AMAZING, Gritty and romantic despite the danger, suspense, and steamy stuff. Another MUST-BUY!
If you are into MC or Mafia Romances at all, you’ve heard about the arrival of author Nina Park. If you haven’t, then you should. EVERY novel she has offered as an e-book on AMAZON has been superb! Well-written, character-driven, hard-hitting, and entertaining to the max, the three novels in Park’s “Guns and Glory” series have been as different as night is to day and totally amazing. They are not for the faint of heart or those inclined to like “clean” romances, nor should anyone under the age of 18 apply for a permit. Nina Park writes in a way that makes this reader think about life from a different angle, a different, yet thought-provoking point of view. Not only has this reader fallen in love with most of the characters, including Madeline and Nikolai from “BROKEN,” I suspect that I have fallen in love with the way that Nina Park writes. So, I’ll be buying anything she offers, and volunteering to read ARC copies as long as she is offering new titles. There are only 5 other authors I can say that about but after 60 years of reading and nearly 40 years of reviewing, I know talent when I see it. Nina Parks is a VERY talented author, and “BROKEN,” her latest novel, is a great place to begin or continue reading what she publishes. I could go on-and-on with my enthusiastic praise, but I want to avoid giving away any of the GREAT twists in this one. So instead, know that I volunteered to read “BROKEN,” and this is my honest 5+STAR review. I STRONGLY suggest you purchase your copy of “BROKEN,” today! Happy pages! 😉

If you’re into contract killers and virgins as your main characters, this book will hook you from page one. “Broken” throws you right into the dangerous, magnetic world of Nikolai who is a cold, efficient hitman with ties to the Russian mob, and Madeline who is the sheltered young woman whose life collides with his in the most explosive way.
It’s got all the hallmarks of a guilty-pleasure dark romance: danger, heat, morally gray decisions, and just enough tenderness to make you root for a man who probably has blood on his hands. I loved how quickly the tension built between them!
It’s short and addictive, the kind of book you inhale in one sitting. The pace means some of the emotional depth is skimmed over, but it still left me invested and ready to grab the next part immediately.
Bottom line: if you like your romance intense, a little dangerous, and impossible to put down, Broken is absolutely worth the ride!!

BROKEN
I really loved this story. The more I read this authors work the more I really like it. This is definitely the best book, for me, out of this series so far. The storyline was very entertaining and filled with action, violence, drama, and romance. From the start of this story it drew me in and kept my interest. I loved the characters. Nikolai and Madeline are so different but they just seem to work. Without a doubt, from the beginning of this story their chemistry and connection are plain to see. Loved this book. A very enjoyable read. A copy was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book with my honest opinion.

A very entertaining, dangerous, suspense filled with action, violence, drama, romance, and very steamy sex. The storyline is so well written and enticing that it grabbed me from the begining till evey word was read. Madeline and Nikolai are so different. Nikolai is a hitman for the Russian mob. Madeline is an artist and a hard worker and going to school. They meet at a bar having a one night stand that she ends up pregnant from. When dealing with that delima her brother comes to her running from the mob who happens to be Nikolai which puts her in danger. It is an amazing exciting addicting must read. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC.
