Ginger Tea

Rate this book
Ginger Tea is a revised edition of a book put out in 2018. After reflecting and pulling her original book from the shelves, Nikki Howard, using the symbolic name of N. L. Byrd, has courageously put her heart on her sleeve for the entire world to see. Her poetry is a roller coaster of emotions, and the essays, letters, and small quotations turn Ginger Tea into an emotional tapestry of romance, mental health, and recovery. The book even includes a suicide letter. Her debut poetry collection is beautifully optimistic, uniquely dark, and overwhelmingly powerful. It is a great work of honest reflection and the portrayal of true heart break.

A beautiful write

This Poem sings to you as you breeze through the pages. You feel the writers love, happiness and devastation throughout the book.
It truly is beautifully written, once I started reading I couldn't stop.
It is a short book and some pages only have 2 lines but the meaning in those two lines is not lost.
I wish Nikki well with her English Degree with writing like this it will be a blast
