If I thought part one of the Smoky Mountain Trio was hot......then this part was on fire!! And after reading Reckless Abandon, I just cannot get enough of Cam, Sage, and London. The love between these three characters is just so beautiful to witness and I want more of it. Even through all the time spent apart and holding onto the anger of the past, the connection between all of them when they are together will never, ever go away. I cannot wait for part three, which I'm sure will be an epic conclusion to this story!!

After reading Reckless Youth, I had no idea what Sierra Hill had up her sleeve or even how sexy Cam, Sage and London would get ten years down the road. My oh my! I cannot get enough of the three of them!
Reckless Abandon is the continuation of their journey as friends ten years down the line and goes back to where Reckless Youth left off so you can see why the trio is where they are now. The years have not been kind to any of them and even after all the years apart, their connection is epic! Once again, Sierra set my Kindle on fire! I’m excited to see what part three will bring us!

LOVED!!!!
This second book in the series is told in Cam’s POV. I loved the back and forth between past and present. The past picks up where book #1 left off. And the present, which is ten years later...well, where it started just about broke my heart.
I met and fell for Cam, London, and Sage in book 1...and I fell even harder in this one. OMGoodness, the feels!!!
I adored the three of them and their connection. Their love never waned, no matter what. It was put to the test quite a few times and they overcame any obstacles life threw at them every single time. Their love for each other was its own character. It was full of strength and so much passion.
To see this trio years later, seeing what they’ve been through, watching their love grow even stronger made me never want to put this down. It was packed full of emotion and I loved every word.
The third and final book is Sage’s POV. Can’t. Wait.

I’m even more in love with these characters..
This covers the time period where the first book left off and into the present time 10 years later.
The only negative is I wanted more!
The way the first two end is definitely great cliffhanger material!! Wow!!
I adore the characters and the writing. It’s a very original combination of very endearing childhood sweethearts and sexy and hot MMF.
The combination is great!!!
We definitely discover more about Cam in this book and I like him much more than I did in the first book.
I still adore Sage so very much.
London is still sweet, caring and naughty.

The connection between Cam, London, and Sage is as strong as ever. Life hasnt been easy for them. Mistakes have been made. Hearts have been broken. But book two brings the three together once again. The ending left me hanging though!! I can't wait for book three!

Reckless Abandon is the second book in the Smoky Mountain Trio. The first book, Reckless Youth, was told from London's Point of view. This story is told from Cam's POV and basically takes place nearly 10 years later with flashbacks to the events that were left untold at the end of the first book. I don't recommend reading this as a standalone. Hot? Oh my heck...yes...very much so. Cam feels guilt deeply, probably because of his strict upbringing. We saw that with the first book. He moves on to live his life as he feels he should but the past keeps coming back to haunt him and he must finally face his truths. It was both painful and hopeful and super stimulating if you know what I mean. Give me book 3 now because I can't wait to see everything from the complicated Sage's point of view.

Sage:
Sage is not who he was in Book 1. Fame, prison and abandonment by his closest friends have left him bitter and hollow. He uses drugs to escape, but deep down Sage still has the capacity to love bigger and bolder than anyone. He accepts others who are different than him and never makes anyone feel less-than. Cam and London have to pull out all the stops to turn him around and uncover the Sage that is hiding underneath layers of hurt.
Cam:
Cam views himself as a coward and is riddled with guilt. Looking back, he regrets the decisions he made and the ripple effect of those decisions. He's lost his sister and father to death, lost comrades in battle, lost his best friends because he abandoned them and failed at his marriage. And now he has lost his will to live.
"I’m nothing but a shell of a man, hiding behind a made-up heroic façade.”
"In a blink of an eye, the last ten years appear, at first bright and bold and then clouded with the black stain of death, regret, and guilt.”
He has moved on from the military and is now a smokejumper. He has to work through feelings and guilt to get to a place where he wants to live. Not only for his sweet son Taylor, but also for London and Sage.
London:
London is as stubborn as ever and not willing to give up on her two guys. Because of something that happened 10 years ago, there is tension and anger between the two guys and she is the glue that keeps them together.
Together:
Cam is finally able to let go of his inhibitions and his ideas of what love should look like and just give in to his desires. This opens him up to really experience the love the 3 of them have for each other with no barriers or guilt weighing on him.
Overall:
The story moves between present and the events that happened 10 years ago with ease. It’s hard to see how the trio has drifted apart, but there is hope that they will find future happiness together.....until the cliffhanger. Oh boy. Can’t wait to start the final book.

