This book is a compilation of 12 comments/speeches by Jae Seung Jung. He goes through various areas of science such as neurology, economy, IT and so on. I liked the general theme of this book where he focuses on a creative, active and "revolutionary" life. Even though I can imagine why Koreans would love this type of talk, it was not really new to me. I think it's also strongly related to the educational difference between Korea and Europe that the texts didn't really touch me. Also, I'm sure that it would have been much better to listen to him actually speak to a live audience.
Nevertheless, if you felt like changing your life through "12 steps" and don't know where to start at all, I would highly recommend this. He introduces many different and technical terms in an easy-going way. I didn't really expect this to be kind of a self-help book. Since I have expected to read a more science-based book, I was kind of disappointed.
A collection of twelve public lectures on science, technology, human behavior and brain. Interesting cross of fields- wish there were more contents from his own research. Enjoyed ch. 9 and 10.
