Instead of the H leaving when things get rough, it was the h who started a secret business from home and left H. But the H goes chasing and they continue their weekend marriage but with better sex and then reconcile complete with the long anticipated baby. But what makes this a 4 star is the writing. It is definitely very well written and captures the frustrations and motivations of both H and h beautifully.
Immediately drawn to Laurie's character, a strong woman who knows what she wants then perhaps got lost in who she really is because she taught having a baby will make her life complete after marrying Rob.
And with that desperation, she ran away from everything, Rob included to find herself again and perhaps face her greatest fear, telling the truth of what she wants to the most important person in her life, her husband, Rob.
And I always in the believe, when you stopped thinking of wanting something so desperately, it happens when you least expect it. It does happen to me now and then. And it could be the best, sweetest, most incredible surprise in life.
