When Stella Vincent's father gambled away her childhood home, it was up to her to get it back. But when she finally met the man who held the deed, she realized just how dangerous he really was.
And how much she wanted him.
Tate Wessen knew he was dangerous, and he counted on others realizing the same thing in order for him to get what he wanted. Running an illegal underground fight club wasn't the worst thing he'd ever done.
When Stella walked into his office, the obsession was instant. She'd do anything to get her father's house back, and he was depraved enough to use that to his advantage. What he offered her was very simple.
She must submit to him in any way he saw fit for two weeks. After that, her father's debt would be absolved.
The only problem was, he found himself falling for Stella and knowing that letting her walk away wasn't going to be an option.

So--now that I can actually breath after reading this most current installment of The Underground Series I can write this review.
This was by far the hottest, most intense, volatile, crushing, insane, and turbulent read in the whole series.
So, Jenika dumped in our lap hints at Tate, the owner of said Underground Fighting ring. He seemed like a a-hole. I mean it would be strange if he actually had a soul right?
Well, duh!
Jenika pulls no punches, she shoves Tate, in all his arrogant glory into our faces and we are like, "No Stella! Don't do it! Just walk away and take the lose! Just DO IT! He will CRUSH YOU!" But, she does it! She does it to prove a point to herself and to this man that thinks he can do as he pleases!
This book by far has the most intimate content. And it pushed the kink factor in the series. I wanted to punch Tate in the face quite a few times, but the internal dialogue coming off Stella stopped me. I think of all the females in the series, personality wise, I related to Stella the most. As a closet submissive, she was the one that I just got. I know most people would kill a man like Tate if he told them to some of the stuff he told Stella to do. Yeah, well, I'm a little more kinky then the average human--and I'm not 50 Shades of kinky, I'm right and proper kinky and dirty!
ANYWAY! This was by far my favorite installment because it sucker punches you quite a few times. You are reading with a swollen left eye and still you can't put it down even as tears are blinding your vision and you are begging Tate to stop acting dump!
I hope more of these books are in the future. We were introduced to a new fighter with a big scar on his face and instantly I'm like, fighter, big, giant, with a scar! BRING IT JENIKA!
Jenkia Snow is a master at bringing the filth, i just loved Deeper... it was what i expect when i pick up one of her books but also this was more! Stella and Tate had a beautiful story with the obvious instalove that makes Jenkia's books so popular but also I really felt for Tate, the childhood he endured and how he was giving something back after all he suffered. I thought that they were the perfect match and loved every minute of it!
I have really enjoyed the underground series and I have to admit I am a little gutted that this is the final book. Jenika Snow totally rocked with these slightly darker books.
Stella has been supporting her father for years trying to get him past his addictions, her life wasn’t always like that there were many happy times in her past but that all stopped when her mother died and on that day she really lost both of her parents. But this time he has gone too far when she is called in the middle of the night and discovers he has gambled away the family home to a man that radiates danger and she knows by reputation only. She is given an ultimatum of either finding twenty five thousand in cash within a week or to spend two weeks with a man that is attractive and dangerous for her piece of mind and her heart. Knowing she doesn’t really have a choice she agrees to the terms of the arrangement, but what she finds during her time with Tate changes her irrevocably and she knows that when her time with Tate comes to the end she will leave her heart behind.
Tate wanted Stella the minute he saw her, she intrigued him more than any woman ever has but business is business and he wants his money. He strikes a bargain with her if she wants to keep her family home then she pays up or spends two weeks submitting to everything that he wants. What he wasn’t expecting was to want to be with Stella all the time she has worked her way under his skin before he knows it. She is not the typical woman that is seen on his arm and it’s not long before a woman from his past is reminding him of the demons and secrets that he hides. Is he really worthy of a woman like Stella and could she love him even knowing his secrets? Should he trust her or will he push her far enough way that he can never win her back.
