Loved it! The second book in the series didn't disappoint. It was sexy with a bit of intrigue. Alex needed a wife to distract, he found Felicia (Ruby), and they had instant chemistry. Felicia was used by Harry and with Alex and his family's support, she got her confidence back and felt worthy again; she in turn acted the loving wife; however, it didn't take long for them to realize it wasn't an act, they found their true love. There were more sex scenes than usual and a bit graphic, but they were tastefully written. I really enjoyed this story and cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Alexander was looking for a wife and found a partner. Felicia needed to find someone who would protect her and, in the end, make her a rich woman. How this all works out is the story in this book. He had various ways of making his millions and she was out of option with her modeling career – age had taken its toll. He was in control in the bedroom but she was the master of his heart. It’s a modern-day Mail Order Bride with twists, mystery and romance. It’s an enjoyable story-line that moves quickly and you have an HEA.

I enjoyed Alex and Felicia's story. It was a heartbreaking journey of low self-esteem, eating disorders and trust issues. There was also partner swapping and a murder! I appreciate the author's perspective on topics I knew little about. The characters' problems are real and the characters were likeable. The journey was worth the deserved HEA.

Great book! The way she addressed and dealt with the issue of anorexia was awesome! My sister suffers from this disease and it is horrible. I loved the characters and the way they were so tender with each other. I am excited to read the rest of this series

Wow. This book had everything. Low self-esteem, eating disorder, as well as a hero who cared a lot more than he seemed. This is what I like about Chantel Rhondeau's stories. They deal with real people who have real issues, but also show how people basically care about each other, even when they fight not to.
The hero, Alexander, thought he'd simply get a bride for hire to help him with his "work." But when he ends up with Felicia, he realizes she might look great on the outside, but is fighting self-esteem and eating disorders on the inside.
Their love story is sweet and inspiring, and it turns out that each of them cared more than they thought they would. I love how they teamed up and looked out for each other, and how love can come from that little spark in good that is in each person.
Thanks for writing about eating disorders. I've recently lost a lot of weight and realized how easy it is to fall into be obsessed with eating or not eating. It's a small semblance of control we have in a world where we don't have much control, and therefore, it is an especially tricky "problem" to have.
