Amateur sleuth Haley Randolph returns in a hilarious new novella! Haley Randolph, fashionista and event planner to the stars, must find a way to stand out at the prestigious conference of the Hospitality Professionals of America—not easy with a celebrity chef marinating in all the attention. But Haley gets distracted by five mouthwatering messenger bags from the world’s hottest new designer, a delectable treat she can’t resist—and they're up for grabs! Haley expects to find peace and tranquility in the moonlit labyrinth walk, but stumbles over a dead body instead. And as if that weren’t enough to sink a soufflé, she learns that the messenger bags have been stolen. Hot PI Jack Bishop is providing security for the conference but his reputation will be burned to a crisp unless Haley can whip up the killer. Soon she discovers a dash of family secrets, a pinch of old grudges, and a sprinkling of broken dreams—a recipe for murder!
Dorothy Howell writes for two publishing houses, in two genres, under two names. She writes mysteries as Dorothy Howell historical romance novels under the pseudonym Judith Stacy.

I love Dorothy Howell's Hailey Randolph books! These are well written and no cuss words. They are adult enough that even in my 40's I enjoy reading them, but would feel comfortable enough to allow a teenage girl to read them. I can't wait to find out which handbag or boyfriend she will choose!!! I can't wait for each new book to come out!!
This is novella so it was a super quick read. I enjoy this series. The main character is like able and funny. I believe the author has written four novellas and several full length novels (which I prefer) in the series.
These books are like candy! Not great literature, but fun reads! I do kind of miss Haley’s adventures at Holt’s, and I am feeling older than when I first started reading them, but I totally want a Titan Messenger Bag!!! Maybe I just relate to Haley’s frappie addiction?!