Both of these characters are multi layered and bring out the best in each other. Their chemistry is burning hot and I loved how they were both strong people who were only vulnerable to each other. Highly recommended series each book is a great read.
Stella picks up her addict father only to be told the boss wants to talk to her. Nervous and slightly scared she goes and meets The head guy in charge Tate. He informs her that her father barrowed money from him 25k worth. She has one week to get his money. Little does she know Tate wants her, after the talk he waits her out and it doesn't take to long for Stella to come back and see if they can make another deal. He does 2 weeks Stella is his in any way he wants anywhere he wants and she agrees.
The tension builds between the two as they have fun in the sheets, feelings change between the two also some push and pull...but we got some more drama.. some of Tate's past starts becoming clear.. can their relationship grow? Or do these two keep pushing each other away?
Instalove/lust Cocky jerk growlyn jealous alpha male Innocent doormate firey curvy gal Mentions om & ow (some ppls try to start drama.. between the two) Drama voyeurism Bdsmish No cheating Push pull Sex Anal sex/play Hea Epilogue
We know Tate is in charge of the underground fighting, but finally in this book we find out more about all he is involved in. Stella is desperate to save her father from the path his addictions have taken him on this time, and Tate is the only man that can help. When he tells her 2 weeks is all it will take, but she must belong to him, she agrees. What follows is sexy, intense and enlightening. Tate isn’t an easy man but when.m his past is brought to light and we discover what really lies beneath those sexy suits he wears, we find a man who will do whatever it takes to achieve the things that are important to him. Meanwhile Stella comes into her own and learns more about herself and what she wants from her life than she believed she could learn from a man like Tate. This is an amazing addition to the Underground Series and as usual includes plenty of hot and sexy scenes!
Stella and Tate have a deal that just may lead them to places they never expected. When Stella learns that her father lost her childhood home she will sacrifice anything to get it back and it turns out that anything just may need to on the table when she discovers who holds the deed. Tate Wessen is not a man that you trifle with and what he wants is two weeks no holds bar access to her. Tate has taken great care to build his harden image and it is what keeps his empire intact. The moment Stella walks in looking for his lenience he is instantly drawn to her and comes up with a quid pro quo to get just what he wants and give her what she wants in the process. Little does he know that as they play this game of cat and mouse they will fall into a different kind of trap… one of the heart.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book
This is the third book of the series, Underground, and I liked it so much! Stella and Tate are so perfect for each other; Stella's light to Tate's darkness are the perfect combo. I loved their chemistry together, which was super sexy, spicy and a great amount of hot and sweaty moments, including the dirty talk ;)
Again, the author, Jenika Snow did an incredible job writing this story :) The character's description was on point; the plot was great as well as the flow of it. Everything you want in a Jenika Snow story, either short or long, a novella, short story or a full book, she nails it every single time ;) I'm already anticipating her next story and excited for it to come out already ;) <3
I honestly think this is the best book I’ve read by Jenika Snow!! It’s longer than the others and it’s not insta-love like the other ones. Don’t get me wrong I love instant love stories. Stella works two jobs just to take care of her drunk gambling dad. One night when she gets called out to pick up her dad at a casino she meets Tate the owner of the casino. Her dad has gambled away the deed to her childhood home and her only chance to save it is to spend two weeks with Tate. He’s dangerous but oh so hot!! This is a hot steamy read and I loved every second and could put it down!
Stella is between a rock and a hard place her father is a drunk and has a gambling problem and that leads her to Tate , her father put her childhood home up for his debts and now Tate has given her a chance to stay with him for 2 weeks to wipe the debt clean .
These two weeks are way more than either one thought they would be and when secrets come out she finds out more than she thought possible about Tate .
I read the original version of this, but this revised and re-edited version with more content is way better. I liked the characters the sexual tension between them is very apparent. He’s a bad guy and she’s the good girl who gets caught up in her fathers problems, and ends up having to put herself on the line, to repay her fathers debt.
