I have met the enemy…
With Jason Wolfe’s ragtag team of monster hunters hardening into a lethal unit, they’re ready to roll. And not a moment too soon.
In the wilds of northern Canada, something is stalking humans and leaving a trail of scattered remains. The team arrives, armed for mayhem. But how to handle an arrogant client, not to mention a killer that can’t be tracked?
Meanwhile, Jason faces an inner test. His wolf nature, awakened by the vast, rugged landscape, yearns to break from the human mind tethering it. A struggle made more dangerous by Nadie, an alluring shifter intent on claiming the Blue Wolf for her mate.
With a winter storm pounding in, can Jason hold onto his command, his teammates, and his devotion to his fiancée?
Brad Magnarella writes urban fantasy for the same reason most read it – to explore worlds where magic crackles from fingertips, vampires and shifters walk city streets, cats talk (some excessively), and good prevails against all odds. It’s shamelessly fun.
His three main series, Prof Croft, Blue Wolf, and Maddy Deeds, make up the growing Croftverse, with nearly a half-million books sold to date and an Independent Audiobook Award nomination.
Hopelessly nomadic, Brad can be found in a rented room overseas or hiking America's backcountry.

Another fantastic journey with the Blue Wolf and team. This time, the team goes up against werewolves, or so they are led to believe. Something is killing people in Canada. Large scratches left in cabin doors lead the team on the hunt. But, the scratches are bigger with each kill. What are they really up against? Great characters, exciting searches, and lots of mystery. I am sad that I have to wait for the next book. This is a fantastic series!
Pleasantly surprised by pace of the the third installment of Brad Magnarella’s Blue Wolf series, I read continuously until the story was complete. Good character development and exploration of some of their flaws makes for well rounded believable personalities who have supernatural foes and situations to overcome.
I’m glad the author has taken a diversion from the Everton Croft path to introduce us to the Blue Wolf.
This book didn't provide enough to shift the narrative and pull me forward. I didn't see any development from book 2 to make this book worthwhile as a continuing narrative. I was hoping for a deeper thread to pull things along which is done in some of the Croft books.
This 2 nd assignment took the team to another dimension one more time. The encounters with the client, his team and the people from the town, added so much depth to the story. The story went from bad to worse, keeping you wondering if this assignment would be a success or a bust. The Blue Wolf almost lost himself in the process of rescuing his coo worker and his client’s girlfriend. But his team brought his back around so the assignment ended up a success.
This was a good one. The characters are more well developed in this outing than they were in book two, and their actions make a great deal more sense. The sudden addition of a psychic connection between the main character and other werewolves is a little strange, but still fits within the nature of this world. The mystery was well thought out (even though I figured out some of what was going on before the big reveal) and the way that the characters come to their conclusions is entirely reasonable. I strongly suggest that people read this book.
I very much enjoyed this 3rd book in the Blue Wolf series. Author Brad Magnarella is doing an excellent job in developing his characters, advancing his plot and creating an exciting story. There are some questionable aspects of the main character, a cursed man/wolf, but Brad manages to keep him believable and relatable. The overall story held my interest with well paced action, information and dialogue. It is a very enjoyable read.
This book had a slow start but a very good finish. After reading some of of the other reviews of my favorite books I normally feel like a hack writing a review, but who cares... I really enjoyed this book (like all the previous ones in the series) and can highly recommend it to anyone who enjoy stories with suspense, action, guns, deceit and all that wonderful stuff.
I came into the Blue Moon books through Magnarella's first series, Professor Croft, but these stories are a fun addition to the world and mythos. The Blue Moon books appeal to those who enjoy the more military side of Urban Fantasy, but the author clearly has military experience and uses it to good effect in telling these stories. If you're into Urban Fantasy built around a framework of military order and teamwork, I recommend these books highly.
Jason and the team next assignment takes them to Canada, where a rich man's girlfriend is the latest in disappearing. Hampered by the Rich man's including himself in the mission. They have their hands full, as it turns out the target isn't the right one. One action after another will keep you turning the pages to see how each ends. A Must read.
Jason has ten more months to serve with Centurion before earning his cure. The group's second mission takes them to a small town in Canada where there have been several grisly murders and another woman is missing. The group gets another lesson in teamwork as all their abilities are required. Early on I suspected who and what the killer was, and I was right on one count but wrong on the other
Great series! This book flowed nicely from one scenario to another. The team merged into a well functioning unit with each member striving to overcome his/her personal "issues". I particularly enjoyed the portrayal of the monster, it was epic. Well worth reading.
This third installment of the series left me wanting more. Jason Wolfe is an easy character to relate too. The whole team is beautifully meshed together. Cant wait till books four and five. Thank you Brad.
This is a great novel all on its own. When combined with the others in this series it becomes even better. This series has great action, characters and sinister villains. Grabbing the next book now.
The author reminds us that team cohesiveness is Paramount in surviving a mission. This team is still getting its bearings & coming together quite effectively. The military edge combined with the more obscure paranormal elements are handled by the author well.
Once again loved this book! Very action packed with lots of different entities other than the main one. Each book gets better and better. Can't wait for the next!
I've read all 3 of these books and I'm excited about the next book, the story kept me hooked and I felt as if I were in the story, can't wait to read more.
Loved this book!! We keep getting to know more and more about the team and it's great! This took a big turn I wasn't seeing and it was great. Bring on the next one!!
