Raised into the Hustle introduced you to Promise, a young girl who was molested and raped by her cousin at a very young age. Promise ended up getting pregnant and having a baby of incest. Once her mother found out she was pregnant she automatically thought that her daughter was being fast and when Promise gave birth, her mother gave the baby up for adoption. Promise ended up in the streets at the young age of 13 hooked on crack. One fateful day as she was looking through garbage cans trying to find her next meal she was introduced to Drama and his cousin Quez who happened to be big time hustlers. That chance encounter would change Promise's life forever.
So... Could this have been a good story? Maybe... The amount of errors in this story was just unacceptable. There were no quotation marks when the characters were speaking, quotation marks where they weren't needed, too many grammactical errors and punctuation errors were at an all time high. Certain parts of the story were all over the place which left you confused, as well as character names being misspelled. The author definitely should have invested in an editor.
As a reviewer I don't like giving a negative review without mentioning something positive about the story, but I can't say I have anything positive to say in regards to this story. There will be a part 2 to the story and I hope the author goes back to the drawing board and gives the readers a better product.