This is up there with my favourites from this author, but nothing yet has bettered The Tattooed and Pierced series.
Her father had gambled their home away and she needs to get it back. She goes to him and they both know trouble will not be so far away. He will cancel the debt on one condition she will do whatever he wants whenever he wants. He finds himself falling for her. See what will happen between them

I read, and loved, the previous story in the Underground series, His Wrath, and it made me really look forward to Tate's story. Now that I've read it, I've decided that I'm Jenika Snow's new number 1 fan. This series is great!
When Stella's gambling-addicted, still grieving father gambles his way into a hole, Stella is the one who has to suffer for it. The owner of the casino to whom Stella's father owes his debt is a ruthless man. Tate's used to taking what he wants all while feeling nothing but perhaps adrenaline and lust for a night. But when he sees Stella as she comes to pick up her drunk father, he decides he has to have her. What more perfect way to get her into his life than by calling due her father's debt? But, he'll be lenient just this once because he's that magnanimous (not really). If Stella submits to him in every way he wants for 2 weeks, he'll agree to forgive her father's debt. Tate (and Stella) just never imagined feelings might get in the way of their little arrangement.
I had thought after reading the synopsis that this would probably be a fun, sexy piece of fluff, but it's not. Oh it's sexy, but it's not fluff. Tate, in particular, has a lot of demons and is much more layered than he sounds in the blurb. I loved how Stella brought his deeper feelings out, and how he allowed himself to be vulnerable around her. Of course, he had to go and mess it up because he is a man after all, and a damaged one at that, but thankfully the two are able to resolve things without any OTT drama or angst.
I'm hoping there's more to come in this Underground series, but if not that's OK because Deeper is a great conclusion. It's emotionally substantive, well-written, and the connection between Stella and Tate is smokin' hot!
Stella Vincent is shocked to learn that her father has risked everything he owns on a gambling debt to Tate Wesson. She doesn't have the money he owes but how much is she willing to give up to protect her father?
Tate Wesson runs an underground fighting ring as well as several legitimate businesses. He keeps his heart well guarded after growing up in a difficult situation. When he sees Stella he knows he wants her, even if for only a short period of time.
The more time Stella and Tate spend together the more they begin to care but Tate is not willing to risk his heart. When something happens and Stella is forced to leave will she find it in her heart to forgive Tate?
This was another great book in this series and these are my favorite books by this author.
I really liked Stella although I was a little mad at her for constantly getting her dad out of the situations he got himself into. I was proud of her for what she was willing to do for her dad to prevent the loss of his house which carried memories of her mom. I loved that Stella hated Tate but her body thought something entirely different!
Tate was so much more complicated! He had so much chemistry with Stella but you could tell he had a difficult past and did not want to get close to Stella. I was curious to learn what happened to him and why he pushed people away.
I thought Miles was great and I loved his dedication to Tate and I think it showed that there was much more to Tate than what we realized.
The stuff with Alyssia made me more curious to what happened in Tate's past and I was shocked by everything that happened afterwards with Stella. I was so mad at Tate for what he did to her and he deserved to be angry at himself.
I loved the very ending with Everclear and the truth behind it all! I was so happy with how everything came together for Stella and her dad and how he found a purpose.
Stella’s father was a shell of the man he used to be and turned to drinking to forget, she was used to looking after him. It was always the same thing taking care of him, until she gets told that Tate Wessen wants to talk to her. Stella was aware of Tate and knows he saw her watching him, but nothing could stop the look of shock, when he told her that her father owed a lot of money and she had a week to get it. Tate has never wanted a woman this much and once Stella paid the money owed he would have one night with her. Not wanting to lose her family home, and wanting Tate, as much as she didn’t want to admit it, she agrees to be his for two weeks. Very quickly Stella learns that Tate wants him her to obey him, and her submission. Stella has trouble following the mood swings from Tate, but when he’s not cold to her, she felt warm and fuzzy. Stella started to realise that has demanding and harsh as Tate could be there was a softer side to him as well. He wasn’t used to all the emotions that Stella was bringing out in him, he’s tried to bury them, he knew he wasn’t good enough for her and she didn’t know about his past, he had no idea what he would happen when their time was over. Leaving, Stella didn’t expect Tate to follow her, or for him to ask why she left, does she let him know she was jealous, their deal is over soon, and he can move on with his life, or will she take the risk and let him know her feelings, she tried to guard her emotions and failed.

