***--***
As mentioned in the description, this is a slow build reverse harem paranormal romance. You may not see the harem for several books, but don't fret! It's definitely there!
If slow build isn't your thing, that's completely fine! But if you don't mind waiting a little for it, keep reading!

It's rare that a book actually makes me laugh out loud but Dunlap has the skill. Despite the doom and gloom this book is freaking hilarious. It's not long, it's extremely enjoyable and I think writing from Knight's POV was a fantastic idea.

I recommend this series for an easy light read that'll make you laugh but still let you feel the seriousness of the situation. I'm looking forward to the next books.

I absolutely love this little book continuing the Born Vampire series. What makes it even better? Reading it from Knight’s perspective! Elizabeth Dunlap did a spectacular job changing from the female perspective to the male perspective. Can’t wait for book 5!

Bite of the Fallen by Elizabeth Dunlap is the fourth book in The Born Vampire Series. This book begins in the year 2053 as the born vampire Lizabeth her werewolf husband Knight and their children are attending a Carnival. The whole family is having a wonderful time until a horrible discovery is made. They find that a vampire drone being displayed in a side show. This sets off a series of events that changes their world forever. This book is full of mystery, suspense, lots of action, and an unforgettable romance between one born vampire and two very different men. I loved this book and couldn’t put it down. I especially love that this is an amazingly original paranormal series full of many unique creatures. This is the perfect book for any paranormal romance lover. Bite of the Fallen is a compelling story that is full of mystery, suspense, adventure, and romance.

Such a great new chapter

This book delivers more than most series with continuing on after the battle is over and peace time began. You get to see where your favorite couple ends up years down the road and it's awesome. The change in point of view was refreshing bonus as well. I highly recommend this series!!!

Yes, more please

The world is changing now that, Alistair is back and out for revenge. It’s now up to Liz and her mate, Knight, along with Arthur to save her family and the world. Can’t wait to see what is up next, along with her relationship with Arthur finally moving along. The RH starts now.

A series with so many ups and downs and who can deny one with Vampires in a reverse harem. Full of mystery, suspense, lots of action, and an unforgettable romance. The narrator does a great job narrating this book

I didn’t enjoy this book that much. I didn’t bond with the characters, I didn’t like the storyline that much. Just not my cup of tea.

Starting out with a time jump always make me leery because you feel like you missed so much especially when you get pulled in to a story, but this eases you and you don't feel like you've missed to much while still *slightly* giving you a punch to the gut when certain characters didn't even up developing how you expected... *cough* Kitty *cough*. The change in narrator was unexpected and threw me a little, though I enjoyed seeing the story from Knight's POV. If only it swapped character POVs like the next book did then I would've been in heaven. At the end of the 3rd book every thing but Alistair was wrapped up in a bow and not long into this he pops up destroying the 35 years of peace the supernaturals settled into. This set up a continuation of the story further and in a tasteful way that didn't feel like hitting a dead piñata with a bat. So grateful to have come across this ARC that introduced me to this amazing series!

Disappointing

I honestly think the series should have ended at book 3. Although the harem had not fully developed by then, it could have been done. This book stretches things out (Arthur and lisabeth are still not together). The world falls apart in this book. Spoiler: Epidemic of mass humans turning into drones. Its so extreme that it is ridiculous. Also, no character development or world building.

This book was written for quantity, and doesn’t have a lot of quality. This book was almost told more than it was shown (for instance, a summary of scenes rather than dialogue and details).

I won’t be reading the next book.

This is book 4 to the Born Vampire series and it’s such a fantastic story I loved it. This story is taken from Knight’s point of view and it was a refreshing change to read his side of the story but then I’ve always loved sexy Knight. Lisbeth and Knight help the humans when they are attacked by a drone but it’s against the law for them to help so now the vampires and lycans will be after them for helping the humans. I loved this story it’s been a fantastic series so far and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Well I wasn't expecting that to happen or the book to end there ( turning off the percentage read makes it that much more of a shock when the book ends!). Crikey I do love this series. Just when I think it could t get any worse, it does! And I loved the viewpoint of this book being Knight's. I love his personality and it's great to get inside his head and know more what he is thinking. Now I need to know how they're going to get out of it!

Book review of Bite of the Fallen (Born Vampire Series, Book 4) by Elizabeth Dunlap

This is another wild ride with some roaring comedy and sad tragedy.

Crazy "life cganging; no going back" decisions were made both personally and on a MUCH larger scale.

I love the characters and world Elizabeth Dunlap has woven and I am looking forward to the next 2 books!

Changing from female to male perspective completely ruined this for me. I like being able to "live" the story
I cant do that from a male perspective.

I also dont like that we skip 35 years in time - make it a new story then. A spin off or whatever. Doing it within the same series just doesnt make sense.
