Order Battletome: Stormcast Eternals

Rate this book
The Stormcast Eternals – supernatural warriors forged in Azyr, each the embodiment of Sigmar’s storm. The heavens roar and the sky crashes, split by searing bolts from above. With an explosion of lightning and a booming thunderclap, the forces of the Stormcast Eternals manifest in reality and plunge into battle. Energised by the magical tempest, they launch their attack, weapons wreathed in celestial energy. Razor-edged blades rise and fall, and heavy hammers swing in an onslaught that batters down all before it. Theirs is the fury of the heavens unleashed.

This book contains rules for using the Stormcast Eternals in the Age of Sigmar.

First time I've read a battletome, and I definitely wasn't disappointed. Very interesting fiction for the faction, and the rules and unique allegiance abilities make for a very interesting sounding force on the table top. Very good quality, meaning I'll definitely consider grabbing some of the other Battletomes at some point.

If you want to know about the Stormcast Eternals it's hard to imagine how you could do better. It's beautifully presented, has all the war scrolls naturally and loads of painting ideas and guides. That said I didn't find the lore that engaging - a bit dry if anything - but then it's not a novel so I don't know what I was expecting.

In honesty this is a Faux pas on my part. I assumed this was different from the hard cover, I don't even think they are different editions.
