“She is ten times the person you are. She is unique.”
Wow! What a wonderful series! Deliciously scary. I’m totally snagged and torn between two worlds, the human and the machines, they both have their pros and cons. A tumultuous, turbulent and emotional story, thought provoking and action packed. Just when I think everything is fine, along come more twists at every turn, so unexpected! The world building and characterization is excellent, very realistic.
The covers of this series are fantastic, eye catching, with a very creative artistry. Next read, Triality book 3! A worth read, if I may say so!

Hard choices is right. Arista went through some rough stuff in this book, and she was a serious trooper!
I enjoyed how the story progressed, but this book didn't grip me as much as the first one.
However, I did like the growing friendship between all of the characters- and the introduction of new technology- and the discovery of more humans!
The one thing that kept bothering me in this book though was when the machines got in Arista's face about humanity ruining the planet, and getting pissed at her for being human. I mean, the machines did cause a mass genocide of the human race... so... glass houses?
Still enjoying the series though, and its on kindle unlimited rn...on to the next book!

This is such an interesting series. I really enjoy how the storyline keeps you guessing. The author draws you in and keeps you wanting more.

Arista's life is in turmoil after with her encounter with the powerful Cadre AI Charlie. The fact she had mercifully end the lives of captive humans that haunts Arista. Her life and those of Max, Frees and Jill are about to become very complicated when a mysterious woman contacts Arista. Claiming not only to a human but also their a colony of humans existing in this altered world. Amongst the shocking revelation, Sy provides them with the knowledge of another Cadre AI to be removed and wants Arista to take it out. Sy gifts her a powerful 'glove' weapon to achieve this task. Despite the others not really backing the task, Arista and Frees head to Japan to confront the AI Hogo- sha. But something is wrong upon arriving, Arista and Frees discover that her ability to free robots no longer works and trying to remain in secret is no longer an option. When Arista's glove weapon begins to ravage her, threatening to kill her; their only hope comes from Shin who can't exactly be trusted; it will force Arista to once again to have kill another in order to survive against someone she thought she could trust. Duality as the masterfully written sequel of Singular, it will have you caught up in an emotional journey as truths of this complex world unfold, questioning the gray shadowed morales of each character. Highly recommended.

Ik zou deze zeker nog een keer lezen maar dan in boek vorm inplaats van ebook hij heeft wel wat weg van Aurora rising vond ik maar ook weer net niet.
