The Fallen Forest

They say that the wind from one door closing opens another...
But the winds of change have been blowing a gale through my life for so long now,
Overlapping. Slamming. Being beaten down... being locked behind me...
that I fear I've lost lost all sense of direction- I can't remember what doors opened when
and I can't help but wonder if what I really need to do is turn around and go back the way I came.

She says that everything I want is mine for the taking
and yet everything I want keeps getting taken away from me and replaced with something else.
I want to fight to hang onto the things I want, the dreams I've dreamed and the people I love, I do...
but there's only so long I can hold onto something for before it turns to ash in my hands.

Then again, I've tried letting go and it hasn't gotten me anywhere, so maybe now what i need to do is hold on, and pray that what I'm holding on to is strong enough to survive me.

S.K Munt is an author and playwright from north Queensland, Australia. She mostly writes adult paranormal fantasies, but loves to take the sweetness, hope and innocence that makes YA so beguiling, and give it an adult twist. You could say that she has a 'Pan' complex as far as happy endings go.

Samantha has 4 children, and is happily married to her first love. So far she has penned thirty-two novels, and five plays. In her spare time, she can be found at rehearsals for her local theatre groups, surfing, reading or cleaning compulsively.

Best series ever!!

Just when I think this series cannot get any more addicting, another curve ball is thrown into the story line. I am so in love with these characters. This series is by far the most in detail, suspense building, fairy tale like, romantic story i have ever read!! I am literally hanging by a thread after finishing this one. I cannot wait to see what happens next!!

Great Read!

I thought book 7 will be the last installment of this series but I guess there is more to come. There are many challenges that her kingdom will face and I miss Sam’s comical character. I have come to admire Larkin’s character development as she became more confident, fearless and tenacious. The last pages of the book was intensely emotional and unexpected. Nonetheless, I felt a different Karol in this book and how he obviously love Larkin for what she is. I am hoping the next book would be the conclusion for this series and give Larkin a break from heartaches and pain. I guess I am team Larkin and Karol.

Latest Eden Chronicles is the best yet.

Yet another in a long line of epic tales. The story line is always riveting, ever evolving, suspenseful and full of emotion. Just when you think you've got it figured out, the plot twists and knocks you off your socks again. Awesome character development. So good! I'm only sad that I can't dive right in to the next one already!
