Just as FANTASTIC and EMOTIONAL as the first book!!! Marina Adair is ON FIRE with this series!!

“And for the record, I think stubborn is sexy on a woman.”
“You’re just saying that because you have your eye on my remaining cupcake,” she teased.
“I’d have my eyes on more than your cupcake, but you laid down the no-flirting rule.”

Ford Jamison knows to keep his feelings out of the way of doing his job. As head of Reno’s K-9 search division making life-or-death decisions in an instant has always been easy for him. He never doubted his decisions until the rescue and retrieval of two years ago. And the promise he made then continues to haunt him. The guilt continues two eat at him and he knows the only way to move forward, to stop risking the career he loves is to return to Sequoia Lake. He had hoped to find closure, but instead he found himself in the company of the very woman he should stay away from, the woman his secret would hurt and the woman he suddenly has trouble staying away from.

For the last two years Liv Preston’s world has been about her little son and picking up the broken pieces of their lives since her husband tragically died. She’s determined to make her little guy smile again and to grab her career by the horns. What she didn’t count on was the sudden attraction she felt for her sexy new neighbour, Ford.

It wasn’t peace he was feeling—it was coming home. He didn’t want to run, didn’t feel the need to search. He felt as if he’d been lost, searching for his way home, and Liv had rescued him.

I adored Ford! I loved the way he flirted with Liv, that he called her cupcake and that he couldn’t keep his distance from her, even while knowing it could end in disaster. His dog, Bullseye, was so adorable and I loved how sweet he was with him.

In dust-covered boots, low-slung tactical pants, and enough testosterone to level a football arena, Ford was over six feet of unadulterated fun waiting to be tapped.

Liv was a wonderful heroine and the way she loved her son was amazing. I definitely could relate to her love of cupcakes and I loved the friendship she built with Avery and Grace. I also loved how brave she was, working so hard at proving she was the right person for a new opening at work and the way she opened up to Ford even when she was afraid of taking a risk again.

“I came here searching for answers and found meaning.” He looked into her eyes. “I found you, Liv.”

I’m a sucker for instant attraction and it was so great here and I loved that their romance was still a slow burn with lots of cute banter and flirting! The older woman, younger man trope is a favorite of mine and I loved that the age difference between them was never an issue. Their romance was sweet, sexy and very emotional and I loved all of it!

“I wish someone would move on me,” Grace said. “It’s been so long I don’t know if my body would know how to move back.”

I love small town romances and this series has a cast of amazing characters. All the senior townspeople are hilarious especially the women and how they kept making passes at Ford :-D Then there’s Harris and who is so sexy and the way he loves his little daughter just made my ovaries explode. I really hope we get a book for him and I REALLY hope Grace is going to be the one for him. *crossing fingers*

I am SO loving this series! I love all the feels and how sweet and sexy it is. A definite must read for all romance fans!

A sweet and heartwarming love story...

When Liv bought her late husband's childhood home, all she has in mind is for her six-year old son and herself move on. But she didn't expect the guy from next door would be of big help. Ford didn't expect to be part of Liv's life as well, especially that he's still being haunted by his past.

Packed with fun and sweet moments, this book is so well-written that I feel like I'm a part of Sequoia Lake, or rather I want to be part of it. I love the people in it. The characters are not shallow and definitely not the cliche types who said the cliche dialogue. Because seriously, most contemporary novels like this almost have the same dialogues. Liv is sweet which is slightly opposite from Ford's indifference to emotions.. :) :)

Though the main conflict showed up almost at the end of the story and was solved almost instantly, I'm fine with. I still enjoyed reading this.

Marina Adair is one of my top go-to authors for contemporary romance novels and she persistently proves to be so with each book she writes. This second installment of Marina Adair’s Sequoia Lake series has heartbreaking bits that made my heart ache, and I loved the well-deserved happy ending. Adair wrote a story of love, loss, and second chances, and it was an amazing read.

