I struggled writing this review as there are not enough words to describe just how much I love this story and how deeply Branch and Ragan have touched my heart and soul. I have truly fallen in love with them and may never get over the hangover that this book has given me.
Salvaged Hearts is book two of the No Longer Broken Series by Lilly Wilde and it is so incredibly emotional and deep that I was not only rendered speechless, I felt it deep in the pit of my stomach. There were several times I had to stop reading because I either couldn't see the words through my tears or my body was shaking with so much rage I couldn't continue. The injustice Ragan experienced literally made me want to jump in the pages and hurt someone. The loneliness and loss Branch endured pulled me to offer him hugs and comfort although I knew it was Impossible to do so. From Book one we learned of the struggles that Branch and Ragan fought through and the walls that they put up to protect themselves. I was gutted by all that Ragan endured, and her fight for survival endeared her to me. The walls we saw of these broken souls in Shattered Beginnings start to gradually fall in Salvaged Hearts. From circumstances that broke their hearts and mine, Branch and Ragan form a bond that grows into a friendship neither of them understand, one that places a smile on your face and a warmth in your heart.
Lilly has given us not only a love story that can change the stars, she has given us characters that we will never be able to forget!! Jimmy, Loretta, Hayley, Jace, Mary, Curtis, and Carrie have added depth and humour to the story in a way that you are pulled so completely into their lives, you never want it to end. I have never felt so many different emotions in one book, one minute I was laughing and yelling “you go girl” and other times I was seeing red and wanting to slap someone in the face. I was emotionally exhausted yet utterly invested in their lives and when it all came to an end I had completely and utterly fallen in love!!!

Emotionally Beautiful!!
This is book 2 of the No Longer Broken duet and the continuation of Branch and Ragan's stories. After reading book 1, I tried to imagine what book 2 would entail. Well, let me just say that Lilly Wilde blew my ideas out of the park with this amazing conclusion. I was glued to the pages and wondering what would happen next. Each chapter was like a surprise of excitement, not always the positive kind. It still blows my mind that Ragan is so strong and tries to stay positive. I just couldn't imagine all the things being thrown at her and still being able to see the good. I loved seeing the changes happen in Branch; as a person, as a caregiver, as a football player, even as the 'player' façade he is trying to keep. There were many times when I just loved him to death, but there were also times that I wanted to punch him and ask him 'what the hell are you thinking'!?! There were moments in this book that I got so pissed and had to stop reading for a few minutes to compose myself. There were many tears shed as well. But there were also lots of laughs, smiling, and warm-fuzzy feelings. Let me just say....THAT ENDING WAS AMAZING, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Lilly Wilde has given us another EPIC story with this Duet. Every one of her books feels real, I feel like I can relate to them and the characters. I love that! I cannot wait to see what amazing story she will blow us away with next!

This book is the epic conclusion to Shattered Beginnings. Page after page is a roller coaster of emotions. I laughed, swooned, cried, screamed and admittedly tossed my kindle.
As you continue on the journey with Ragan and Branch, you'll be filled with so many emotions. The strength that Ragan shows. After everything life has thrown her way. A lot of people couldn't endure all shes been through, yet she pushes on. She may have a moment of weakness but who doesn't. But with Branch giving her the support she needs...she thrives.
And Branch...the transformation in him. Seeing him evolve from a self centered, egotistical asshole to a man who generally cares for Ragan and her wellbeing. A man who at one point, besides his family, didn't give a shit about anyone else. To see him put her above his wants. Wow.

Salvaged Hearts by Lilly Wilde: Book 2 of The No Longer Broken Duet.
After reading the first book of this duet, I had very high expectations for the conclusion. I can honestly say without hesitation that not only were they met but they were ABSOLUTELY EXCEEDED! I do not think it is possible to love Salvaged Hearts, with its characters and the extraordinary story telling any more than I do.
The author did not take the easy way out and soften the story from the gut punching emotional fare of the first book. No, instead we are made to lean into the pain, carrying the weight of their emotional wounds and experiencing the fallout that has echoed throughout their lives, as well as the determined fight to overcome it all, right alongside of them.
Irrespective to all of the crap life has thrown at them, they have found a way to be vulnerable with one another. The resilience of these characters is awe inspiring! Ragan is still my hero. She has a beautiful spirit and is the kind of woman I aspire to be! Branch, though he plays the aloof tough guy, he is just as hurt and unsure of himself. He covers it with bravado and cockiness, but it is there all the same. Watching this enticing dance with one step forward and three steps back as they try to figure it all out… It is both endearing and maddening at the same time! I love that these two characters have their ups and downs, it isn’t instant, and it isn’t formulaic… it just feels …real. It isn’t a race to become a couple, as much as it is two friends who are there for each other while they heal from loss, disappointment, and denial as they make the journey forward.
I experienced every emotion possible, sometimes several times over within the span of a single chapter! The twists and unexpected moments just added to the already rich storyline, drawing me in as a reader until the very last page. In fact, there is such a strong pull in this story that it hooks you from the get go and relentlessly drives you onward to the conclusion, leaving the reader feeling spent as if you’ve just lived several years of life all at high speed and in a matter of hours! And just like in book one I found myself trying to slow down, to draw it out, savor each page because I simply did not want it to come to an end! This book has gone beyond telling a traditional love story, it is a story that shows the importance of learning to love oneself, allowing others to see the broken parts and piecing them together with their own to create something stronger! They’ll always be the characters that I can’t stop thinking about.