OMFG!! WHY?! Sierra Hill you Are KILLING Me!! But in Freakn Delicious Wicked Way!!! RECKLESS ABANDON kinda picks up where Reckless Youth left off but about 10 years later in Cameron POV. He takes you back from the first Cliffhanger and pulls you in from their turmoil throughout their lives. This Book deals with regrets, forgiveness, compassion and Love.
Cameron, London and Sage reunite in this 2nd part book but unfortunately under different circumstances that has London worry about Sage. Cameron is dealing with his own Demons of his life decisions that will have you Gasping in the VERY FIRST CHAPTER ALONE!!
The MINTUE I started Reading, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN to where I Devoured it in a few hours!! Now I'm left with another bomb shell of a Cliffhanger!!
There will be No Spoilers because this Book is Beautifully written like the first one, No Exceptions!! You will have an Emotional Rollercoaster Ride that will have you intrigued and leave you Speechless!!
Sierra Hill you better hurry on book #3 since I read this book in One Sitting & NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Running away, even though I concealed it through boot camp and later my tour overseas and time in Italy, was just a coward move.
I left him when he needed me the most. I could’ve been there through letters and visits when I came home during my leaves.
I could’ve answered his calls. I could’ve apologized for my reckless abandonment of him.
But I didn’t.

These three are killing me! Like screaming into an empty room 'GET OUT OF YOUR OWN DAMN WAY!' Against my better judgment I started this series, (I just know myself, and I SUCK at cliffhangers, alot of times I just flat out forget what happens so I'm lost. Its a failure on my part, I can totally see why authors do it and I can totally see that some series, like this one, actually NEED it, but I do usually prefer to wait until all the books in the series are out) but this book, the characters are so memorable I figured I'm highly more likely to remember it since its really unique. I love all three of them, really well defined characters with just so much angst! And I love the story lines going on as sort of the back drop. The intricacies of their relationships with the world around them, how they can fit in and adapt with 'normal' society with their decidedly abnormal relationship with each other. On the one hand their love for each other feels so real and pure, but on the other hand its so dirty and hot lol! The twists and turns, its killing me! I can't wait for Sage's side of the story maybe more about how he endured his time in jail and some tour stories? He's also the most emotional of the three, so I bet his story will be insightful and I can't wait to read it!

Holy Wow!! I feel like I just literally devoured Reckless Abandon and it left me absolutely breathless!!! Cam, Sage & London oh my! I am emotionally drained from this amazing story and I just can’t get enough! I had moments where I felt shocked, angry, devastated and blissful but most of all I just feel like this is such an epic story and I can hardly wait to see how it all wraps up in Book 3. Theirs is a friendship and love for the ages. I wish we could follow these 3 amazing characters for their entire lives because 25 years isn’t going to be enough! Sierra Hill ‘s writing is absolutely fantastic! You will feel everything Cam, Sage and London feel. Stunning!!

I had been anticipating what would become of Can, London and Sage after the shocking ending of Reckless Youth. This book had me so caught up from the first page! The emotions were raw and I was feeling so much! I couldn’t believe all the way things hand changes over the course of 10 years. Their reunion was hot as heck. I was sad about Lisa ! I can tell we don’t like her. Haha. The ending had me drawn in again! What’s next for them! I was on the edge of my seat!

Absolutely blew me away, but the cliffhanger is a heart stopper. I loved this book even more than the first so I'm sure the third will leave me breathless.
These three fit together perfectly and only seem to be fully functioning when part of their triad. Separately they are lost.

My heart!!! Not sure how much more I can take! RECKLESS ABANDON is book 2 in the series and is told from Cams POV, which I LOVED!!!
We are 10 years down the line and so many things have happened between these 3 best friends. The chemistry is still sizzling and I just adore the relationship between them.
Once again, there is an epic cliffhanger!!

Have you ever anticipated a book so bad you just couldn’t wait to dive in? Well I dove in alright, more like devoured!! It was everything I knew it would be!! Sierra just sucks you in and leaves you gasping!! Fantastic book!! I desperately need the next one!! What a hangover it’s left!!