Liv and Ford’s past experiences and current situation just touched my heart along with Knox, Liv’s MIL and the rest of secondary characters. Adair’s writing gives you a chance to get to know everyone in this town and I can’t help feel anything but adoration for all of them. Especially Liv and Ford.

I love Liv because of who she is. This good hearted woman who despite her hardships, still strives to be a better person, strives to work on her nursing career, and be the best mom she can be. After losing her husband a couple of years back, nothing has been easy for her but she is amazingly surviving with a gusto. Of course, after meeting a search-and-rescue officer who happens to have just moved in next door makes things complicated, but almost a relief that there could be life after being a widow.

Ford has his heart set to make sure Liv and Knox are well taken care of but from afar. His obligation to doing this gets more complicated when he comes to town for a temporary assignment. Getting to know each other is inevitable and following the single-mom rule is just harder to follow. They live in a small town after all. I love, love Ford. He’s your all-American hero whose heart will always be in the right place. He’s sweet, sexy, and super flirty.

The twists of the story were unexpected but it wasn’t a surprise. I like that Adair slowly informed her readers that there’s a connection there and that there are secrets that could ruin everything. Rest assured, there is a happy-ending that is well deserved. This book is a feel-good romance novel and perfect for a summer read.

ARC REVIEW, 3.5 stars

If I have not said it before, shame on me, but I love the way Marina Adair writes. There is an easy quality to her stories and she hits just the right notes on the emotional scale. Her small town settings give us an opportunity to mingle with some well-meaning, but quirky characters. In my mind, I keep picturing television shows like Northern Exposure and the Bob Newhart shows. Every Little Kiss is book two in the Sequoia Lake series. Because this series features the Sequoia Elite Mountain Rescue team, it features another favorite feature of mine – very hunky first responders. Hubba hubba.

Ford Jamison is an elite K-9 handler out of Reno but gets called in to do rescue and recovery work all over the world with his trusty partner, Bullseye. Years ago, he had to make a heartbreaking decision of rescuing either the father or son after they were in a car accident. That situation leaves an indelible mark on both the boy and the rescuer. The boy, Paxton, now suffers from select mutism and the Ford carries the guilt of not being able to save both. This is further complicated by a promise Ford makes to the father to deliver one last present to his wife. Liv Preston is cautiously but surely learning to go on with life without her husband. She recognizes that it would be easy to focus her entire life on her son and bury her grief, but she does not do that. She knows that she must take care of her child by being a warrior for him and modeling that same behavior. This is where the story really shines for me. I really like how Liv pulls herself up and takes risks to help herself evolve, but to also be the mother that Paxton needs. This includes standing up to her mother in law. I love how she finds her voice and puts on her Wonder Woman warrior armor to face challenges head on. When she meets Ford, it is easy to be attracted to him. But Liv also sees Ford for who he really is and what he really needs. He is a man who needs deep connections but avoids them like the plague. Unfortunately, Ford’s story is a weak point in the plot. We know that he is abandoned by his father as a child and that makes him wary of investing in relationships. I get it, but he is a little stalker-ish. He sends both Liv and Paxton anonymous presents, he helps Paxton get accepted and pays the tuition for a popular summer camp. He is generous, but he does not know this woman or her child. Also, I have a real issue with his inability to come clean with Liv about who he really is and how he is connected to her and her deceased husband. I think it took entirely too long for him to tell her the truth. I also got tired of his excuses for keeping his secret. It becomes a character issue for me.

Luckily, the author also knows how to write a good happily ever after. She mostly redeems Ford at the end, mostly. It is Liv’s courage that makes me reconsider Ford. She does not settle for anything less than being totally loved. Here is a woman who knows her worth.

*sigh*. Aw, there is nothing like a Marina Adair happy ending! She writes them better than almost anyone I know and this one ranks as one of her best!

I'll admit I was a bit worried throughout the first half of the book. It kind of wandered around a lot. I could put it down and not even think about it (something I’m rarely able to do with this author's books). I also had trouble connecting (or really liking) Liv's character, as she was so short and closed off with those around her. Thankfully not long after the 50% mark everything started picking up and, once again, the magic started happening. The strongest points?

