and his return is nothing like I imagined. I'm a voracious reader, and I love to be surprised. This book did so multiple times in multiple ways. There's also a fantastic love story at the core of this, too, and the hero was so incredibly sweet and protective of the heroine who had no clue what she was getting involved with. The scene where we first meet her is a bit confusing, but it soon becomes clear what she was grappling with at the time. As in every single one of these books, the interaction between the Scottish warlock brothers and cousins makes this a sheer pleasure to listen to, especially since the narrator does a fantastic job giving these characters very yummy hot Scot accents! While this book probably could be understood as a standalone, you will certainly better appreciate it if you start the series from the beginning. This world is so complex and magical, wonderfully so, and with such strong characters bound in an intense yet believable family dynamic. Both this book and this series: highly recommended!

I received a promo code for this audiobook, but that did not affect my review.

The Lunatic Scottish Warlocks are back! I can say this in all certainty as I am one - A Scot that is not a Warlock!)

Euann came close to a HEA but the girl ran away with his brother! He misses his brother Kenneth, on what would be his birthday, and when strolling around the grounds comes across a lovely lass, who seems to be corralling a herd of cats in the shape of one small child! but said child is not all that she appears and she LOVES getting adults to play with her!

Cora never thought agreeing to play a game with a small, seemingly lost child would lead her over state lines, leaving her job behind. But when she inadvertently sucks a hunk of Scottish Manliness into the weirdness that now seems to be her life, she wonders if she has an ally or just another victim to the madness.

Lets just say a certain wily, slightly cracked uncle seems to have met his match in one incorrigible child! Raibert is in his element! Euann and Cora are a good match and she just seems to accept a certain level of nutcase with ease. With an almighty "WTF" moment, this is another great book in this series. Whilst the lingo screws with my melon slightly cos most times the family comes off a bit comedy Irish not Scots, but allowances are made for the fact that they have lived a long-ass time and they were originally supposed to be from the Highlands, so their accent could be all over the place.

One bugbear is them keep saying "brit" instead of English! I'm as patriotic as the next Scot but even I class myself as British, if you want to annoy me, you call me English! LOL

At turns heart-breaking, lunacy, spicy and always well crafted.

Kisses and Curses is another fun, and funny, Warlocks MacGregor read. Despite only having read a couple of the books from this series, I had no problem understanding what was going on and enjoying the tale, though I do think some elements were definitely improved by my having some previous experience in the MacGregor world. The story itself is about a woman pulled unknowingly into the magical MacGregor world—and all that means—who finds not only much-needed rescue, but love along the way. Her relationship with Euann is gradual and very believable, and I loved watching her find her place in Euann’s heart, and in the overall family. Of course the hijinks among the various family members are some of the highlights of the story, but even when they’re squabbling, the MacGregors are exemplars of family loyalty, and this is again demonstrated in Kisses and Curses. Now, this story also contains a very high-maintenance little girl, which may intrigue some readers but not be what others are looking for. She’s cute, very lovable, and just the right amount of scary. The story is both a thrilling adventure and a humorous family escapade, with just the right emphasis on the heart-felt romance that a paranormal romance reader is looking for. Kisses and Curses is another entry in a delightful series that both captures the heart and leaves you laughing.

Hilarious, swoony and heartwarming

I enjoyed Euann and Cora’s opposites attract, fish out of water, family mystery romantic suspense tale. This is a heartwarming, hilarious and steamy romance full of lovable characters with a just a touch of angst and mystery. Euann is a warlock whose large clan family recently moved to the small town of Green Vallis. He is feeling a bit untethered because the other men in his family have recently starting pairing off with their soulmates. Cora is a human who is being controlled by a strong magical child, Jewel, which is how she ends up in Green Vallis and how she meets Euann and his family. There is instant attraction and connection between Euann and Cora but things are complicated. Is the connection real or magic and what is going on with Jewel and Euann’s long lost brother. To get to their HEA, Euann and Cora will have to deal with an evil witches, protect the family, and help unpack some family baggage. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters, and an engaging storyline as shown through mystery, sweet moments, steam, laughs, messy families, painful pasts, surprises, magic, and all the love. I love the insanity and strong emotions that characterize the MacGregor family and am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Well we're back in Green Vallis, Wi. where there are all sorts of interesting goings of magic and mayhem with the MacGregor clan. This series Euann who is in charge of security for the family estate and his brothers are all kinds of bored and missing their brother Kenneth who disappeared twenty five years ago without a word, every year their parents go back to the last place he was known to have been seen. Euann is watching a security feed on his phone and he notices someone strange in the forest and he goes to check it out and finds a woman and she tells him he should run away but he doesn't and he feels the need to help her he has not felt about any woman like he feels for this woman he doesn't know anything about yet. He meets a pretty little girl that is with the woman who is Corinna Dewitt who has brought the child Jewel there against her will and is now trying to figure out what is going to happen next. No one is aware yet that this child is special to all of them. This is a funny, intriguing and romantic suspense that you will absolutely love if you like this type of book . the characters are very wonderful as well as interesting. I was given a copy as a gift from the author without obligation.