Deeper (The Underground #3) by Jenika Snow is Tate's story. He is the boss of the illegal underground fighting. This book is a standalone so the other two books do not have to be read. Tate has his eye on Stella Vincent and her has a plan to make her his. Stella finds herself in Tate's office. Tate makes her aware that her father has gambled the family home away. Her dad owes Tate 25,000.00 dollars and she has no clue how she can come up with that kind of money in a week. Stella get what she can get together in hopes Tate will give her more time. Tate seizes the opportunity of Stella's desperation and gives her a proposal that is certainly indecent. Tate wants 2 full weeks of her submission for the deed back to the home. With no other options Stella accepts. Tate is good looking and having him in bed is not too much of a hardship. Tate is happy Stella has accepted the offer. 2 weeks is just enough time to get a fill of someone as sweet as her. What these 2 didn't plan on was their feelings becoming more. This was a cute story of 2 people from 2 different worlds falling in love. However when one person is into illegal activities, happily ever after is not always possible. Loved Tate's life story and him being a rich, good looking and built guy doesn't hurt. Yummy! Novella or full story I enjoy this author. 4 star read for me.
Stella Vincent is a good girl who works 2 jobs in order to live, and help her father out since he's an alcoholic & gambler. She has no life to speak of since she's always called to rescue him, and his latest bender has him ready to lose his house. Stella is called into Tate Wessen's office since he's the one with the deed to the house, and he gives her a couple of days to come up with the money, but she can't do it, so he offers to wipe the debt clean if she spends two weeks at his mercy. She agrees, and off on a sexy journey with a man who goes out of his way to try and make her hate him. I spent more than half of this book really despising Tate, as he really did go out of his way to make sure she didn't catch feelings, and I wanted to throat punch him more than once. There was no denying that their sexy times lit the sheets on fire, but again, I really hated how her feelings were hurt so much. Luckily, there was a cast of secondaries that helped not only Stella, but me see his big heart that was buried deep. So yeah, I had to give 5 stars to the talented Jenika Snow, as it's hard to get me to change my mind with men who start out cold. Anyway, I loved this story, even with all the heartache involved, so I CANNOT WAIT to read more of this series, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
This was an amazing short read and the chemistry between Stella and Tate was lightning hot and just as fast.
Stella Vincent only thought she was going to pick up her father who often drank too much to drive himself home but when she arrived at the Horseshoe, where he currently drank and gambled, she was advised that the owner Tate Wessen had requested she come to his office and not tomorrow but today. Tate informed Stella that her father owed him a large sum of money and if not repaid in one week he would take possession of her childhood home.
Tate Wessen was a dangerous man and few people if any ever told him no. When Stella showed up 3 days later offering a small percentage of what was owed, Tate made her an offer she really couldn't refuse. But little did either of them know what the outcome of that offer would be.
This book is filled with situations neither party understand and there are broken hearts getting to the end they both desire so much because living without the other is not a good option for either of them.
Grab yourself a copy of this book, sit back and enjoy the ride.
Stella Vincent had been cleaning up her father’s drunken messes for years but now things were going downhill fast, she was going to lose her childhood home, such as it was, if she couldn’t convince Tate Wessen to let her pay off the loan. Tate had other plans for Stella!
Stella is one gutsy female who definitely loves her father to put up with the things she does! Her sassy comebacks light a little fire in the unusual relationship between Tate and herself and make things interesting, I could feel myself cheering for Stella. An absolute alpha all the way, Tate, even though a bad boy, is someone you can’t help but be intrigued by and like. He has a take no prisoners attitude yet when it comes to Stella even confuses himself!