I LOVED that the relationship came organically and grew before all the sexcapades. It was beautifully real and wonderfully done. Liv is a widowed mother who is trying to mend her broken heart while raising a child who has suffered a severe trauma. Allowing her to slowly grow and learn to love again before the physical aspect takes over made this story so much more real and touching.

I LOVED Paxton and his relationship with his Mom. Another aspect that resonated with believability. Things aren't always easy, sweet and fun when trying to love and help children through their hardships. This story shows both the depth of that love and the uncertainty any parent has when navigating the emotions and hurts of their children's fears.

I also loved Ford's character, although I didn't get the whole, "I can't tell her" excuse. It just didn't make sense. Still, his amazing loyalty and kindness far outweighed any short-comings.

SO... my advice - persevere through the first half and you will have yourself an exquisitely touching and sweet confection guaranteed to bring on those happy sighs!!

I have really enjoyed some of Marina's other books, so I requested this off her her name alone.

I really liked Liv and Ford. She's sweet and he's stoic and together they just work. They're both stronger than they realize and it was interesting to see how they were able to work through the things they're each struggling with. Bullseye is hands down the best part of this story and stole every scene.

Plot wise, it was what I expected, to a point. I don't feel like it's a spoiler to say there's a HEA. Surprisingly the conflict didn't show up until the book was almost over and it's resolved so so so quickly. Not to mention, Liv's son Paxton is 100% on board with everything when it seemed like he had only been around Ford a small handful of times. {Obviously I'm reading way too much into it, but for some reason, I couldn't get that part out of my head.}

Overall, it's a sweet story with some adorable moments, a fantastic grand gesture, and what could be the best dog ever written. I can't wait to see who's next. Fingers crossed for Harris and Grace.

I absolutely loved this book. I was going to knock off a star because it has the dreaded break up scene at about 90%, but the ending was just so perfect I had to give it all 5 stars. I knew they were going to have a fight because of Ford’s not coming clean about who he was certainly hung in the air between them.

Still this was such a beautiful story. I loved Liv and Paxton. She was trying so hard to give her son back the life that was stolen from him that Christmas Eve. Watching him slowly open up to life again was so moving.

***Minor spoilers***

Liv hasn't had the best past few years. Her husband died in a tragic accident, and her son doesn't really speak to anyone but her anymore. She struggles to balance being a nurse with being a single mother. New light appears to come into Liv's hometown in the form of a man named Ford, but what she doesn't know is that Ford is the rescue worker who rescued her son and was forced to leave her husband to die in the blizzard. When the two grow closer together, Ford struggles with figuring out how he could tell her his role in her husband's accident, and what would happen if he knew. He doesn't want to be the thing that reminds her of the tragedy, but at the same time, how could he live a lie?

This was a cute book with an interesting story, but I didn't find it particularly gratifying. The writing was good, and the characters were developed, but I just found that I didn't care enough about their situation. Perhaps it was because the perspectives of the characters were a little distanced and I couldn't feel fully for them, or just that the characters themselves just came off as distanced. Liv in particular felt a bit cold. While I understood the characters, I didn't empathize with them, which lessened my interest in the book. Despite this, the characters were well done, I just didn't feel a connection to them.

I find that there isn't too much to say about this book. It had a cute romance, but nothing that struck me as amazing. The story was a bit predictable in how , which was disappointing but at the same time it's the only bit of excitement in the story.

Overall, while I enjoyed this book, I didn't think it was anything special. I didn't feel that much of a connection to the characters or the story, so I found it hard to enjoy it at times. I feel like it would have been better if it delved deeper into the minds of the main characters, particularly Liv. I felt like her feelings were just the same things over and over again. I wouldn't tell you not to read it, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

Nice small town romance, my first read by this author. I took it because I like 'second chance at love' stories and K9 Search-and-Rescue. The story fulfilled the first part, but all the S&R was off-page, and the dog (Bullseye) was woefully underused for my tastes. The big secret wasn't that big a deal, imo, but it was definitely something Ford should have told Liv about before beginning a relationship with her.

