Drew & Brooklyn.
I wanted to rated this trilogy a little low but I just felt that it's a 4 deserving stars for my heartache and tears, lol but honestly Drew and Brooklyn's final book really had me hating them both. It just felt too dragged on for me and in all this story I adored the girls and most of all Wes, yes I'm a traitor and have to say that Wes owned this book.

Disappointed.
The novella set up a story that I was hopeful for. I thought for sure this would be a great 2nd chance... I was soo wrong in believing this book would redeem the story. I was fooled by the title. Heroine was ridiculously immature and stupid (while the author called her stubborn) Hero was lame in his pursuit for the so called "love of his life"
I should've DNF but because of the money I spend I skimmed 60%
Waste of my time and money.
There was absolutely no redemption of any kind.

I hate second part stories but I did love part one and I almost missed part 2. I didn't.
I loved these characters. The premise is hard to believe but nonetheless it's a story of passion and pain.

This review is for an ARC and is my unbiased, honest opinion.
This is book two in the Redemption series. You must read book one, Commitment, first. I also highly recommend reading the prequel, Promise, because it adds a lot to the series.
At the beginning of the book I struggled to root for Brooklyn to be with either Wes or Drew. There was always the promise of something great between either couple but there were so many obstacles in the way. I just got tired of the back and forth. Should she be with Wes or should she be with Drew? It felt like Brooklyn never had a moment to just pause and truly THINK about what she wanted. I feel she didn't want to take the time to figure things out because then she would have to confront her feelings. She just wasn't ready to do that for most of this book.
When I started reading the book, I felt like the trust would never be there with Drew for Brooklyn. She would never fully be able to move on from their past. Every time he’s late for whatever reason, I felt like she would jump to the wrong conclusion. Is it meant to be if it’s THAT difficult to be together?? How hard do you fight for someone who doesn’t seem to be fighting for you in return?
I don’t think Drew was necessarily a bad person. I just think that when you have people like Brooklyn in your life, people who give all of themselves fully, you start to take them for granted. You forget that they need the same love and dedication in return. I think that’s what happened to Drew. He cared for Brooklyn deeply but forgot to continue showing her how he felt. He forgot to continually be there for her, to be the one to hold her up and not just be the one always being lifted up.
Wes had his ups and downs as well. While he was consistent in his feelings for Brooklyn, he also had other priorities in his life. Work was a major part of Wes's life. He had a pretty significant weight on his shoulders while trying to balance taking over his father's company, dealing with his horrid mother, and his relationship with Brooklyn. I did think Wes was a great man and he deserved happiness too. I think he also took Brooklyn for granted at times.
The second half of this book blew my mind. This book brought me to tears on more than one occasion. I adore the author's writing and her ability to bring out such strong emotions in me. The speech one of the guys makes at the end was EPIC. I swooned SUPER hard while reading it. I highly recommend giving this series a try, you're bound to love it just as much as I did.

November 23, 2018My stupid ass didn’t realize this was a sequel but ended up starting it anyway. But minutes into the book I could already tell I was going to hate the heroine. The heroine told herself that she felt guilty because it seemed like cheating to fantasize about another guy when she was having sex with another.
Sweetie? It didn’t just “seem” like cheating? You are emotionally cheating, you stupid ass. What kind of question is that?! Zero brain cells.

Ugh! I was thoroughly disappointed. The plot dragged, was convoluted, became repetitive in the many intimate moments, and wasn't realistic in the kumbaya wrapping up of every storyline -- of which there were far too many. The characters were equally annoying, underdeveloped, inconsistent, indecisive, naive, and unfocused. I was completely put off by the overly-sweet "love conquers all if you forgive everyone who hurts you" and "everything in life happens for a good reason" tones that dominated the second half of the book. The ending bordered on being an inspirational trope more than the advertised happily ever after.
I usually like second chance romance stories, especially if flawed characters grow. These characters aren't much wiser or stronger than however they started out, recognizing their errors/flaws but relying on destiny to bring resolutions instead of truly taking charge of their lives. Drew's dance with Brooklyn was the epitome of putting passive acceptance over decisive action. I hated it. This story started out well in the first book but quickly went downhill in Redemption. Had I not cared to know the outcome for Alyssa and Charlotte, this would have been a DNF.