Salvaged Hearts shows Branch and Ragan can be more than there Shattered Beginnings. I loved this book because we get to see Ragan’s strength and love for life. She refuses to let her past or even her current situation stop her. Where Branch let himself become vulnerable and let himself feel for another. They both had ups and downs in this book the emotions were all over but they were somehow always where they needed to be. I loved this story again Lilly did not disappoint!!

In this conclusion to Branch and Ragan’s story, you experience a myriad of emotions for the pair. Pain and betrayal to excitement and joy. Book two delves further into their pasts and brings all those flaws to light. Happiness appears on the horizon and then unexpected turns and revelations leave you reeling and in shock. Desperation flowed from me as I tried to piece together what I thought would occur next, only to be completely blown away by the reality. Well written and detailed. Branch and Ragan’s chemistry leaps from the pages and leaves you rooting for their HEA. Lilly crafted a great bond between these two. Broken and battered, but never out of the fight. Good read and I can’t wait for what’s next!

Salvaged Hearts is the second book of the No Longer Broken duet and the continuation of Branch and Ragan's stories. Book 1 left my mind reeling as to what would happen in Salvaged Hearts and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Reagan has a strength and determination I so admire. Branch, well lera just say I have a love hate relationship with him. This book will keep you feeling and thinking and pondering and wondering 'what in the hell is he/she thinking '. This book worth it all.
Lilly Wilde has given us another mind blowing story with this Duet. ALL of her books have amazing story lines and characters that have real depth. I love that! I cannot wait to see what gives us next.

wow this book was great! he is a popular guy who can have any woman he wants. she is single mother trying to make ends meet. some how these two are brought together. was only going to be one night but he wants more and he doesnt do that. you must read this amazing story!

To say that I was super anxious waiting for this book is an understatement. I was super excited, curious and eager to start reading.
You see, when you read the first book in a duet it can go in two ways. First you'll love it and can't wait for the next one and second you love it. Seriously, with this lady it can't go wrong.
Lilly Wilde is the amazing author behind this series. Her writing is raw and intense with so much feelings between each chapter. Just grab her books and see for yourself.
Salvaged Hearts is her latest release and it's the second book from the No Longer Broken duet. It's imperative that you read Shattered Beginnings because these series is not a standalone.
This new book keeps telling us the stories of Branch and Ragan.
As you know, if you don't go read the first book, the first book ended in a way that made the scream my head off.
So good, so amazing, so intense... Each chapter... Dayum.
Superb plot, very well written, super engaging and intense. I'm still shaking...
The interaction between the characters is so real and intense that made me love them even more. Despite the stubbornness that surrounds these two, they share a great chemistry and in the end...
There were parts of the book that I wanted to hurt someone really bad but there were others that I wanted to hold them close and promise better days.
Once I started to read this book I simply couldn't put it down. I couldn't because the need to know more almost drove me insane.
This story presented us with love, loyalty, family, dreams but it had also given us deceive, pain, abuse and secrets.
How can you move forward when your past keeps pushing you down?
The themes explored in this book are what we have just around the corner.
I'm so happy for the opportunity to read this duet and I want more.