I loved the emotional undertones of these two books. They both had me in tears at different points. And while I loved this one, there were a couple of things I'd wished had been done differently. Overall, I really enjoyed it though.

And I love that all Marina's books involve busybody older ladies. She writes the best ones.

Liv Preston, bought her husband's childhood home after he died in a traffic accident. She and her six-year-old son are taking it one day at a time. Adair does an incredible job of bringing us into their home and sharing the complexities of their daily life and their struggles to move forward. I liked and identified with Liv but recognized she isn't quite living. Her son is adorable from his stuffed dog to his love of super heroes.

Ford Jamison is the head of Reno’s K-9 search division. A tragedy two years ago left him questioning his decisions and seeking redemption. He returns to Sequoia Lake to put the past behind him and prepare for his next assignment. But Liv and her son are there, and things are about to get complicated.

Adair descriptive writing style brought the town to life while allowing us to get to know Ford and Liv. Ford is quite sexy, and the ladies are fawning over him, particularly the older women of the community. Liv is reawakening, setting career goals and for the first time reaching out to participate in small-town life.

I loved the feisty older women who all needed saving. The back and forth banter and trickery between Ford and a fellow officer added moments of laughter.  Then we had Super Hero camp and community mothers who quickly made us feel a part of the town and upcoming events. All of these elements added depth and had me wanting to pack my bags and move to Sequoia Lake.

Through it all, a relationship is developing between Ford and Liv. It is slow burning and filled with baby steps and no expectations. Ford was swoony, as are most heroes, and I had no trouble falling for this man and his dog. I felt for him, but I also wish, he had been more open about who he was in the beginning. On the other hand, Ford awakened something in Liv. I enjoyed seeing her blossom and engage in life again. Baby steps for her and her son, but it was a pleasure to witness.

Adair managed to give me all of the feels from sorrow to outbursts of laughter. Renee Raudman's narration was delightful. I adore her narration of Ilona Andrews works, so it was pleasant listening to her take on a contemporary romance. She does well with both male and female voices, and I quickly slipped in. Ruadman enhances any tale she narrates capturing the emotions of the characters and enabling the listener to lose themselves in the story.

Sweet read

I really like this one. Sweet touching story about healing.

Paxton’s story was very touching and made you want to cry. Liv was so realistic. She wasn’t the perfect mom and was learning as she went and that is so real life!! Ford was sexy and hot.

Great heart warming story

Liv is a sassy lady, “I thought you were checking to see if I’m wearing a bra.” She bit her lip and shook her head." Foord appreciates all the effort his girl does, “you bought new panties,” he said in a low voice , but she saw other, deliciously big, signs that he was as excited over her panty choice as she was." I really liked this book, I fell in love with Ford.

After basically inhaling It Started with a Kiss, I was really hoping that the second book in the series would be just as good and it did not disappoint.

There were so many things I absolutely loved about this book. And almost all of them had to do with the greatness that was Ford Jamison and his search-and-rescue dog Bullseye. I had one major fault with Ford: the fact that he wasn’t entirely truthful with Liv from the very beginning. But everything else about Ford’s kindness helped ease the sting of being so very unhappy about that. I feel like characters with S&R jobs are often made from the same mold. They’re alpha and broody and haunted by their pasts. While Ford definitely showed those characteristics, there was also a ton of fun and joy about him that hooked me from the very beginning. And any scene he was in with Bullseye just made my dog-loving heart fill to just about bursting. Bullseye was such an important character and I loved that Adair gave him as much personality as she gave any human character. He had quirks and brought a very important lightness to the story.

I had a bit of a harder time immediately connecting with Liv, but she absolutely grew on me as the story progressed. She occasionally came across as a bit cold and closed off to the people around her, but all the scenes with her son gave her more depth. And the more we learn about her past and her relationship with her deceased husband, the more her drive to be independent and take care of things on her own made sense.