These 2 really the back and fourth like GROW UP say the truth , tell how you feel stop over analyzing it. That was the thing that drove me nuts. You have to let the past go to move on.. Finally they both spoke the truth and it didnt crush anyone and finally be able to move past the crap of the past
Brooklyn still so wishy washy still not sure if falling her heart is worth the risk or settle .I hated she just couldnt let it go it took her so long to just let it go.
Drew finally going after what he wants but still letting down the one person he wants. It broke my heart when he had to tell his daughters. Just horrible I couldnt imagine that pain. I glad he would do anything for them that just made you fall more in love with him. I hate he kept the secret so long he should of just said and I feel everything would of settled
Wes I felt bad for he actually loved her but His mother I would have cut her lol I want Wes to find someone to tell his mother off

Wow!! What a conclusion to a fantastical angsty series!!
The story continues with Brooklyn, Andrew and Wes. This story picks up right where the first one ends.
The fight and heartbreak the characters have to face and overcome is such a emotional rollercoaster. I could feel myself tearing up when I was reading. I was rooting for each of the main characters in this! The way that Ms. Leigh writes, I could feel and "see" how each of them were feeling and the happiness, love and sadness they experienced.
Unexpected characters will make an appearance, and oh what trouble they bring to the table!
Does true and lifelong love prevail? I'd like to say yes and no, because with every love triangle someone is hurt and I was sad to see it. I was happy to see that he will get his happily ever after in a future book!
Get your hands on this series! You will cry, you will laugh and you will cheer for all the characters. (Well except for some, those you will want to push of the nearest bridge!)

Wow this story. It starts right where the first one leaves off at. Has way more emotions like grab tissues. TK really out did herself with this one. Every page was different, like edge of your seat read, quick to turn the pages, can't get enough Drew and Brooklyn. The characters this time around are 10 times hotter and better. The banter that they all share is out of this world amazing and one you can't stop enjoying over and over again. This love story that surrounds the characters is one that's really enjoyable to fall head over heels in love with. All the ups and downs each character goes through is one in a million different than anything I have read about before and makes me coming back for more. The strength they use to over come all the heartache, love and more is truley out of this world amazing. MUST READ!!!

Does this duet end with a bang! I wanted to yell and scream but I also understood where Brooklyn was coming from. Being shattered over and over again, she cannot deny her heart. It broke me watching her and Drew with their tug of war that they had going on. Then there were these unexpected twist and turns that get thrown at both of them. Between Wes and his mother, Drew’s ex wife and ex fling throwing things at them, I am surprised at how things all played out. Will Brooklyn pick Drew or stay with Wes? That is the million dollar question! When things are told to Brooklyn, she has so much to consider!
Overall, this really was a story of Redemption. Not just for Drew and Brooklyn. With everything that was exposed, that love finds a way. I absolutely adored this duet from TK Leigh. Even though it is a lot lighter than some of her other stories, you still get some crazy moments that have you going WTF! I highly recommend this duet because it is unique and really makes you feel!

Brooklyn and Drew are still circling around each other. Still trying to make decisions. Still trying to figure out the future. Brooklyn especially since the big day is looming. Does she follow her heart or her head?
And Drew needs to figure things out too. With the big, complicated surprise that lands at his feet, he has a lot to think about and how that surprise just may change his life and his family.
Redemption wraps up this crazy, touch and go relationship between Brooklyn and Drew fantastically. I’m anxious to see what happens next in Possession—looks to be like some more fireworks! ~ Missy, 4 stars

What I loved about this book was that Brooklyn’s father told her the truth. It hurt but he needed to do it. Drew wouldn’t give up on Brooklyn. Quitting was not in his vocabulary. He knew he hurt her. It broke him, and he hoped she would give him a second chance. But it might not be enough since he broke his promise to her. He saw her but she was his sister best friend..things were not as easy back then. So he did what he thought was best he ran.
Will she play it a safe with her heart, or take a risk at it breaking again? One man she’s loved forever, but he’s never noticed her. The other man dotes on her. She loves them both in different way.