We see a little fighting action in the cage, banter between the lead characters and loads of physical chemistry and intimacy that is red hot but isn’t overpowering as far as the story goes. Tate is very dominant but Stella has him second-guessing himself.
This fast-paced, easy to read story is entertaining and leaves you feeling great, just like a good story should in my opinion!
Stella has to deal with her father and his drinking and gambling habits. This time things are going to change for Stella. She has a week to pay off his debt to Tate, who is the owner of the casino and not a very understanding or patient man.
They come to an agreement 14 days of total surrender, to a cold and dominate man like Tate what could happen? Especially when the coldness melts and a whole different side of Tate is exposed.
Stella falls hard and when she sees Tate for what he is, which is completely different from anything you could think of. The truth will make you see Tate in a whole new light.
This is more that a book of dominance, it's a story of knowing when to surrender and give into your heart. This one will take you on an emotional roller coaster. I love how we get to see what happens with Stella and Tate over time. Loved it!!!

An instant sexual attraction But not a one time hook up A 2 week indecent proposal I was immediately hooked!! We met Tate in the other books in this series and he intrigued me. He was there but we didn't know much about him. Now we do we has a lot of my favorite qualities in a book boyfriend alpha, broken, a$$hole and a badboy changed by love (but not willingly.) What started as a hot as hell 2 week hookup took a turn neither saw coming. She embraced it and he pushed her away. I wanted to choke him!!! But I got it. I wanted this couple together but Yes she was way to good for him. I honestly didn't see the ending coming but it definitely left me with a smile!! I have recently started reading this author and so glad I did. Every book I gobble up. Every book has a steamy sexy story. Off to look for more Jenika Snow books!!
Stella's father has lost his way. He has become a addict. Drinking and gambling are his downfall. Stella is always saving him from one situation or another. Now Stella finds herself in a precarious situation. Her dad has lost her childhood home to Tate. Tate is described as a dangerous man with some underhanded dealings. Still, Stella can't help but be attracted to him. The make a deal where Stella must submit to Tate for 2 weeks. The both find themselves in a place where feelings get in the way. Stella is confused by her feelings and the way Tate behaves. Sometimes he is soft and sometimes he is a stone. Tate is uncomfortable with the way Stella makes him feel. He tries to keep those feelings deep undercover. When the deal is over they will have to decide if love is worth it all.

An entertaining and engaging storyline that will have you addicted from page one. It will include hot off the charts borderline kinky sex, blazing tempers, sass, dominant sexy male, and possession, that will leave you feeling great on this emotional roller coaster. Tate is a hard sexy dominant alpha. Stella is a strong sassy woman thats willing to do anything for the ones she loves. The story is fast paced and smooth flowing to a HEA that neither one if them saw coming. Tate gives Stella an ultimatium of 2 weeks of full submission to keep her child hood home and wipe the debt her drink gambling father has created. The little bit of angst and lots of hot smoking chemistry had me addicted to each page till the last word was read. I cant wait for more from this amazing author.

Style: Sports/Underground Boss Romance Story: 3/5 Sexual: SEX-CITINGLY GOOD Enjoyment: 4/5 Series: Book 3
I can’t complain about a simple good old fashion blackmail. Nothing special about the story line as we have read it time and again, however, I still very much enjoyed it. It was to the point, moved rather quickly but still kept my interest. Tate was commanding sexy and alpha. Stella was very young but balances out this relationship as not being too weak but give enough of it to enjoy this book.
Overall, sexually appealing, quick read and enjoyable. I did not read books in order in the series as I really wanted to read this story first.
***I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s definitely about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the stories you read. I hope this review was helpful.
As much as I enjoyed this book, especially because Jenika's style of writing is so cool, I don't really like the Hero. He's an asshole and I think he's annoying. And the heroine too, she's too weak and the ending where she ends up falling for him? Awful.