The only thing I really didn’t care for was the conflict: I found it entirely predictable and one of my least favorite reasons characters are driven apart in novels. There are few things I hate more than the “keeping a secret from the person I love for their own good” trope, especially when the character being kept in the dark is capable and strong. And I couldn’t decide if I hated or loved the fact that the conflict didn’t show up until the book was almost over. It kept me on edge, strongly suspecting it was coming, and that may have somewhat detracted from my overall enjoyment of the couple’s good moments because I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. But having it that close to the end meant that it was all wrapped up and dealt with in a very speedy fashion and I appreciated not having multiple chapters of both characters being sad and melodramatic as they each blame the other for the inevitable breakup.

This is only the first series I’ve read by Marina Adair, but I’m already in love with the way she writes. Especially in this series, the emotion she writes could have easily taken a turn for the worst and just made the book a downer. But instead she does a brilliant job of balancing the deeply emotional moments with light, heartwarming scenes and a collection of supporting characters that help Ford and Liv see the good in the world when they’re struggling with loss. The emotion doesn’t feel contrived and like it exists just to make the hero broody or the heroine broken; it’s real and poignant and woven into the fabric of their characters.

Disclosure up front: I don't usually read contemporary romance. This book has been in my TBR pile for almost 10 months. I would pick it up and put it down repeatedly.

Well, I finally picked it up and read it. And guess what? It was really good.

Olivia Preston is a young widow with a little boy who seldom speaks since the accident that took his father's life. He insists that a dog flew down from the sky and saved him, and Liv is at her wit's end trying to get him to understand that this couldn't have happened. She's moved back to her husband's home town in the hopes that getting to know the community where Same grew up will help her get some closure.

Ford Jamison is her next door neighbor. He and his dog, Bullseye, are search-and-rescue pros ... and Ford has a secret that he doesn't want Olivia to ever know. Things get complicated when he realizes that the two are falling in love.

The secret is not hidden from the reader at all, but it's also what cost the book a star for me. Just about all relationship complications come from not being honest and upfront ... and that's where Ford seems to make all of his mistakes. Of course, it would be a much shorter book if Ford had just told the truth right away.

Still, the author brings us into a small Northern California town peopled with believable characters and situations. I felt like I knew the neighbors, the shopkeepers, and more. It's no wonder that Marina Adair's books are so popular. She brings us into the situation, yanks on our heartstrings, and doesn't let go.

Received an ARC for my fair review for netgalley. I enjoy Ms. Adair's books, they always deal with more than one emotion, you have happiness, sadness, grief, and frustration, all rolled up into one book. We were previously introduced to Liz, in the last book, and I liked her, but in this book, she annoyed me, she was a little too stubborn, a little too independent, and I felt like she just thought that what she thought was always correct, it just bugged me. It just did not seem like the same sweet person from last book, but it could just have been me. Now we meet Ford, and god almighty, he sounded "hot", I really wanted a visual, I still loved my Ty and Harrison, from first book but he has been added to the ranks. He was sweet, true he kept a pretty secret, a bad one, and should have come clean, and in that I will give it to her, in just that aspect, but everything else, he was absolutely, the best, he deserved someone who noticed all he had to give and then some. Now don't get me wrong, I do know that Liz had a pretty rough time, and it could not have been easy for her, but the going back and forth, anyway, she did have her good points, she was a good person, great mom, great nurse, and her friends loved her. Anyway, hope next book is about Harrison and Grace.

This is the 2nd in a series but I don’t feel like I missed anything by not reading the first. This can definitely be read as a standalone novel.

I really enjoyed this contemporary romance. It’s the first book I’ve read by Marina Adair but I don’t think it will be the last. She has such a way of balancing the emotional wallop of the story with the quirkiness of the characters and the town. It never felt overdone or underdone. It was all just right. This romance centers around loss and its impact on a number of people.

I LOVE Bullseye (the hero’s canine partner) and what a fun part of the story he is for the characters. I thought the journey of healing for both Liv and her son was so well done. The relationship between Liv and her son’s grandmother also really resonated with me – it felt real and honest. All in all, I really enjoyed this story and how it all came together. The community in this novel (Sequoia Lake) is really sweet and I can’t wait to read more about the characters I’ve met in this novel. Definitely recommended!

