The true meaning of Christmas

A really good read. Well thought out plot and realistic characters that pull you into the story. Just a shame about the proofing errors.
She has recently opened her small cafe but it seems to be a hit with the locals and Christmas looks as if it will be a good one. When she got in that morning she didn't expect to hear that one of the town's residents has died. Although it looks like an accident, most people that knew the dead woman don't think so. As her curiosity mounts and she starts looking into it, she too has her doubts. However the handsome police officer wants her to be careful and not nose around. Throw in an estranged son, a treasure hunt, a PI with a conscience, missing books and a burglar for a read that shows the true meaning of a small town and it's commitment to ensure justice for it's residents. Especially the dead ones!

Dumb dog names

Well the dog was saddled with several bad names, but he didnt seem to mind. The story was cute and a murder mystery was solved by Jasmine and Jake, with help from others. The book needed quite a bit of editing, especially for every time the phrase "had went" was used. Other than the typos the book was readable and a good way to spend some time with a cosy mystery.

Delicious and cozy

I enjoyed reading this cozy mystery. The characters were believable and likable, at least the ones that weren’t pushing a sweet lady down her stairs. I’d like to visit the Cafe and I’d like to read more books in this series.

Goid book!

I gave this book 5 stars because it was such a sweet read, with unique characters names. The name if the cafe is an example! The dog's name is Peppermint Bark, and a real cutie! Read it for yourself, you will like it as much as I do!
