Working in a company with HR and need a solid book on how to manage things? You wondering how to get the most out of your HR and grow? Tired of high performance managers resigning and want to fix things for long term growth?

Then, Standout HR is the book you should be reading. Based on the author's 25+ years experience working within an organization, Standout HR is about HR delivering on want it promises through applying a simple model. As we learn, there is the generic HR model that has no personal touch but just goes through the motions in a robotic sense. In fact one of the chief goals of this book is to turn a generic HR model into your company-original HR model, which will carry the power to set up your organization for sustainable success. This is what Section 2 of this book will cover: building blocks, stakeholders, context factors. The author provides several illustrations from her past experiences in different settings to transform your company's Human Resources from a generic, low-value commodity to a strategic system that fuels business results.

In addition you will discover an effective and efficient method to develop your own company-original HR roadmap for success, a “how-to” guide for jumpstarting your rejuvenated and renewed HR journey, on your way to delivering Standout HR. There is a BONUS in this book as well. Vero shares with you the results of one of her assignments in a healthcare company. For this she was asked to develop a proposal for a company-original HR model that would have what it takes to become Standout HR. She shares the final report delivered to the customer, explaining the project phases, key findings and translation into a renewed company-original HR framework that specified four new key HR objectives.

This book has outstanding content that really delivers a sustainable model for creating an HR with impact. We see how HR fails its employees and get introduced to case studies and reports that detail the successful turn around for HR in various companies. After reading this book and the available tools, you will understand that the pathway to sustainable success for your business is bringing HR from the outside in, and turning your own HR inside out, to deliver a Standout HR.

Why not take action today and do the right thing for your business?

By reading this book and taking action, you can learn all the tools and strategies for bringing your HR to life and making it work in the way it is meant to. You can tap into the benefits of your HR and develop a company that is stronger than ever before.

A definite recommended read!

A must-read for every person who has any influence in HR strategy, or intends to have that influence one day
I wish I’d had this book when I was studying HR Management a lifetime ago: it should have been a big part of the syllabus. I’m no longer in that field, but now I almost wish I was! The author is obviously a specialist in her field, and she won me over immediately. Fast-paced and fascinating from page one, I found this to be more of a manual than a book in its practicality. There are helpful case studies and personal illustrations of situations we’ve all faced, or will one day face, in the highly responsible and sometimes very frustrating world of HR. The thing is, HR carries with it enormous power – I firmly believe the power to make or break an organisation, as well as its individuals. So we need to do it better than well. HR should be exceptional, or ‘Standout’. And here’s the guide.

This book offers a very structured approach to business strategy for any organization regardless of size. This would even be a great book for other disciplines such as finance, management, or other departments to read so they can better understand the human resources available to them by their organization. It also gives HR professionals expectations to aim at so they can operate at appropriate levels.

An easy to follow HR guide for businesses in 2019.

Presented in a clear easy to follow structured guide, I like the way Vero gives you both the generic model, the better model and then a pathway to get from one to the other.