NOTE: Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a free ARC of this novel for an honest review.

This is not the first book I have read by Marina Adair, and it will not be the last. When I received an invitation from the publisher, via Net-Galley, I eagerly accepted, and I am very glad I did.

I thoroughly enjoyed Every Little Kiss from beginning to end. The romance is sweet, the characters are delightful, and the plot is realistic. I’m so glad I had a chance to read this emotionally-charged story. The pacing is nice and steady. The ending is one of the best I have read in a while.

Liv is a great heroine. She is determined to move forward and leave her grief in the past. I truly loved the way she protects her son and tries to help him become more carefree. I also liked her willingness to open her heart again after such a tragic loss.

Ford is a hero after my own heart. He is determined to fulfill the promise he made to a dying man. He had to make a horrific decision and I can understand why he has a difficult time moving forward and putting it behind him.

There is one thing I would have enjoyed. I loved Paxton and Bullseye, and I would have liked a bit more interaction between the child and the faithful dog. I think it would have enriched this story ever more.

If you enjoy small-town USA novels with great characters and strong American values, then you will love Every Little Kiss as much as I did. This is a good series and does not need to be read in order. Happy reading!

I am a huge fan of Marina Adair and her new Sequoia Lake series. Every Little Kiss, the second book in the series, is even better than the first and I was a huge fan of that one!

The strong single mother trope in romance novels is one of my favorites and Liv Preston is one of the best! She may be my favorite Adair heroine out of a pack of great heroine's. From the opening scene to the happy ending, Liv was smart and dedicated and the woman I want to be when I grow up. Since every good heroine needs a strong hero, Ford Jamison came into the picture. But, as we find out, he's been a part of Liv's life for longer than anyone realizes. Watching these two work through their attraction and their demons as they headed toward true love was really wonderful. The twists were well timed and kept the story going forward at a pace that had me up all night reading.

No one does small town series romance like Marina Adair and I can't wait for my next trip back to Sequoia Lake for another wonderful love story.

Marina Adair has written a timeless love story that will keep you turning the pages of her novel Every Little Kiss. I found myself transported to the small town of Sequoia Lake and what it means to be connected to a community. This is a place where everyone knows your business, even when it’s as benign as how many cupcakes you eat or whether you lick the frosting off before diving in.
The heroine Liv Preston is struggling to make a life for herself and her six-year-old son, Preston, after losing her husband Sam on a snowy Christmas night in a car accident. Only Preston survives and he’s not talking. Two years have passed since the tragedy and Preston, who was only four hasn’t really found his words or his voice except when talking to his mother. Preston, friendless, and trying to make sense of his memories is a boy who needs a miracle.
Ford Jamison considers himself to be lucky. He’s found his place in life as the head of Reno’s K-9 division. If only his personal life wasn’t in such a shambles. He’s about as lost as the people he rescues. Burdened by the choices and promises he’s made, he’s running from the truth and himself. Freewheeling, he’s without roots, without commitments, except to his dog Bullseye, and afraid to face his fear that he isn’t good enough.
These two damaged people are on a collision course where both of them will need to face themselves and their choices. Can Liv find the strength to move forward in her life after a tragedy that destroyed the fabric of her life? Can Ford face his demons and own up to his desire, and fess up to the secret he’s been harboring? Can these two lonely hearts ignore the sparks of attraction that won’t let go of them? You’ll have to pick up your copy of Every Little Kiss and find out if love triumph.

I loved this one, much like the previous one.

Here, we learn about Liv and Ford. Liv is a single mother that lost her husband to a car accident, that also left her little kid not wanting to talk. It was heartbreaking to watch him go through with this, but also super lovely to watch overcome that and be cute little boy Liv knew he was.

I loved Liv and her desire to make a better life for her and her kid; it was hard to see how much she had to struggle though, but a lot of that came from the fact that she refused to accept help from anyone. I liked her journey in this, how she started opening up and actually started to enjoy the little things.

