Connection can exist at any level of our We can be mentally linked, emotionally linked, energetically linked, and/or physically linked to something. The Connection Process presents three powerful esoteric processes that restore you from a state of separation to a state of connection with yourself and others. By engaging in the processes, youll be able perceive fundamental truths about yourself and others; see, hear, feel, and understand yourself and others; and develop a deep sense of connectedness with the world. Think about how good it would feel for someone to completely understand youand how great it would be if they were so perceptive of your internal world that they knew exactly what you need or what to say. Think of how good it would be to enjoy harmony in your relationships instead of suffering through conflicts. Connect with yourself, others, and the world around you with your heart, body, emotion, and mindand enjoy the lasting joy that comes from making true connections.
Teal Swan is a personal transformation revolutionary. She was born with a range of extrasensory abilities and is a survivor of severe childhood abuse. Today she uses her gifts as well as her own harrowing life experience to inspire millions of people towards authenticity, freedom, and joy and teaching people how to transform their emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual pain.
The result when people are restored to wholeness is that the world will be restored to wholeness. Teal Swan's teachings invite people to step fully into their authenticity, knowing that this will bring about the positive change that we want to see in the world.
"Ultimately the number one desire, the desire that hides beneath all other desires, is the desire for connection."
I read The Connection Process right after I finished reading The Anatomy of Loneliness. This is a wonderful esoteric book about a technique that let's you deeply see, feel, hear, and understand yourself and other people.
I have to admit that I've been practicing The Connection Process since I watched Teal's video on it years ago. I use it in the mirror to connect deeply with myself, as a powerful meditation technique. This process has been an integral part of my healing journey, and I wouldn't want to miss it.
I've also done this technique on another person, and all I can say is: wow! I recommend that you do this with people close to you, especially your significant other. It will completely transform your relationship.
As always, I want to thank Teal Swan from the bottom of my heart, as she is the reason I am still alive today, and healthier and happier than I have ever been before.
Spontaneously bought it yesterday, forgot I even put it on the "want to read" list. It was a bit too esoteric, even for me. On the other hand, doing a few exercises from the book was really a profound spiritual experience. No one ever offered a perspective about connection and loneliness quite as good and deep as Teal did, so I see immense value in this.
What an absolutely stellar book--practically dripping with divine, universal and human love across its pages! Wow! What a badass lady Teal is.
I am really grateful that she managed to, with help, to work through her own traumas and religious cult abuse, among things rape-- illuminating the importance of human connection, increased self-awareness, showing the benefits of her own inner-child work and Teal's own framework for that in her own completion process technique and book. Propelled into a connection technique to heal and heal others to become evermore self-aware and in contact with ourselves and the lovely universe we find ourselves in, our fellow human beings and other life forms.
I am exhausted, some of the segments were tough to read through—I had to take a break-- and I could not digest it all with one reading regardless. I feel good, loving and hopeful. But it is a bit ironic how she paints that we have a whole universe inside of us and how my life trajectory has bumped along but now with a pulsating bright light of hope and love that'll shine for all eternity inside me and around me. Now just to find the courage, strength and time to work through my own traumas and deepen my connection with the universe I am in and myself :P
A very intuitive technique of seeking to connect with others. Teal Swan has a wonderful ability to make psychological ideas easy to understand and apply. This book is not exhaustive in what it's trying to do (I still have questions), but effort was given to try and explain that every experience will be different and you need to "feel your way" together. A lot relies on visualization, using imagination and intuition. I don't get the depth that I'd get in, say, a depth psychology text, but it's a genuine and practical effort made here to give people who are eager to connect with others a starting point for trying to do so in a unique and "fun" way. The technique is a starting point that has the potential to become quite intimate when engaged with authentic heart and communication. I like as well that this book isn't a thick or dense read, it's refreshing and makes it an easy go-to guide.
This book provides an exercise of how connect to the other, as well as how to connect to yourself. The book itself is written in a certain style that may attract intuitive feelers to it yet leaves little for intuitive thinkers. The mechanisms behind the connection process, how they work and why, are left out and the book itself can sound a bit woo woo and simply a practice of imagination which might hold ground in reality regarding the other person or not.
Nevertheless, such an approach, if properly explained and developed, can perhaps provide much healing for many people who experience various degrees of pain and suffering.
Abstract and experiential - the activity with one’s self is intriguing, yet with a partner is codependent. I understand this is great for an experience vs. a way of being longer term so as long as one can pull out of it, could be healthy. I appreciate the framework and intend to give it a try with a close friend/ a form of shadow work re: walls I hadn’t known before reading this book.
