Rate this book
We left off with Mandy: The Order of the Crossbones barely surviving her romantic affair with Senator Thomas Woodward. Their torrid affair left Mandy wondering who to trust and Tom, putting her career and reputation in jeopardy.  Luckily for Mandy, the Crossbones sisters were able to convince her of the type of man Senator Thomas Woodward is.

Mandy left his campaign unscathed, and thanks to the Crossbones, landed a promotion as legislative director in Senator Branch of Pennsylvania's office.  We left off that she was about to begin a relationship with Jake.

Ashley: The Order of the Crossbones begins with a membership hearing, Ashley's membership hearing.  Ashley is facing disciplinary action and might be excommunicated from the Crossbones for her betrayal of a member. Ashley finds herself enthralled with the new Congressmen from Massachusetts, Patrick McKinney. Ashley could not escape his athletic physique, nor his east coast charm. When a fellow Crossbones member accuses Congressmen McKinney of sexual harassment, who will Ashley decide? Find out in the next installment of The Order of the Crossbones, Ashley.

Kore Rigel

Kore Rigel was named after the Greek goddess. In 2003, the name Kore became the name of a 2 kilometer moon of Jupiter. Her last name, which is coincidentally the name of the brightest star in Orion’s Belt, is Arabic in descent. Kore grew up loving the science-fantasy genre, and is a proclaimed science nerd.

Kore was born in Belfast, Ireland, and moved to the United States when she was a teenager. Her second love after science was reading romance novels. Being a citizen of the UK, she has a fascination with Stonehenge and the ancient druids.

Kore has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington in Political Science. She resides in Seattle with her husband and Pomeranian.

She loves trying new recipes out on her husband. As far as she knows, Pomeranians are the best dog breed in the world. Her dog, Winston, is the ultimate writing partner.

Lately, she has been attempting to focus on her health, and create low-fat recipes.

Kore frequents the Pike Place Fish Market, where she acquires fresh seafood for her nightly dinner. She spends most of her days writing, journaling, and hiking. She can be found at one of the many Seattle coffee shops developing one of her characters or story arcs.
