The Apostle Paul was pleased that the Philippian church partnered with him in ministry; we too can rejoice and enjoy gospel partnerships in our church. Paul was captivated with Jesus Christ, so much so, that he counted his own life as worthless compared to the infinite value of knowing Jesus Christ as Lord. Can we say the same? Yes, because of the gospel! The gospel is not only our rescue, but it orients our life in Christ. Since Jesus Christ has made us His own, we are free to live, not for ourselves but for Jesus Christ.