I’ve read several of Sierra Hills books... her Sweet series (an adorable country-feel romance) and Character Flaws (her romcom which was everything I wanted in a romantic comedy). However, this series has stuck its hooks right into me... I loved Reckless Youth, like loved the hell right out of it so much that I’ve recommend it to anyone who is open to ménage-type stories. Reckless Abandon hit a higher mark for me. This book was incredibly hot! I mean, am I in a sauna kind of hot?! Holy hell Sierra Hill! You pulled out the major heat in this middle book.
The way Reckless Abandon was written is so perfect to match up with Reckless Youth. I enjoyed being inside Cam’s head so much!! Getting a look at the now, 10 years after London’s story. Yet, Cam gives us flash backs that coincide with some of London’s story. This really gives these books a deeper dimension. It helps that the story itself is so creative and unique. London, Cam, and Sage aren’t just bringing the heat; they have brought this deeply-rooted friendship that’s been solidified over the years. Time and distance hasn’t done a thing but to lessen what these three have together.
These characters are so memorable, so different that I fell for them instantly. Mrs. Hill created a really fun and different way to tell a story. I could really feel the friendship and love between these characters. They might be struggling to let go of their anger, their problems but what real person doesn’t struggle. Hill just made them feel more real. A love like this isn’t the norm, it isn’t usual. They just need to figure out if swimming against the current is what they want to do, if they can even fight it. Two’s company and three’s a crowd may be a really popular saying but it does not apply to this trio at all. These three work and I can’t handle that ending... that cliffhanger made me wanna toss my kindle! Not good since I really need this last book. I feel like I’ve been wearing a hole in the floor waiting for book 3, Reckless Hearts, and Sage’s side of the story.

"Reckless Abandon" is the second book in The Smoky Mountain trilogy by Sierra Hill. The first book, "Reckless Youth", introduced us to the characters of: London, Cam, and Sage. A trio of High School friends exploring their love for one another, and grappling with the fact that their relationship is nontraditional (MFM).
"Reckless Abandon" takes place several years after the end of the first book and switches from London's point of view to Cams. Taking place 10 years in the future, after the shocking cliffhanger of the first book, we realize how far this trio has drifted a part. Sierra Hill uses flashbacks brilliantly throughout this book to fill in what has happened over the last 10 years to cause these friends and lovers to drift apart.
After reading the first book I was anxiously awaiting this book! Sierra Hill does not disappoint as she explores the forbidden menage trois between Cam, London and Sage. The first book left us wondering if Cam would be able to open his heart to Sage or if his personal biases would forever taint the relationship. In this book we hear from Cam and watch him explore his sexuality and push the boundaries of what he is comfortable with.
This book is sexy, suspenseful, and painful. It brings the reader to their knees as they feel the pain these three friends go through and explores their road back to one another as adults. For fans of nontraditional romance that sucks you in and spins you around, this book is for you!

When we left off part one, the Prom Night Cliffie left me in shock no doubt (sorry no spoilers in case you haven’t read part 1 yet). I had all kinds of assumptions going through my head as to what was going to happen in part 2. May I just say that the author went way above my thoughts and expectations for part 2. Just WOW. Kudo’s Ms. Hill for a job well done.
Part 2 of the events are told from Cam’s point of view. We catch up with Cam 10 years down the road from that fateful Prom Night. We not only learn the path his life has taken since then, but we learn the tragic events of that night and the destructive few weeks after Prom Night from Cam’s recollection. Events that changed the path of these 3 inseparable friends/lovers. But as often happens, when love develops at such a young age (high school), those involved are not yet fully equipped to deal with such strong emotions, especially when they are all tied up with tragedy as happened with Cam, Sage and London on Prom Night and the following few weeks.
Part 2 is very emotional. We deal with tragedy, separation, sexual understandings, heartbreak and so much more. The author will take you on a wonderful journey as these three kids grow into adults on very different paths yet still tethered. Part 1 and 2 have been fantastic reads and this reader can’t wait for part 3 as I assume it will be told from Sage’s point of view and I look for it to be simply amazing. 5 Wonderful Stars and 2 Huge Thumbs Up.

But as often happens, when love develops at such a young age (high school), those involved are not yet fully equipped to deal with such strong emotions, especially when they are all tied up with tragedy as happened with Cam, Sage and London on Prom Night and the following few weeks.
Part 2 is very emotional. We deal with tragedy, separation, sexual understandings, heartbreak and so much more. The author will take you on a wonderful journey as these three kids grow into adults on very different paths yet still tethered. Part 1 and 2 have been fantastic reads and this reader can’t wait for part 3 as I assume it will be told from Sage’s point of view and I look for it to be simply amazing. 5 Wonderful Stars and 2 Huge Thumbs Up.

