For years we've struggled to find a good book for our bible study. With such a variety of women in different times of life, it was difficult to find a book that would be a balance of not being too light or too dense with good discussion questions and commentary (so you can help lead without being a biblical scholar!).
This book has it all. For moms who work or stay at home, older or younger women, this book has been a great find. Our groups always have great discussion with the questions and the commentaries lend great insight and perspective. It has presented Philippians with a new light. Can't wait to start another At His Feet studies!

As always, I appreciate the labor Hope and Christine put into their studies. They are some of my favorites to do on my own and with groups.

I’m walking through this study with some women from my church and we found that a few of the questions weren’t as helpful for group discussion because they asked you to examine specific conflicts within your local church. We simply chose to skip those.

Aside from that, it’s a good study that I’d recommend. And as always, you can go even deeper by adding in your own prep and study time.

Good Bible study book. I enjoyed the reflection and application questions, and the way they included history and culture from that time. I would definitely like to read more of their studies.

I really enjoyed this book! We used it in a Women's Sunday school class and it was great for a 45 minute class. I did the lesson each week on my own and used some of the observation and discussion questions each week. The commentary section was especially helpful. I liked the way they divided up each week's passage. It worked perfectly for what we needed and I think our women were encouraged and challenged by it. I will definitely use an At His Feet study again!

Simple, accessible study on Philippians. Short and concise summaries and I really appreciate all of historical information they provide. I did not like all of the questions and some honestly are (in my opinion) not great for group discussion. Still really enjoyed it and would do other studies in this series if I’m looking for something that isn’t very time consuming but still rich in wisdom.

I really loved this study. It's so short and easy to do. It taught me a lot about Philippians. It made me love God more and made me want to memorize this entire book! I want to do their other studies ASAP!

I have really enjoyed it. It was easy to follow and each study isnt too long, so its perfect for a busy schedule. Each study has been very encouraging and convicting at the same time. Somehow each study has coincided to the things I have been going through each week and has been a great help.

This one is a little tough for me to review. I liked the format and simplicity of the study, and appreciate what the authors are aiming for in these studies. I enjoyed participating in a group study using it, and learned a lot from the discussion. I did struggle with some of the questions, though- some seemed a little unclear or odd for answering in a group setting. I also would have liked to see more varied references (maybe from some older commentaries?). Overall, I would recommend, though, and am open to trying another one of the studies in the series.