The best of the Scottish family with all kinds of magick. A special child. A missing son. An old feud? I will promise something. You will never think of Tai Chi the same again.

Euann sees how happy his brothers are with their new wives. He tries to keep his own want for a mates secret knowing he'd get even more teasing if they knew. Right now they are all depressed over their missing brother/son/nephew, Kenneth on this his birthday.

When a special child shows up even this strange family is outdone and under the control of unknown forces. There is a mystery a magickal mystery none can seem to figure out. There is no mystery about Euann's feelings for Cora the child's adult companion.

Not only is there a mystery around her but danger as well. Will it be strong enough to stump these century-old Paranormal beings? Will Euann finally find his other half? Or will the evil chasing them keep them apart?

This is so much fun and full of surprises that are no surprise with this family. I enjoyed it all. Felt the pain the laughter and steam. If you've read any of the other MacGregor books you won't let this one get by you. If you haven't you will love it and want to find out more about the outrageous family.

This book is packed full of the MacGregor family shaningons. This family of warlocks is a close-knit family and full of magickal fun. Kenneth has been missing for 25 years without a trace until a human woman named Cora shows up with a little Phoenix shifter girl, Jules. The girl kidnapped Cora with her magick into a road trip that led them and Kenneth to a family reunion. Euann is pulled to Cora and falls in love with her. There's mountain witches that are looking for Jules and Kenneth, and when they show up, the family will pull together to protect them and Cora who is unwilling caught in this mess. During all this, Cora falls for Euann just as much as he for her.
I loved this book and series. The MacGregor family is a fun family full of mischief. There's so much packed into each story that only reading or listening to the audio book could do it real justice. I recommend this book. It has wonderful characters, steamy, handsome warlocks, sassy women, magickal creatures, element of danger, packed full of adventure, funny moments, and it's entertaining.
The audio book's narrator has a real sexy sounding voice that can do an awesome Scottish accent. I love listening to the book as he read it.

Michelle Pillow - Kisses and Curses (Warlocks MacGregor Book 6)

Warlocks MacGregor treats us to Euann’s story, finally the Tech savvy Druid/Warlock gets his kilt in a knot over a strange woman and child he finds on the family’s grounds.

The brother uses both magic and technology to maintain the security of their estate and Manor in Green Vallis, Washington.
A mysterious child has been found playing with a woman named Cora in their woods. Turns out this child has incredible powers and is holding Cora as a playmate. Euann immediately sees there is more to this situation than meets the eye, including forced magical tea parties having some of the brothers, cousins and uncle dressed up as princesses.

Euann finds himself drawn to the beautiful feisty Corina and is determined to protect her and win her heart.
The story gets more interesting as the mystery of his missing brother is unraveled and somehow tied to the magical child.\

Filled with lots of magic and humor, excitement and mystery, passion and romance, this heart warming, crazy, fun book will entertain readers and is a wonderful addition to this very enjoyable series.

Scottish Warlock Euann MacGregor is tech savvy. He enjoys electronics and is in charge of security for the MacGregors. Watching his brothers and cousins find true love make him long to find his. Corinna Dewitt is a librarian with a trunk load of trouble. She has been kidnapped by a little girl who appears to have magical powers. When they get to the Wisconsin Home of the MacGregor Clan, then the fun begins. Jewel immediately has these powerful warlocks under control. It’s a giant tea party and absolutely hilarious. Raibert loves it. It’s right up his alley pink tutu and all. This story is a fantastic addition to the MacGregor series. Jewel brought more than a crazy tea party with her. It turns out to a wonderful surprise. There are a number of magical creatures, warlocks, mountain witches, and a Phoenix lead the pack. There is lots of fun, action, mystery and danger. There is also a lovely romance between Euann and Cora. Twists, turns, surprises, and general mayhem along with awesome characters keeps your attention start to finish. Great narration by Michael Ferraiuolo.

