Quarto romanzo della serie Cowboy Dreamin', Tentata dal cowboy devo dirvi che purtroppo non mi ha entusiasmata come gli altri, onestamente spero sia l'unico dei prossimi a venire, perché è una serie che mi sta piacendo molto, vuoi che il tema cowboy mi ha sempre affascinata, con le descrizioni dei paesaggi e non solo... sapiens in verbis paucis (a buon intenditor poche parole).
Ma ora veniamo alla trama, alla storia che vede coinvolti Jason Young e Peyton Matthews.
Jason Young è uno dei tre gemelli della famiglia, quello che più degli altri è refrattario a trovarsi una compagna stabile, infatti, è uno stallone puro, e ogni weekend si accompagna a una donna diversa. Non ama le relazioni stabili e non ha idea di un futuro fatto di famiglia, compagna/moglie.
Peyton Matthews è giunta a Bandera da poco, lavora al Dusty Boot, è una grande osservatrice e soprattutto è affascinata da Jason, tantochè all'occasine giusta cerca di irretirlo, Jason cerca di essere forte ma come resisterle?
Ecco, diciamo che da questo momento in poi i vari giri di letto, cucina, bagno questa volta mi sono sembrati troppo forzati, troppo ripetitivi, troppo tutto.
La forte attrazione tra Jason e Payton è ribadita in tutti i modi possibili, e per quanto si sia capito che inizialmente è solo un fatto di sesso e basta l'ho trovato troppo (sto utilizzando troppe volte la parola troppo).
La famiglia Young però è fantastica, sempre uniti, riescono a capire e percepire quando c'è un momento di instabilità, di insicurezza nel giovane fratello, anche la mamma Nina, una donna che mostra di capire i propri figli dallo sguardo perso, pensieroso che hanno.
Payton, invece, è un'altra storia, dentro di sè porta un segreto, che prima o poi dovrà svelare, soprattutto quando la situazione sentimentale con Jason è oramai compromessa, i sentimenti sono affiorati, e le paure di perdere nuovamente tutto, la fiducia in un nuovo amore fanno a "cazzotti" con le parole dell'uomo che mai avrebbe immaginato di ricambiare le stesse emozioni.
Il passato torna impetuoso più che mai, è devo dire che questa sferzata, svolta ha dato al romanzo una nuova vitalità, lo ha reso più intenso di svolgimenti, travolgente, nonché premonitori di colpi di scena.
Questa volta quello che non ho apprezzato sono le sessioni di ripetute passioni, le ho trovate leggermente ripetitive, per una coppia che sì che voleva solo sesso senza impegni, inizialmente, ma mi hanno un po' disturbata. Tutto sommato però come sempre tanto di cappello per i fratelli Young che quando si buttano a capofitto in una storia non se la lasciano sfuggire, nonostante ribadiscano il più delle volte che non volgiono impegni duraturi... e ora attendiamo con ansia il prossimo, chi sarà il protagonista? Jeremiah!!!

Fast read, but they are kinda getting old they are set up to repeat items in all the books which is fine if you are reading them as stand alone books if you are reading the series it get kind of old. Like in my Childhood The Babysitters Club were like that a lot. Don't know if I will finish all the books we will wait and see.

These two went from a little fun to a whole lot more pretty quickly. They had great chemistry, and were genuine in their actions, they just had some obstacles to overcome. Determination and caring got them where they needed to be in the end <3

Well Everyone of the Young Brothers has made me PANT and this brother was nooo exception!!
Peyton is a tough as nails bartender who will not put up with anything from anyone. She has lived throught ALOT with her Ex so she is not about to go back down that rabbit whole again. However, she does get a lttie mushy over town player Jason Young.
Jason Young is a PLAYER PLAYER but he has eyes for this tough as nails bartender even though he never does anything about it. He just keeps screwing his way throught the town.
This book starts sooo different then the other books in the series. Peyton and Jason meet and jump right into the sex. Most of Sandy's books have this build up and then BOOM the fun romping starts!! Well this book the two just admit to wanting a one night stand even thought they both want soooo much more from the other.
So I had to adjust to the different stlye of the writing but i still enjoyed the new twist the her story. So Peyton and Jason being to have some hook-ups and one of Peytons friends get jealous because she loves Jason. That causes a little bit of drama when she makes some claims to Jason which he flips over and denies.
The we have to deal with Peyton and her ex. He is not a very happy man because he is a nut case and has been looking for her for months, weeks, and years even....so as you can imagine it gets critical very very fast!!
i abso love this series and cannot wait for more from The Young Family!!

I loved this series! I can not wait to read more. These Young Brothers are so hot, sexy, delightful, and amazeballs to read. You can't help but love all these rough and rowdy cowboys.
This story had so much to it....heartache, intrigue, jealousy, suspense, hot, sexy.....the list goes on. I love the characters and how we got to see the characters from the previous books and see how their story is progressing as well without having them take over the story. This was a multi pov story (the best kind in my opinion)
The characters were great, their dialogue flowed so well and was so entertaining, the descriptions to details drew me in easily and kept me hanging on. All in all, another great read by Sandy Sullivan. This whole series is great and can be read as stand alones, but why would you want to only read one? The series itself is great so treat it like a lays potato chip.....you can't read just one. Go grab all four, read them in order and then after that grab her other books in her other series to read until more of this series becomes available. I dare you :)

I cannot tell you how excited I was to get Peyton’s story. This is the fourth book in the Cowboy Dreaming series. Tempted by The Cowboy shows just how masterful a story teller Sandy Sullivan can truly be. She took a very sensitive situation and handled it perfectly. Not many authors can do that so I really applaud her for that.
Peyton is a misfit. She has piercings, tattoos, and is not a joiner. She is a tough one who can take care of herself.
Jason is a flirt. He never really turns it off. Peyton has seen it work on every girl he comes in contact with. But deep down Jason is a stand up guy. He has heart and soul. Bit of a hero complex that drives Peyton crazy but she needs a hero in her life.
Tempted by The Cowboy is my favorite so far in this series. I like the range of emotions and how Ms. Sullivan handles things. There is plenty of hot sex too. This is part of a series and should be read in order.
When you want an intense love story with a beautiful happy ending this is the book to pick up.

Jason and Peyton had a steamy romance with no strings attached, yep a NO GO... Strings were therr even though they tried to fight it. Realizing she was his "forever" seemed to come too late when her passed resurfaced but the cowboy prevailed. Being a bull master helped Jason tame the whip and kill the bastered. Now he is standing by Peyton side as her support and love. The HOT sex is a MUST too...

Another Young brother bites the dust. Peyton is a feisty heroine and Jason has his hands full trying to convince himself and her, he's not the relationship kind. Nice suspenseful twist toward the end and lots of down and dirty hot sex. Love this series only five more brothers left, how hard will they fall?