3.5 stars. This something I didn't expected. It was a very interesting story, Tate was a gangster, but he had a side of him that was sweet. The Girly girl, was to shy for me.
A Deeply Dominating, Yet Pure Tale of Letting Love In...
"Deeper" by Jenika Snow is the third and final book in her "The Underground" trilogy. And while it is another delicious, bad boy alpha led tale, full of caveman-esque grit, emotionally traumatic challenges, and thought provoking situations. It is not nearly as violent as the first two installments. However, despite the tamer minute-to-minute setting of this one, it remains overall, another soul cracking and poignant tale of finding love after a lifetime of darkness.
As with the others in this series, "Deeper" is darker in theme and subject matter. The story of Tate, the well known, shady business mogul, owner of the infamous Rabbit Hole nightclub, and self-appointed king of the underground. A man far more sinister than Kash and Adrian before him; he is instead ruthless and domineering, a nature befitting his "kingpin" persona. A kingpin who takes full advantage of a situation he instigates with the father of 22 year old young woman, Stella. A woman struggling to keep herself and her alcoholic father safe, sound, and moving forward in life.
What follows is a story of how things, even truly despicable things, are not always as they appear. It is a story that will incite as much anger from you as it does heartbreak. A story in which Stella, despite the circumstances she finds herself in at the hands of Tate, sees past his cold, calculating, and manipulating exterior, and witnesses a man far more vulnerable.
It is another moving and truthful portrayal by Snow of how one's soul can be battered beyond recognition by the tolls taken by violence, abuse, and loss. And how, at times, it takes the strength of another, to look past one's own misery and begin to take steps forward toward a happier, more authentic existence. An existence that also includes love and happiness instead of just surviving.
And despite finding myself frustrated at the leap in pacing two-thirds of the way through. Where it went from methodically pacing the course of Tate and Stella's two weeks together. To jumping past eight days after a single conversation... A scene that not only perplexed me, but altered the remainder of the story in such a way that the rest felt rushed and haphazard compared to the slow burn of the first nineteen chapters. I still found myself absorbed in the swirling emotional madness lovingly displayed on each and every page.
As I have already said after the first two installments of this trilogy. I am truly in love with this darker, more sinister yet introspective version of Jenika Snow. I have always loved her storytelling, she is a master of the over-the-top, alpha, bad boy. But here there is a much deeper level. The characters are far more emotionally intelligent. The story landscape far grittier and truthfully portrayed. And while I will always adore her sexy as sin shifters, and novella insta-everythings. This series, these books have brought my love and respect for her literary craft up a hundredfold. Another must read book (and must read series), from a must read author in my opinion!
Deeper is book three in the Underground series. This is Tate's story. Stella is a pawn in a game her father has lost. Her father has gambled away 25,000 dollars, but he agreed to have his daughter Stella work off the loan to Tate. He has had his eye on her for some time now and he wants her. A deal is made, two weeks and then his loan is complete. All he wants is her complete submission, but Stella is not anyone's pawn. The trouble is her body doesn't see it like that. Her body wants him, bad. Let the games begin.
Did I enjoy it? Yes. But it could have been a 5. The sex was filthy and hot, no complaints there. The story had great potential but sort of fell flat overall. There was more inner dialogue than conversations between the characters. The timeline was jerky too and it didn't help that it would fell like more time had elapsed then actually had. The characters, while not unlikable were inconsistent. Again more conversation and evolution of their feelings and the relationship would have boosted my rating.
Stella is a weak sub. She says she’s a strong independent woman, LOL! No!
Tate is a bad guy/dom, with good-guy undertones. Needs to be voiced by a male. Elizabeth’s voice is too soft and not distinct enough to make you forget it’s a female voice.
Miles is the gentle wonderful fatherly type, That they love and both need.
Story inconsequential. Kinky sex is abundant. HEA had by all. Do not read if your looking for something deeper it’s not here.