You've got to love the Scottish and the MacGregor clan is a riot of laughs.
Euann has loved and lost and maybe this time he'll find a woman of his own. His story touches the heart and tickles the belly and warms you all over.
Cora has been abducted by a magical child and they find their way into MacGregor territory and this is where the story begins.
As with all books in this series, there is a lot going on. This is a very magical family with enemies yet each book introduces a family member to their mate. But these books are so much more than that. There is love, adventure, enemies and the best is the family themselves.
I swear I laugh so hard from the insanity these characters offer. The interaction between them is a bond that is strong and yet we all know how siblings and family can be.
If ever you want to read a series that has it all.....this one would be it.
I'm always on the lookout for another MacGregor book. I personally can't get enough of them :)

An intriguing story that seems to involve two people who were fated to cross paths.
A genius author who takes Scottish warlocks and makes them funny but also attractive.
Euann isn't like his other siblings, he tries to rely on tech over magic.
When Cora appears on their land, confusion soon turns to attraction and affects them both instantly.
The past and its mysteries are no longer such a secret and revelations strengthen the Macgregor family as well as make it larger.

I couldn't help but love uncle raibeart and his eccentric slightly crazy behaviour.
It added to the charm of the book in my opinion that such banter and amusement existed within.
I need to read the other characters stories to truly feel connected to each couple but I doubt that will take me long.
This was such a refreshing read that had a mixture of creatures and a unique take on supernatural romance.

More Fun With The MacGregors!

The story made me giggle more than normal! The MacGregor family are so funny in their ways! This time Euann gets his forever love in the form of Cora who arrives unexpectedly under a spell from a little girl.

This story is a little different from the rest of the series, it crosses two of the brothers, one of them who surprises everyone and Euann who realises Cora is the one for him.

It does show Cora and Euann’s romance but not in as much detail. The feelings and emotions they have for each other shines through on the pages plus the fun along the way.

Most of the family are included in this story and it’s great to see how they interact with each other.
A really great storyline, some mystery and spying is involved, some moments which touch your heart plus a new character is in town.

Overall another fantastic story from the simply mad but lovable MacGregors

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Laugh Alert!!

The crazy MacGregor’s are at it again and this time it’s Euann’s turn to get hit by cupid’s arrow!

Cora Dewitt is a librarian in Oklahoma when she is “kidnapped” by a darling little girl named Jewel. Jewell convinces her, with a little magic, to drive her to Green Vallis, Wisconsin to the MacGregor lands. When Euann sees a blip in his security system, he goes to investigate and finds Cora in the woods. She tells him to run, but of course he doesn’t so when Jewell finds him she takes control of him also. Pretty soon they are in the house and Jewell has everyone under control for a tea party. And it just gets crazier from there!

This is the funniest book of all of them so far. I laughed through the whole thing! Couldn’t put it down!

I am a fan and enjoy Michelle M Pillow's books as they are lovely escapism with mix of sexy, fun, magic and all things supernatural.
The MacGregor family are a great eclectic mix of characters and each book is based around one member of the very extensive family as they discover their true love/soul mate which involves a magical, mysterious and rollercoaster of adventure. This time we have Euann and Cora's story.
Enjoyable, fun, romantic and pure escapism to enter into and learn more about the MacGregor clan, background to each family member and always the other interesting characters in the family around to cause mischief and mayhem.
Added bonus with the audiobook version is a great Scottish accent of the narrator Michael Ferraiuolo which brings to life the chaotic MacGregor clan.

We're back with the wonderful MacGregor family. Every time we meet them there is something amiss. We've met Euann in the other stories and I have been looking forward to his love. Michelle doesn't disappoint with this story. I love seeing this close knit family come together in good times and in bad. They are full of tricks but are always there to help each other. Cora has been kidnapped, brought to Wisconsin against her will and here she meets the MacGregors. Little does anyone know that this little spitfire that kidnapped Cora will change all of their lives. I cannot wait to see where Michelle will bring us with this family of Warlocks. A large part of me wishes I could be there with them now.

Entertaining read

The antics of the MacGregor clan continue unabated, and wherever they go, mayhem seems to follow. This time, the mystery of the missing Kenneth is explained, while Euann thinks the beautiful woman he has found in the forest must be a wood nymph. Of course, Cora is just a human, but Euann senses something special about her, something compelling, something perhaps related to the mysteriously powerful child, Jewel, with whom Cora has been travelling.
When Euann discovers that Cora and Jewel are in danger, he realises that what he feels for Cora is more than simple attraction, but will he be in time?

This is an entertaining read, a delightful addition to the MacGregor's tale, and a pleasant way to fill an afternoon.