4.5 amazing stars!!
Wow! Whatta ending to this beautiful duet!! I was completely consumed by this story of love, friendship and soul deep bonds that stand the test of time. Redemption took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride that I had no desire to disembark from. I was hooked from page one and was a little sad that it had to come to an end.

I don’t think I have had this much anticipation for a book to come out as I had for this one. At the end of commitment I knew which way I wanted the story to go but of course Tk likes to throw some nice little twists and therefore I’ve come to kind of expect the unexpected with her, and knew I would have to just wait and see. WELL- oh man. Let me start by saying I loved these characters since I met them in Writing Mr. Right, and even more so with each book. Although I wish the outside forces working against them having a happy ever after just stop, lol. There are definitely some spots that made me like 👀 say what?? And plenty of laughs along the way. I think things go exactly as they should but I was left wanting more. I’ll just have to start back at the beginning... ps there is lots more I want to say but you will have to read it to see for yourself...

I received an advanced copy of this book with the promise of an honest review.
When the previous book ended, Brooklyn had a choice to make and we find out right away what that choice is. (BTW this is one thing that I really like about TK's writing. She may give us a cliffhanger, but it is usually resolved pretty quickly.) But of course things aren't as simple as they seem. (They never really are, are they?)
I love Brooklyn and Drew so much. It was clear from the start that these two belonged together. They truly loved each other, but past events kept getting in the way. And I'm not just talking about the events of the novella. Oh noooooooo. This book bring even more drama that was both heartbreaking and sad. Seriously y'all...I ugly cried at one point. It wasn't pretty...hence the ugly cry. haha. But to speak to what happened in the novella for a second...of course I would have preferred it if Brooklyn had found out the truth a lot sooner, but then we wouldn't have had all the lovely angsty stuff TK put us through. Another beautifully written story by T.K.
The entire duet centers around two things for me: Second chances, and the power of forgiveness.
I think those reading -who have a tendency to hold grudges- will have a lot to think about, and maybe even second guess some of the choices they've made.
Though not easy to give, forgiveness is powerful.
The beauty of this story was witnessing the effects it can have on not only yourself, but others around you.
If you're looking for a great new romance with all the feels: angst, turmoil, heartbreak, pain, love, forgiveness; look no further than this well written duet.

I think those reading -who have a tendency to hold grudges- will have a lot to think about, and maybe even second guess some of the choices they've made.
Though not easy to give, forgiveness is powerful.
The beauty of this story was witnessing the effects it can have on not only yourself, but others around you.
If you're looking for a great new romance with all the feels: angst, turmoil, heartbreak, pain, love, forgiveness; look no further than this well written duet.

I love all of T.K. Leigh's books and this one was no exception! This book was fast moving and fun and left the reader wanting more! Don't hesitate to add this one to your TBR list and add it now!!

5 Bursting Stars! This book consumed me. What an incredible story of friendship, love, promises and that ever lasting bond of a lifetime. This book is everything and more! Filled with angst and how far one will go in the name of love. You do not want to miss this series! I absolutely loved it and will keep these characters with me forever.

T.K. gives us an amazing conclusion to Brooklyn and Andrew's story! Waiting to find out which way Brooklyn went in her car was torture! Was she heading toward Drew, or heading back to Wes?
This time around, not only is Drew trying his hardest to get Brooklyn to believe how he feels about her, he's dealing with someone who has the power to blow his little family apart. Is Drew ever going to get a break? He just wants to raise his little girls, and an incredible job opportunity has landed in his lap. The icing on this cake would be to have Brooklyn by his side for it all.
Brooklyn couldn't figure out what she really, truly wanted. After so many years of constantly being disappointed by Drew, shouldn't she do the most logical thing and marry Wes? He's never broken a promise to her, he loves her and he's the safe bet. But when they are together, there is no spark there. He doesn't make her come alive. There's only ever been one man who has made her heart race and her skin tingle.
It is always rough for me to read about a love triangle. There's always one person who gets left behind, and when that person is truly a good person who deserves to find love, my heart always breaks for them in the end. Then I want the author to write a book for that person and make sure they get their happy ending too. I'm hoping T.K. will write their story too, I need it to make my heart feel better!