As usual, another amazing book from Lilly Wilde! After reading Shattered Beginnings I couldn't wait to read this book, but of course I did have to wait. It was definitely worth the wait! Ragan and Branch are two characters I fell in love with in the previous book, but now I am even more in love with them. Ragan overcame so much throughout her childhood and as an adult. No one should have to suffer the way Ragan did. She didn't let it bring her down though. She fought for everything she had, which wasn't much, but enough for her and her daughter. She became the mother that she wished she had. She is truly a hero, and a friend I'd like to have. Branch is a player on and off the football field, and is used to getting any girl he wants. He still can't believe he has to work so hard to get Ragan to like him. Their chemistry is extremely hot, but is it enough for Ragan to take a chance on Branch? She's been hurt before and can't risk her heart and her daughter's. Is Branch really interested in her, or is she just a notch on his bed post? Can she finally get the fairytale she deserves? I really loved everything about this book, even when I wanted to slap Branch at times. He definitely redeemed himself to me, and of course to Ragan. I loved watching Branch become a better person than the cocky jock he once was. I admit I wanted more when it ended, but then again I always want more from Lilly Wilde. I can't wait to read her next book!

When you already have a favorite series and you don’t think anything else can even come close, BAM! Lilly Wilde threw a wrench into my favorites! This book absolutely positively blew me away. After reading the 1st one I was more than excited to get to dive into this profounding story. I was hit with a huge blanket of emotions with this one. Hate, anger, sadness, Love, happiness, excitement, worry. I can’t even explain. The butterflies and goosebumps and tears I will remember forever. Branch and Ragan are both so strong and determined. It was breath taking. There’s no way I am going to be able to read anything else! Thank you Lilly for writing such amazing books.

This book was everything to me! I was hooked from page one I love Branch and Ragan they both have troubled pasts that they are trying to overcome! This story hit every emotion inside me I admit I read alot of books and it takes alot for me to feel butterflies and it gave me that and tingles, tears, anger, happiness everything! I loved every word from this story I couldnt wait until this story came out and it couldnt be more perfect I'm so happy I got to read it such beautiful work!!

After listening to Shattered Beginnings, I couldn't wait until this released. I needed to finish my journey with Ragan and Branch. Lilly Wilde gives us emotionally charged hours of enjoyment with this series.There is so much to find closure in during this second book, and every question was answered. Ragan's life has been nothing but tragedy after tragedy, and finally she finds the one person who can help turn her life around. It takes a lot not only to find that one person, but to believe in yourself. After what she endures in this installment, it's satisfying to see her reach some goals and find the life that she is meant for. Branch has some life changing moments, needing to figure out how to settle his past and work towards his future. Wilde has masterfully woven these two together. The feelings are genuine, and will reach into your heart. With the subject of abuse being forefront in so many capacities, her compassionate writing makes us much more aware of what happens to others. I loved Branch and Ragan's story.
The narration is key to this duet. The team of Aaron Shedlock and Melissa Moran is flawless. Shedlock brings in his amazing voices for the many characters, but what stands out for me is his ability to make Branch both frustrating and compassionate. With just a change in tone, the cockiness is there and can turn to loving and warm in the next. He captured the essence of the character perfectly. Moran is amazing as Ragan. This complex woman has to endure so much, and Moran gives her strength, wit and perseverance in her delivery. It is an amazing compilation.

Salvaged Hearts is the epic, highly emotional conclusion to the No Longer Broken Duet. At this point as I sit and write this review I am speechless. Lilly Wilde has delivered a story that has left me with no words because to say this story is stunningly beautiful is an understatement. I feel that any word I use to describe the story doesn't do it justice. When a book pulls you into the pages and you experience what the characters are not only experiencing but feeling, you know that this book is an absolute knockout.
I continued to be surprised by the strength of character that Ragan displays. For a woman who has suffered as much as she has and is still able to not only get out of bed but to actually be able to still be a good person is astounding! I cannot praise this character enough, she has been knocked back down time and again by people who should love her, frankly I am in awe of her. Her journey to the end is not an easy one and her troubles are far from over but man oh man it is a ride that is not to be missed.
Branch, what can I say about him. There were times I wanted to kiss him and times were I could have killed him! His journey is one of self exploration denying his ability to grow and change, still using his playboy facade as body armour to protect himself. His story was filled with twists and turns that challenge him but oh my god when you get to the end HOLY MOLY YOU WILL DIE!

