The story doesn't end with the fall of the beanstalk.
The magic golden harp is much more than she appears, holding tight to a a secret involving betrayal and intrigue at the grandest court in the land. With Lady Johanne's fate still uncertain, Alois and Sulat must uncover the truth, and stop a daring heist set to take place during the biggest event of the decade--the royal wedding. But there's more riding on the race to the palace than the crown jewels: the fate of the princess hangs in the balance.
Will they make it before it's too late, for her and Johanne?
Golden is the kind of story you can't put down once you start reading it. If you like fairy tale retellings with fun twists and great characters, you'll love Golden.
Another whirlwind of adventure and intrigue! I absolutely adore the world Avon has created, and the wonderful characters who live in it.
I loved the way their personal development happened, even in the short time span of the book. And of course, Alois and Sulat's strong friendship, Alois not letting her get away with keeping herself shut out ❤️❤️❤️
I'm looking forward to perhaps seeing what Sothiyya is really up to, and what fate has given to Ydrae.
All in all, a fantastic read that makes it hard to put down!