Ford was a different story, he was great and a happy guy, but with a burden he carried all too willingly. I loved his work with his rescue dog and all the different things he did for the town, lol. He truly was a good guy, he just needed to believe it. There were some secrets and things he should’ve talked about with Liv from the start (boy, did I want to smack him, lol), but I loved their journey together and how they helped each other out be better.

Really enjoyed this second book in the series and can’t wait for the next one.

Ford Jameson is an elite K-9 Search and Rescue agent. Years ago, he made a decision to save the son from a father and son car crash. It left its mark on both of them. Ford questions his judgment on everything from that point on and the little boy, Paxton, withdraws into himself, speaking rarely.

Liv Preston is determined to make a good life for her and her son. She does a great job of pulling herself up and setting a good example for her son. She took crap from her mother-in-law much longer than I would have, but finally stood up for herself.

I loved Bullseye, Ford’s K-9. He stole the show in my opinion.

I struggled with a few aspect of Ford’s character. He needed more background into his childhood and how it shaped him. For being a world renown, sought out K-9 SAR agent, his character was weak.

This is the second book in the series. It’s an okay read, but not as good as the first one. I hope Harris is next!!

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC provided by the publisher and NetGalley.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
Liv Preston is trying to get her life back together after the death of her husband, not just for herself but for her young son too. Paxton has shied away from most things since his father's dead a few years ago. But Liv is determined to make life happy for them both. But when Liv meets Ford Jamison, can she trust her feelings?
Ford Jamison is head of the K-9 unit in Reno, and one hell of a man to behold. He is huge and very handsome. He calls Liv cupcake because when they first met she was wearing scrubs with cupcakes on them and doing surgery on a stuffed dog.
But Ford has a secret and he is only in town for a short time but is afraid when Liv learns his secret, she will hate him. Can he tell her the truth and move on? Will Liv be able to accept the truth and trust Ford in anything else he says? Will Paxton trust and began talking again? And will Bullseye ever stop stealing kids stuffed toys?
This story is heartwarming, with points of laughter and I loved it. Marina Adair has a way of touching your heart in this series. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

3.5 stars

I don't know how to rate this because I love some parts and have mixed feelings for some other parts but anyway I love Liv's love and devotion towards her son, Paxton. Paxton is the cutest, most adorable child it's hard not to love him. The bond between Ford and his dog Bullseye is also my favourite. I have a weakness. I also love Ford's flirty ways, as weird as it sounds. He's just a fun guy with a huge crush on the single supermom. The only qualm I had about this story is Ford's inability to come clean about who he really is and the role he played in Liv's husband's death,it made me uncomfortable.

Overall, it was an entertaining read. I really hope that Harris gets a book of his own. He's so adorable with his daughter. And I also want Liv's friend Grace to find her own HEA.

E-ARC is received thanks to the publisher via Netgalley.

The beauty of a Marina Adair novel is that, no matter how big or small, love is the force that drives them. The best way to read Ms. Adair is to listen with your heart. There is always a meaningful message behind the madness. Every Little Kiss, ponders a subject we all take for granted in a way that is humbling, humorous and hopeful. The small town presentation makes the journey more intimate but no less insightful. Life is a precious gift. Whether short or long, joyous or heartbreaking, the experiences are the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Trial or triumph, we don't want to miss a thing.

I love Marina Adair’s contemporary romances. They are always well written and she always provides such happy endings.

In Every Little Kiss, we meet Liv who is a single mom and Ford who serves as head of a K-9 Search and Rescue Division. Liv just wants to move forward with her life after the death of her husband and provide a safe, stable life for her son. Enter Ford, who unbeknownst to Liv, was the one who rescued her son from the accident but was forced to leave her husband behind to die. These secrets should have been shared with Liv from the beginning, but in the end, I like the way that things developed between them.

Liv and Ford will capture your heart! This book can be read as a stand-alone and you will not feel lost at any point in the book.