Excellent romantic magical comedy

Cora has been kidnapped by 6yo Jewel (yep, really), who forces her to drive around the country until they end up in Wisconsin. Jewel makes Cora play a game in the forest, and it sets off Euann's alarms. Cora tries to warn him, but soon Euann and his entire family are magicked into playing princess dress up. This book brings back the comedy that was prevalent in the first book. I was especially thrilled to interact lots with Eric and Lydia, Iain and Jane, and Malina; I missed Niall and Charlotte. I loved that Margareta finally got her dearest wish.

Stand alone HEA, but so much better if you've read the other books first.

Contains sex scenes, few swear words, and violence (punching, kidnapping).

I bought the book, then received a copy from Booksprout; this is my honest review
-Over-the-top situations - get ready for them at all turns.
-Finally Euann gets the girl and it's Cora who's been given a bit of magic.
-I'm not sure why Jewel was hiding in the trunk - from her father maybe?
-I hope they get the upper hand on Mrs. Callister and I hope Jefferson gets a better welcome to the town (I also hope he's not a bad guy).
-It's been a while since I've heard of dhampirs.
-I love Uncle Raibeart and he's been so sweet with Jewel.
-Editing needs another pass but not as bad as the other books from the series: than vs. then, returning vs. returned, tabbaci vs. tobacco and many repeats like how the soil helps their power ~ 4 times in the same book.

Have fun at the princess tea parties...

This book is hilarious.

Cora is looking for a way to break free of the crazy that has recently taken hold of her life and return to normal... encountering the MacGregors isn't likely to help.

Euann sees something special in Cora right from the beginning, but convincing her it's real may be the challenge.

This done in one story has a fabulous sense of humor, it does a nice job of exploring how the MacGregors fit in with the community, Uncle Raibert is priceless as always, and some serious issues are dealt with amid the humor, namely a parent's love, and the challenges time apart can present to families.

Another fabulous hit in the World of Warlocks MacGregor! Every single story in this series has been so enjoyable, full of laugh out loud moments, romantic gestures, wild and crazy hijinks, magic, pranks, drama, mystery, ghosts, and so much more. The brothers and their cousin are remembering Kenneth MacGregor, who has been missing for 25 years and then suddenly something very strange happens. In this story there is even more going on then usual, focusing on Euann MacGregor, who may finally find his match, with a few huge surprises that enter their lives. Everyone has to work together to solve the huge problem and protect their family. This series would be amazing if they were made into movies or a series on TV. It would be so wonderful!! I love the MacGregor family so much!!

This is a fantastic book, I loved Eaunn he was a big a, sexy shape shifting warlock. Corina is a beautiful feisty woman who was not expecting to meet her soulmate like this. All of the MacGregor books are fantastic and I have loved every single one. This book really had it all. Romance, humor, danger, and most of all an amazing HEA. You even finally find out what happened to the mysterious missing brother Kenneth. I highly recommend this book, this author and this series to anyone who loves paranormal romances. I know you will love this book as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy. You will be very very glad that you did.

Euann wants to find his love and is walking in the woods on his family's estate making sure it's secure he senses a presence. Cora only wanted to get gas and a little girl asks if she wants to play. She said yes and found herself driving to another state with a child in her trunk. Cora tried to warn Euann about Jewel but he found himself dressed in a dress having a tea party. The family banded together to protect Jewel. Michelle M. Pillow writes hilarious books that keep me interested all the way through.

I am thoroughly enjoying this series about the MacGregor warlocks. This one is about Euann the supposedly tech savvy one who is in charge of the family security. One day while checking a security feed he sees a strange young girl and going to investigate meets Cora, who is taking care of the young girl, Jewel. Cora holds a piece of the puzzle that has baffled the MacGregors for years. This novel has it all - a strange child, a MacGregor who has been missing for twenty-five years, a mystery, passion, humour - and plenty of twists and turns to keep you engrossed.

I love this series! This is Euann’s story. I found it to be engaging, sometimes humorous, and overall enjoyable. Euann is one of the MacGregor clan, who happen to be warlocks. Jewel showed up with Cora. Jewel is a mischievous imp of a child. Cora, though human, quickly becomes part of the family. Strongly recommend reading the books in sequence in the series. I especially like starting the next immediately upon completing the previous. Love how the characters continue in each story. The narration was very well done. Euann finally gets his girl in this book with a few other surprises along the way including a little girl. Michelle M Pillow has written interruption after interruption for Euann and Cora as they try to get time alone that ends up being rather funny even as it ramps up the tension between them. I listened to this book and Michael Ferraiuolo does his usual stupendous job of narration. There is a reason why he is in so much demand.
If I have any criticism at all it’s that there are now so many characters in this series that it’s hard to remember who is who sometimes.
