Interesting Twists
Interesting story with some good twists. Can be a bit repetitive and desperately needs another round of editing. But if you can get past typos and continuity issues, it’s a good look at the flaws of blind capitalism.

This was a great read however there were so many typos in this book. It almost seemed like it wasn’t edited before publishing. Also the ending just left you hanging and confused. It seemed like they needed to end the book quickly before building up the next book. I’m interested to see what the next book entails but I haven’t found any information on it.

As other reviews have commented this book is quite poorly edited with all sorts of continuity errors that really jar when you are reading, especially if like me, you’ve read books 1 & 2 back to back so book 1 was clearly fresher in my mind than the author who seemed to have forgotten half of what was written in the first book. Some are small details but others are fairly major like Rae’s relationship with Jenny who it appears she hasn’t seen since school whereas in Book 1 they met 2 or 3 times after Rae left school. And Logan’s references to “all those times we talked at school” when in Book 1 they had only had one evening together as before that she thought he was an annoying jock and they weren’t friends. It even irked me that in book 1 she refers to her mum being friends with Logan’s mum but when she finds out who Peter is makes no reference to this.
However, these discrepancies aside, the second half of the book did pick up and hooked me back in after the very slow start, and now my main frustration is what on earth has happened to book 3 #Source as this has been removed from Amazon and is no where to be found online. I hope that it is re-released soon (perhaps it’s been withdrawn to be properly edited!!).

Just like the first I gave this 3.5 stars. Again I didn't quite find the links I wanted to the characters relationships towards each other, they felt too rushed at times. However the last quarter of this book was well worth the wait and kept me reading until 1am as i wanted to know what happens next but be aware this one ends on a cliff hanger & I hate that. Luckily I don't have to wait as the 3rd book is waiting for me to start tomorrow. Again I love the concept but marked down as it had a slow start & it was hard to understand the characters, there appears to be a love triangle but u can't really grasp why she would love one of them as there wasn't much interaction. This book also needs editing as lots of silly mistakes - which shouldnt happen when paying for the book, i had to re-read a few sentences in order for some of the speech to make sense. I really liked Raes friendship with Peter, this is the only relationship in the series so far where i could relate Raes feelings towards him. It was still worth the read and I'm looking forward to finding out how it will all end!

The timeline between this and the first book. Apparently the whole two years between the test and DOD have passed? It seemed more like a few months unless I missed a mention of time.
They talk about how much time rae and Logan spent together but as far as we can tell, it was only one evening? This came up a lot and it bothered me every time but I like her with Logan more than Drew.
Her relationship with peter was my favorite though since it’s different and unexpected, though I wouldn’t consider how he’s living “off the grid” in any way at all. He’s literally working for OBK.

Surprisingly enough, I actually enjoyed this book more than the first one! There weren’t as many typos, I got a better idea of how some characters felt, and things started to fall into place.
I figured out who Peter was the first time they talked (I was so excited)! I think it went a little fast in some parts, but overall, I really enjoyed this book! I didn’t realize the 3rd book wasn’t written yet so I am sad that I have to wait! But I am SO looking forward to the third book!!

Passable
I was really hoping this second instalment would give a lot more character progression but there isn’t much there at all. It’s an easy read but I’ve not been impressed by this book. The story line feels very rushed and didn’t suck me in, but if you’re looking for a quick easy read with a hint of tension to it it would be worth a read.

Plot is so poorly thought out
Videos made by Drew & Rae are posted of them together after they escape the lab. But the cover story for for her appearance and requested assistance from Login is that she was separated after their escape. Had high hopes for book two, as Transient was an enjoyable read, barring some errors.

Really love this concept. When is "Source" coming out? I cannot find anything about it. And why does this series show up as written by two different authors at two different times. KM Hill and Kai Holloway.

Mixed feelings. I enjoyed it but the pacing of the book was off and tons of typos. The ending was very abrubt, like trying to close out the book mid sentence to get another book out of the story. I love the concept of the book though.

I liked the concept but the story did not flow well and it ended on a cliff hanger. Now I have to read the third book to find out what happens. I miss the days when you could read the whole story in one book.

There are a lot of typos and inconsistencies in this book. Like the first book in this series, it felt like a rough draft. The ending was awful.

Good second book
Outliers kept me wanting to continue reading.
I enjoy that the heroine actually thinks things through and isn’t wishy washy. I appreciate when authors make their characters more well rounded as Rae is.
I love how the author brought someone from the sideline into the forefront as she did.
I’m looking forward to reading and finding out how this all ends.
My one criticism is that there are some grammatical errors. There is a continuity error as well, with her expiry date.

A refreshing view & thought provoking
Extraordinary Corporate/ personal rights conspiracy premise.
I read it with my jaw- dropping every other page!
Realistic, fully fleshed protagonists verses Corporate intrigue, power, and will stop at nothing to prevent any doubts to arise from even one individual.
I am impressed. Can hardly wait to read the final book in this trilogy.
