This book does not make me look beautiful. I cannot paint myself as a gentle flower, as an elegant rose. This book is not a moral highroad but the collection of my brokenness, a menagerie. It is years of tearing myself down to the marrow, stripping ego, in an attempt to find unanswered whys. It is a decade of love, unrecognizable to me, looking me in the face and never once turning its back. Unabashed. Unashamed. Unapologetic. This book is my humanity. This is the first published work of Olivia Barnes', complete with hand-drawn artwork by the author.