My Heart was left wanting more... I can't believe its over!
So, I just finished reading this amazing story about Branch & Ragan and I enjoyed both books immensely, but I have to say that after reading the Untouched series I wanted and expected so much more! I was just like OMW, OMW, OMFW... These can't be "The End of this story... It just can't!" My heart was happy, my heart was sad, my heart was smiling, my was excited and my heart was left wanting so much more! Its like, I know this is "The End, but it can't be because I want & need so much more from this story! So, right now I am pledged with an unbelievable choice to make after reading this remarkable love story... Do I want more Aiden or Branch as Author Lilly Wile asked her readers in her "The Lillies Group" on Facebook and I am totally "dumbfounded" because I love the Untouch Series, but at this very important I just totally need Lilly Wilde and I am begging for her and pleading for her to "PLEASE FINISH THIS STORY BECAUSE I JUST CAN'T & WON'T BELIEVE THAT THIS IS THE END... I JUST CAN'T BE THE END OF BRANCH MCGUIRE & RAGAN PRESCOTT'S STORY... PLEASE PLEASE NOOOOOOOO!" Salvaged Hearts By Lilly Wilde : book 2 of the No Longer Broken duet
This book thoroughly gutted me and put me back together again piece by piece. The depth of these characters and their lives is truly amazing. They draw you in and you can’t help but feel every emotion possible from simply reading this book. Their backstories and their growth from book 1, Shattered Beginnings, to where they are now is staggering. Ragan is such a remarkably strong woman who’s fought some of life’s toughest battles yet perseveres, always remaining positive. She’s definitely who I thrive to be one day. Branch is the arrogant, sexy, egotistical star football player who exhibits strength and self pride but by peeling back the layers the author reveals that he’s simply human and does experience moments of self doubt too. Making him a stronger, more refined character. I loved Branch, yet I got so angered by him at times. Almost throwing my kindle into the wall several times. Everybody needs somebody on their side sometime or another and these characters found a friend in each other. I had several thoughts about which way I thought Lilly would take the story but was wrong almost every time. Every question I was left with after book 1 was answered in an unimaginable way in Salvaged Hearts. What an epic conclusion to this truly amazing story! The ending was fantastic! I can’t wait to see what awesomeness Lilly Wilde has in store for us next.

This review is hard for me to write, I find my words can not do proper praise for all that Lilly put into this book! These characters have so much depth it’s hard for me to describe but in this case the scars from their pasts can not compare to the strength that Ragan and Branch both find in themselves. The character growth from Shattered Beginnings to Salvaged Hearts is incredible! I have never come across any other books out there that can never give me the joy, fear, hate, compassion and absolute elation at the accomplishments of the characters as I watch them grow! Branch definitely comes across as the cocky as all Professional Athlete who uses women for his pleasure but Branch has lifetime of experiences that have made him the way he is. Watching Branch grow and evolve in these books has been the highlight of many of my days! Lilly Wilde is ‘the make you feel everything Author! I laughed, I cried, I cheered. There were many times I wanted to throw my kindle across the room or just slap one of these characters in the head and tell them to open their eyes! Bravo Lilly Wilde! I know every time I open one of your books I will truly be invested in your characters lives feeling like I am right there with them and like I’m experiencing everything they are! 5 stars are really not enough. I feel like you also lost your heart to these characters.

This is the continuation of Ragan and Branch’s story. Ragan is a struggling single mom and Branch is the king of Quarterbacks. He, with a seemingly fairytale life and she, a waitress who can’t seem to catch a break. they’re two people with completely different lives, both trying to overcome real life issues.
Lilly has finished this duet with a masterpiece!! Never before has a book pulled so many emotions out of me!!! One minute I’m happy, the next I’m angry and then crying!!! Like ugly crying!!! I’m in love with this story! And these characters!!!
I fell in love with Ragan. I could feel her strength and pure will to go on and give her child the best she could. Her perseverance when life kept smacking her in the face had me cheering for her from my couch!!! And Branch, I’ll admit some of his struggles had me yelling at him from my couch!!! But his generosity and love shown through and before I knew it, I had fallen madly in love with him!!! And believe me by the end of this book you’ll be in love too!!!
I can’t say I’m surprised that Lilly Wilde has again left me with a book hangover like no other!! Her words have a way of getting not only in your head but in your soul!! You end up loving the characters like family!! Thank you Lilly!!!

Branch McGuire will melt your heart with his southern mannerisms and sweetness. His pragmatism is exuberantly brash and playful. I absolutely loved every time he called Ragan "Sugar" and the witty banter between Branch and Ragan. Main and supporting character's are scripted with acuity & a myriad of contrasting personalities. I love the sports tidbits with the electricfying football game showcasing NFL's Man on Fire Branch McGuire. A superfluous of astonishing twists that will hit like ton of bricks. Grab your tissues & prep for your crying fest as tears drop down your face. The end was polished off in a way that their journey ends with happily ever after. I love how Lilly Wilde builds her characters and makes you live with them their past, present and hope their future too.
Salvaged hearts was a most anticipated book. I longed for the continuation of the story from Shattered beginnings. Two shattered lives brought together by fate, we get to know the how and the why. I had goosebumps throughout the book! I felt so many raw emotions for Ragan, and her life as it unfolded through the years. I cried for Branch and his struggles. The characters are so vividly explained and build that you feel as if you knew them your whole life. I keep going back to re-read it because I do not want it to end.
Lilly Wilde is an amazing writer. She has a gift to make you live the story and make the characters feel like life long friends! This is a rare and unique characteristic of a brilliant writer. Her creativity and story telling combined makes amazing readings that you cannot put down.