Wow, what can I say? I simply loved this series and was so excited to be chosen to be on T. k.'s ARC team! I have been reading her work for a long time. She is an extraordinary author with an outstanding talent.
This conclusion to this series is so good! Brook and Drew have been friends almost all their lives. So many twists and turns in their journey to their HEA! Love, marriage, family, happiness, sadness, laughter, children, and so much more! You have to read this series to find out.
Brook is so confused, but her love for Drew never wavers despite all the odds against her. Now Drew divorced with two little girls that he has sole custody of has his own personal problems. Will they overcome all their setbacks to find the happiness they deserve?
You will experience just about every emotion while reading this series. I read it in one night because I could not put it down! I felt like I was right there with them. I highly recommend reading this book because you will not regret it. I want more....

Emotional, intense and epically unpredictable! In this story that’s a very good thing!
After the jaw dropping ending in Commitment, Redemption couldn’t arrive fast enough. I have to thank the author for not keeping the readers waiting too long cause in my opinion that really affects the reading experience.
That said, this is NOT a standalone. You must read Commitment first before Redemption.
Additionally, this is not your typical second chance romance and these are not your typical characters.
Brooklyn is a tough independent and gives as good as she gets. But she’s also passionate, and she has so much heart! Her character continues to evolve and develop on this installment as we sit back and await her major decisions! There’s so much to these characters and their own personal struggles.
The author flawlessly brought these characters to life, giving them a voice, a depth and a drive that had me totally consumed by this story.

Angst, not kidding
These were the two most frustrating books I have ever read. two books could have been condensed into one. Brooklyn is either stupid or clueless. It’s a given that she is immature for a woman in her 30’s. And Drew is another adult child. Neither one can decide what they really want. And trust is non existent.
I understand misunderstandings in love but there was so much oscillating that I found myself losing patience. I had all to do to get through the second book.
I normally only read stand-alone books and I was surprised that I had to purchase a second book just to find it filled with more angst and frustration.
I must say that the final few chapters were quite nice but for me, it just was not what I like to read.

You do need to have read Commitment before diving into Redemption. This is a series that you will not regret investing your time in.
After reading the emotionally charged Commitment, I was unsure if my heart could take this final chapter in the Redemption series.
I really enjoyed reading Commitment but Redemption was even better for me. This conclusion is so emotional and angst filled and it made me cry. I do not cry easily but this book managed it. I really don't want to give too much away because this book should not be spoilt by an accidental spoiler.
Brooklyn has faced a crossroads and she chose the path less painful and this is phrased as 'Is security and safety more valuable than passion?' for me this is about so much more than passion. It is about choosing safety over love and the pain that loving someone who has let you down before may bring.
It is no spoiler to say that Brooklyn understandably shied away from the pain and chose safety and security. There are however some bonds that the safe route cannot break. Those are the bonds of lifelong love, friendship and family - be that family through blood or choice.
This story has that as the underlying emotional roller-coaster. Love, friendship, family, choice.
This truly is a tear-fest. It is an incredible ending to an outstanding series and I it really did reduce me to a tearful wreck. This is also a series that you want to get to the end of to see what happens but then you miss it when the last word is read.

I think another title should be second chances, or third or fourth or fifth..... You never forget your first love, your first everything. Brooklyn has loved Drew since she was a little girl but when he broke her heart 17 years ago she couldn't let that go. She never knew it was not his choice to leave her and as the years have gone by he has never told her the truth. Frustrating yes. It would explain everything to her. But he would not see her hurt and learn the only family she has left, her dad, is the one responsible. Her father felt that Drew was no good for her and even through the years and the tears she has shed and the heartbreak she has gone through her dad never revealed the truth. In his eyes if he did he would lose her. But their love was always there. Drew may have married Carla (and then divorced) and had Charlotte and Alyssa but he never got over his love for Brooklyn. Brooklyn may be engaged to Wes but does she really love him or is he a way of trying to forget Drew.
When T.K. writes you her characters never make it easy for you. Her stories are filled with love, heartbreak, frustration but always satisfaction that her characters will see through it all and find their way back to each other. The road is never easy but so worth it. It makes her stories so wonderful and beautiful. Yes there are often tears; tears of sadness, tears of heartache, and tears of joy and happiness. That is what separates her stories from the rest and what makes them the true treasures that they are.
When T.K. writes you her characters never make it easy for you.
