For the most part, I enjoyed this book. I would say first hand that it's good for girls 17/18+, but not really any younger age. Secondly, why I rated it three stars was because there was one or two instances that Ms. St. James used that I did not appreciate. Nothing absolutely horrible, but she could of used other instances quite easily and still proven her point. In fact, one of the instances slightly took away from my respect of her...

The second thing is that several times she gave the impression that you can be pure and still date. I believe that you cannot be pure and date- at least doing the world's system of dating. If it's more like 'dating for a purpose' or only dating a person when you're sure they are the one and you're wanting to get to know them better before you're engaged, perhaps that's different. Perhaps she says it this way because the people reading the book are used to that...none the less, this book was not as good as it could be. I would more easily recommend "Before you Meet Prince Charming" by Sarah Malley.

I loved this book. It was perfect. It was in perfect order starting with the purity of your Mind which really helped me grow closer to God; then the purity of your Body which I felt was the meat of the book because this portion got into detail about love, marriage, dating and sex, etc; and lastly purity of Spirit which was pretty much like a wrap up of the first 2 sections and a how-to guide to help you on your journey to purity. Within each daily devotional has a reflection on a daily verse, then looking forward to expand on the topic of that day, then Living it Out to really apply the topic to your daily life. I will definitely read this book again when God calls me. It isn't just a feel-good book devotional. It is an in-depth look into not only sexual purity but just being pure in mind and heart for God

This 90-day devotional is truly an inspiring book for any teen to read to build and strengthen a relationship and understanding with God.

Each day consists of a verse from the Bible, a reflection about an experience the author had that relates to the verse, a "looking further" segment about how to achieve better peace of mind, spirit, etc. and then finally a "living it out" part where the author gives tips on how to live out the day's lesson to better your life.

Rebecca St. James writes a very helpful book that any teen can appreciate. This inspiring and thought-provoking devotional is sure to please Christian readers.

This book was pretty good, but not great for me. if I'm going to read a devotional, I like each one to be several pages long, and this had really short chapters, or days. I like her writing though and it was very encouraging.

This devotional is truly amazing. It is all about cultivating a heart that is sold out for Jesus! God desires that we love Him with our whole heart and Rebecca writes out of her own relationship with the Lord that is truly inspiring! It is one of those books that you can read time and again.