Mind blown!!!!! Holy hell Lilly Wilde, you have literally shattered my heart with this series and then slowly put it back together again in Salvaged Hearts!!!! I never thought a book could do to me emotionally what this book has done!!!! I was completely lost in the words that you wrote!! All the heartache and pain, all the joy and excitement and all the hope and enthusiasm that each character felt I felt right along with them. I cried and I cried, I laughed, I felt so much rage I couldn’t think straight and I loved..... I loved Branch and Ragan so much it hurt!!!! It hurts now that the story had ended. What an ending it was though!!!!!! The ending made me think I could live in the world of Branch and Ragan forever. When two people form such a beautiful, breathtaking and loving connection from the hurt and sorrow of their tortured childhoods it’s going to be epic!! This book was epic!!! Lilly Wilde, you are EPIC!!!!

The life of Ragan was really a shitty one. A mother who was no good, a drug addict, a father who didn’t care, then a rotten step- mother who enjoyed beating her on a daily basis and then kicking her out of the house. Her husband was no peach either, abusive to her until she decided to leave, only to return to return to a home she hated to go back to. Working at a diner she hated but needing the money to support her daughter. And in walks in Branch McGuire, the handsome, egotistical football player who she’s had a crush on since high school. They have a past but one he doesnt remember. Years later at a party they are playing a game, Branch and Ragan get together. Here’s where their lives change. This book is so good. It is funny, sexy, hot, keeps the reader interested, and gives you hope that everything will work out for the best for both of them. I hated to see it end. I loved it. 🥰

Ragan and Branch's story continues. After reading book one, I wanted so much from this book, and Lilly Wilde does not disappoint. The many questions that I had from the ending of book one were answered in book two. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed every last minute of Ragan and Branch's story, and you will too. The struggles that they have suffered. The decisions that they have made to come back from a past that could have brought them down and made it so they could not overcome. The friendship that they develop by getting to know each other. The openness of their discussions. Even though Branch was a prayer, and he treated women as a means to get off and then toss to the side, he couldn't treat Ragan the same. For some reason, she was different, and he fights the good fight with that. The loss that both of them have suffered. There is just so much in this book. And although their story is over, I would love to see more of them in future books.

Wow! I have been waiting to read this book and it was so totally worth the wait! It is so heartbreakingly beautiful and it takes you on this rollercoaster of emotions that, at times, you want are afraid that you are going to fall off of. However, you continue to hold on for dear life because you know that the ending will be more than worth it. It is so wonderfully written that I felt like I was actually a part of Branch and Ragan's story. You definitely want to grab a copy of this book but be prepared! It gets a little bumpy at times, has many twists and turns but by the end it will bring a smile to your face!

This book made me laugh, cry and be mad at the same time, lol! This story involves an arrogant football player and a headstrong woman and how they keep crossing paths. As a follow up to Shattered Beginnings, this story gives you a deeper look into who these characters are and what they are about. I loved how the characters evolved from the first book and how I was drawn deeper into the emotion that was portrayed. I loved the twists and turns that held my attention the whole way through! Lilly Wilde is an AMAZING Author and has once again pulled me in with sensational writing skills. I highly recommend this book to everyone!! If you liked Shattered Beginnings, you will LOVE Salvaged Hearts!!

Wow. This book was so much more then I expected. I love it. I couldn't read fast enough. Branch McGuire was more then I thought he would end up being. The turn of events this book took me on. Had lots of surprises in it with the turn of events that happened. Lilly Wilde really did another amazing job with this duet. I'm sad it ended. I want more. Anyways I really loved it. Love all the characters and I highly recommend to read both Shattered Beginnings and Salvaged Hearts. (The No Longer Broken Duet).

Wow, what an amazing story. I was hooked from the start. Lilly Wilde is an exceptional writer, shes keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I fell in love with Ragan, all that she has been through in her life and what she has overcome. I really connected with her story because I have been through something similar. Branch will make you love and hate him at the same time. You could sense the amazing connection between Branch and Ragan, I loved their banter. This story is a must read. You will not be disappointed.
