I read the blurb and if it was the previous me I would have been too judgemental to pick it up. Having read the author's works I knew that if Myra chooses to be with two men then there would be a strong enough reason for it. ...No no...I am not justifying infidelity.... For you to understand why I liked the story despite its dark theme you have to read it.
The story is normally paced but the story is so compelling that I read it in one sitting. The icingon the cake is the fabulous twist. To be frank I was trying to figure out the ending but I was nowhere near it.
Pick this story keeping in mind the disclaimer given by the author in the blurb. Also go into the story with a very open mind. Enjoy the romance and thrill.

Mental health…
I absolutely do not want to spoil this story. And it is really good…
Myra is a young woman who had a serious illness during her childhood. After surgery she was considered cured at the age of eighteen. She decided that since her parents were too protective she would escape. So she ran away at night, and was picked up by a man driving a truck. He offered her biscuits that were drugged and she woke up kidnapped.
A man saved all of the children that night, but she didn’t want to go home at first. However she knew she needed to return home, so he took her there.
She was able to talk her parents into letting her go to college, and four years later she ran into that man again.
And it starts getting even more complicated…
KU read, excellent story but needs proofreading for the English. Still, I really liked this story and can recommend it.

After finishing off The Smitten Husband (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...) I decided to see what other Indian authors were writing on Kindle Unlimited and found this book.
This was a potboiler ala Sidney Sheldon which was a throwback. This is a bit like a thriller of the week - I won't necessarily remember it but I enjoyed my time with it, especially since I was down with a cold and couldn’t read a lot.
I must say that the blurb on Amazon and on Good Reads is completely different. The blurb on Amazon reads as follows:

Amazon looked more like a dark romance on the lines of a brooding alpha-hero trope but this book has infidelity which is advertised upfront. This might not be everyone’s cup of tea but without spoilers I would give it a chance. It works mostly.
The plot is quite over the top and remind me a lot of some Indian films that came out in the early 2000s. I would have given this a three stars in the end despite having read this type of story before (which has been done better). However, the book has some odd writing which is noticeable - and I am not talking idiomatic English - but some sentences and paragraphs were odd. I had to read them again to see if they made sense. Also, the last third of the book was too quick and there was an unnecessary mystery in here which didn’t get enough time or respect here. For this reason I ended up thinking this is an average book (2 stars).
Nevertheless, if you are KU subscriber I would give this a try. If the writing doesn’t bother you this is a quick read at 200 pages and the basic plot is fun enough.

Varun sabotaged his relationship with Myra in his agony. A while after her break-up, Myra meets Raj & after dating for a bit, they marry when Myra again comes across Varun. Myra still loves him to abstraction but she is happily married to Raj.

The cover page of this novel contradicts the story. A simple story narrated with some masala. Was very familiar with the plot as a few films have addressed the same.

Well, it surely was a great ride. A short one but still that kept me completely hooked to its pages since its prologue. I had been eyeing for this book since I completed MV Kasi's Shameless and Ruthless and I was really waiting to get my hands on this book. And "Holy! Mother Mary" I finally got my hand and yesterday and it took less than 24 hours to read this book. Undoubtedly one of Kasi's decent works where I really shipped for the forbidden couple, but eventually it was a really relieving experience for us reviewers when we finally got what we wanted. Myra is really a great and strong character who never gave up her hope against following her heart and her passion to love and live the life she always wanted. Romantically, this woman was living two different lives. At home, she was a doting wife who waited for her husband Raj and was living up the best married life one can even think about anyone. Furthermore, Raj was defined as Mr Right and Mr. Perfect that a woman can ever dream of, by flooding her with gifts, accompanying her in movies and also with her friends place. On the contrary, we come across a very interesting character and intense that I have ever read yet. Varun, the complete opposite to what one saw about Raj. Scarred, an anti-social, ruthless, cold, intense, passionate, possessive and lot more leading my viewers to generate the picture in their mind. Enamoured from the day she met Varun, she had her heart handed over to him and gradually she put each card up to finally make him fall for her as well. Now, what happens when she suddenly realises that ultimately she has to end with one when she finally gets caught? For that I will leave upto you and immediately get your copies.
However, I really wished to add one more star in my review but at the same moment I cannot deny the fact that the story really lacked a good writing and scripting that eventually get to see in major dark romances. I wished had she taken her time and written the story keeping each details intact rather than rushing it, I would have said this is one of the best ones I have ever read. Needless to say, I was suggest for a one time read.
However, I really wished to add one more star in my review but at the same moment I cannot deny the fact that the story really lacked a good writing and scripting that eventually get to see in major dark romances. When I came to know that this book featured his story, I didn't waste any time in ordering myself a copy and boy, I am so glad that I did!
This book is nothing like the other romances that I usually read. This is truly an extraordinary romance that totally stumped me then made a special place in my heart and forced me to add it to Njkinny's list of the Best Books of 2018.
The plot is so well planned that when the twist came it had goosebumps erupting on my body. I kept thinking that I had totally not seen this coming!
Varun was a tormented character from The Revenge Games series who had me feeling sorry for him and I eagerly awaited to see if he got his happily-ever-after. While this book can be read as a standalone story, Njkinny recommends that you read The Revenge Games series before reading this one so you understand Varun's character better.
Myra is a strong heroine who braves all obstacles to get her happily-ever-after even when it means laying her happiness and heart on the line. I loved and respected her and even when I didn't agree with her dual life, I still felt her big heart and her unconditional love towards both the men in her life.
This is a fast-paced story with a vivid narration that easily sucks you in and keeps you entranced throughout. Often while reading this book, I would suddenly realize that I had held my breath in anticipation of the next scene. This was the level of my engagement in the story!
Absolutely loved this book and applaud the author for a story well told!

This my third book written by this author. I like the topics touched by the author and narrated in the story. I think this is the first book which deals with this topic very sensitively.
When I started reading the book, I know that are many Varun's in this world...but definitely i don't like such people in life. Then further into the story, when it was portrayed as though Myra was playing a double life with Raj and Varun, my feelings for her changed. However, towards the end, the story answers all questions and has a satisfying end.

I loved reading this book it demonstrates what true love can accomplish no matter what obsticals fall in to destroy it's beauty

One of the things that I appreciate in M.V. Kasi's books is that one starts reading them and one gets hooked from the very first page without ever knowing what the outcome is going to be. this is one of those unputdownable books. Because of the theme, I thought that the author did a very thorough investigation as, in my very humble opinion, the book was very hard to write. A must read.

For much of this book, I felt uncomfortable as Myra is shown cheating on her sweet husband Raj. Once the twist was revealed, I was pleasantly surprised. But I still struggled to connect with Myra. A lot of the backstory between her and Varun was rushed, so it made it hard to understand why she kept clinging on their relationship.

Well. It was an interesting skim. Kinda guessed early on what was going to happen. But felt that Varun was a bit cheated out of having her 100% loyalty. After all she loved him first. It was just a strange book. It wasn't profound.

The book literally was breathtaking
Beginning was just soo cute but I middle it got literally complicated, like I really wanted Raj to stay instead of varun in myra's life.