This book is heartbreaking, hopeful, and passion filled. London, Cam and Sage have an eternal love and an unbreakable bond that has held together even though they have been apart. Love lasts forever when it has always been in your heart. The events that took place after prom night drastically changed the relationship of Cam, London, and Sage. Ten years later, the trio are finally brought back together when Cam returns home and sees London for the first time. He knows this is his redemption, a second chance to make things right with the two people he hurt and abandoned. Looking back on his life, he acknowledges the terrible decisions he made throughout the years and the many regrets that still haunt him, including the guilt and shame he feels with Sage. What will happen when he finally sees Sage?
This book is Cam’s POV. It explains what happened during prom night and the actions that took place cutting off all ties with London and Sage. WOW. Just WOW. I have been anxiously awaiting book two in The Smoky Mountain Trio and Reckless Abandon did not disappoint. Told from Cameron's point of view, the opening scene finds Cameron, sitting on the dock of his parent's home, gun in hand, contemplating his life and praying for it to end. Alternating between present day and ten years earlier, Sierra Hill, continues the story of Cameron, London and Sage. Three friends drown together by an other worldly connection, but torn apart by circumstances and rash decisions. Ten years later, can they heal the hurts of the past and acknowledge that what they all want most in the world is each other? Reckless Abandon further explores the relationship between these friends and lovers. Cam, Sage and London are reunited after ten years of hurt and seperation and there is still attraction and love there but also a whole lot of pain and regret.
Sage did his time for the crime of killing his father. He is now a successful musician making stupid mistakes and hurting those who love him. Cam is divorcing the wife he never should have married anyway, except then he wouldn't have his adorable son. And London is still hoping she can have both of her men and they could have each other. They have their work cut out for them, making amends for the past if they are going to have a future.
This is such an amazing story. I feel the hurts of the characters and root for them to find their way. They each have their demons to fight but if they would come together they would find something so powerful. This ends in a cliffhanger and I really can not wait to see what is in store for these three.

Reckless Abandon, book 2 in Sierra Hill's Reckless series is fantastic!
Catching up with these three people ten years later, we learn that all three are lost. Cam is trying to overcome his awful marriage, and regrets everything he said to Sage all those years ago. Sage is drowning without Cam. His only stable force is that of London. But, despite the fact that the love each other, it just isn't enough. He's willing to settle for life with just London, but London won't allow this to happen.
Cam needs London to help show Sage that he's loved. And luckily Cam returns to help him.
Even as a reader, I felt the grief and guilt that they never gave into their feelings. And the love! The deep rooted love between Cam, Sage and London jumps off the page. These three people so clearly belong together and will never find happiness if they aren't all together.
Reckless Abandon is everything I was hoping it would be. Sierra Hill's writing left me breathless and emotionally drained. And now I am anxiously awaiting the final book in this spectacular series!!!

Oh lord ten years later and these three are just now starting to finally get it together! They have been through so much either together or separately. It’s heartbreaking to read how much pain they have all endured, either because of being hurt by one another or confused as to what they were truly feeling. This is the second book in the Reckless series, and there really isn’t much mention of any other characters in this story. This one is bouncing back and forth between present day and what happened to the three of them ten years ago as Sage was facing the biggest fear of his life. Sage was getting ready to serve prison time, Cam was leaving for the military and London was leaving for school...three different lives, three unspoken promises and one very powerful love that will not easily be forgotten....

I’m loving this trilogy. Book 2 in the Reckless trilogy is. Well. It’s lots of stuff. All awesome.
Picks up kinda where Youth left off.
PS: this is book 2. Read book 1 first.
Book 3 comes out 10/23.
This book flashes forward and backwards 10 years at a time. So. From the ending of youth, it’ll flash forward 10 years then back to the time at the end of youth.
It also ends on another cliffhanger.
Cam, London, Sage...
Still these 3. They lose some ground in the between years. But their love for each other is strong.
Super hot moments in here. Smoking hot.
Heart wrenching story. Told from Cam’s perspective.
I highly recommend.

Un second tome un peu mieux que le tome 1 parce qu'on est du POV de Cam et que 10 ans se sont écoulés ... Cependant il reste quand même pas mal de défauts.
On passe du MF au MFM puis au MMF sans avoir l'étape MM ? Mais pourquoi ?
Ce qui fait que la relation MMF est mal construite mais également mal équilibrée.
En fait j'ai eu l'impression d'avoir manquer une étape dans leur relation.
De plus Sage a été agacant et London ... reste London .... je n'ai pas compris pourquoi c'est elle qui est a l'initiative du rapprochement Cam/Sage.
Cependant, l'histoire est toujours aussi addictive et fluide.

This book was on fire!!! Holy hotness! After reading Reckless Youth ( book 1 ), I wasn't sure how Sierra Hill would top it. But OMG did she ever!!! This book takes place 10 years after book 1 ends, and is told in Cam's P.O.V. Who knew that these three would get even more hotter, that their story's would be more heartbreaking, but also much more beautiful!!! The love these three have for each other only intensified, grew, and blossomed. My heart broke for all 3 , then was put back together, only to be stilled again at the ending. I can NOT wait for book 3!!!! This series is a MUST READ!!!
