It's outside of my usual genre, but I couldn't resist buying this book. It's a short sweet read about Gianna, she left an abusive marriage. Can she find love again? Is she even worth having love? Read this book to find out!
OMG Cabo is the fourth and final novella in the FYI series. It can be enjoyed as a stand-alone book but it has all the couple's from previous books in the series at the wedding of Jillian and Jaques (book 1). Narrated by Courtney Holly who does an excellent job with emotional depth and a wide range of character voices.
Gianna (Gia) just left an abusive husband in Venice and is struggling with self-worth and trust issues because of him. She moves to Cabo where she gets a job working for Laurato. He is charming and warm and his flirting gets her to give in (after a short struggle) to an affair. They have lots of chemistry and Laurato is all a woman could want in a boyfriend and lover, but Gia ends the affair. She is afraid for her new life, freedom and job and feels undeserving of all Laurato has to offer her. Laurato is willing to fight for his relationship with Gia. When all Gia's friends and family come to Cabo for Jillian and Jaques wedding, Laurato makes his move. Will Gia give in to what she really wants too or will she brush it off as all the emotions from a wedding?
Gianna & Laurato💘 Great story, Great Audible Listen🎧 4.5 Fabulous Stars! 🌟🌟 🌟🌟🌟
OMG Cabo The FYI <3 Series, Book 4
By: Elaine Marie Narrated by: Courtney Holly
The fabulous FYI<3 series continues in Cabo and Elaine Marie does not disappoint, the storylines continue to be great. This is Gianna’s story, she moved to Cabo after a bad marriage. She has insecurities and self worth issues which prevents her from wanting a long term relationship. Laurato, her boss is just the man to show her her worth and save her. It was great seeing the characters from the 1st three books again. Thank you for another great story.
I listened to the audible edition, Courtney Holly does a great job narrating. She performs the voices of all the characters, switches vocals effortlessly and tells the story in a perfect flow with he right amount of dramatic flair. Thank you for a great listen!

This book had a good story line but honestly I didn't like the narration for this book as much as I wanted to. However, I really enjoyed the story. I still recommend this book because it was very good book.
Gianna feels unworthy of being loved after leaving an abusive relationship. She flees to Cabo where she focuses on a new job and briefly the boss, Lor. Pushing him away, she becomes an amazing employee and plans events for the resort. When her family and friends come for a destination wedding, Gianna plans everything and unknowingly Lor attends the celebration. Broken by her past she runs but Lor is determined to make her his forever. The story has appearances of other characters from past novellas and ends in an HEA. The characters are engaging and the emotions believable. I listened to this book on Audible and enjoyed the narration of Courtney Holly. My only problem with the story is it ended too quickly. I have listened to several books by Elaine Marie and enjoy her stories very much.
Cabo is the 4th in the FYI<3 series and we get to see Gianna as she slowly creeps into her new life. We knew she was in a bad marriage, but in this short, we get her story of what happened. But the bad does not stop her from having feelings for her boss. Laurato too is attracted to Gianna, but she is his employee! Can these two find their happily ever after? As we watch Jillian and Jacques get married with all of our friends from the first three books in the series, we get to enjoy Gianna and Laurato's chance at finding their own happiness. Courtney Holly is a great pick for this new adult story, giving a fresh, young feel to it and making you want to get to Cabo! OMG!
OMG Cabo is the fourth book in the FYI <3 series, and a super sweet treat as all the couples gather together to celebrate Jillian’s and Jacque’s wedding. The main focus, though, is on Gianna and her inner struggle dealing with her past relationship and taking a chance on an office romance with her boss. I love this author’s writing style and how much story she fits into a short novella, although with Gianna’s story I wish there was a little more development because it left me wanting more. All in all, a great quick read/listen and the narrator, Courtney Holly, did a great job voicing this amazing cast of characters.
OMG Cabo is the story of Gianna who works for Laurato, but Laur wants her to consider exploring a more intimate type of relationship. I enjoyed listening to his attempts to get her to give into him, and they definitely had some great chemistry. Laurato had a flirty, alpha presence that Gianna really seemed to need in her life given some of her insecurities given her past relationships.
I found the narrator really easy to listen to, and although this audibook was short as it was only a novella, it was still very enjoyable to listen to. I would definitely be interested in listening to, or reading other books by this author.
I listened to the audible version. This was my favorite narrator out of all 4 books in this series. Courtney Holly maintained the quick pace of the prior narrators, but she added more emotion and different voices so that I could tell the main characters voices apart from other male and female characters. I would like to give the performance 4.5 stars.
Characters initially getting together is my favorite part of a larger book, so I enjoyed this short story about the start of Gianna and Laurato's official relationship. I would recommend this story to listeners looking for a quick HFN.
Gianno left Italy because of an abusive marriage. She ended up working in Cabo. There she meetS Laurato, her boss. They have a short affair, but with her distrust and insecurities, she decide to cut off their relationship . Gia feels she doesnt deserve happiness and finding love again. Laurato wants to show her that he can be that man to take care of her. This is a cute short story. I wish was longer. Elaine Marie narration is excellent and gives all characters their own voice and personality. 🎧audiobookobsessionreview🎧
Omg Cabo was the fourth book in the FYI series and it was a super short but entertaining read.
I do wish that there had been more time to get to know the main characters and form a better connection with them, but I was really impressed with how well Elaine Marie did with this one.
I especially liked the leading man Laurato. He was sweet and patient and just really nicely done.
Another thing I enjoyed was the performance. I really liked the narrator's voice. She was very animated in a good way. It made her interesting to listen to.
This was such a good story. It's a story about finding redemption in yourself. It's about the power of love. My heart went out to Gianna. We knew she was in a bad marriage but in this story we really get to know her and she didn't deserve that. I loved Laurato. I love a man that loves a women despite her flaws. Gianna's are her own mind and self doubt. This was great short love story. And fans of the series will be excited for a wedding from past favorite characters. This narrator was the perfect voice for Gianna. I felt like she understood her. A must read/listen for all romance fans.
Audio book review This is my third listen from the author. Elaine knows how to draw the listener in . This was a short novella, that you will be rooting for the Hero but more important the heroine. Heroine is Gianna who escapes an abusing marriage. She escapes to Cabo where she meets Lauranto . One thing leads to another and Gianna is wondering if she deserves love. Grab it and see The narrator Courtney was good , her voice is smooth and clear .
Great short story I liked it I did. But I felt it would have been a lot better had Gianna not known or hooked up with Laur before we knew about him. The story got really good and then bam....she had already slept with him and lived with him before. Now they were just dancing around one another. Again, it was good but i felt like a previous history wasn't really needed. The narration was great and easy to listen to.
This is the fourth book in the FYI <3 Series. This Series of short stories is great! This time, this is an office romance novella. Laurato and Gianna's story is sweet, very fast-paced, with an instant attraction and a happy ending. Courtney Holly has a great voice, that suits this story. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.
Gianna has left her abusive husband and moved to Cabo. She has a relationship with her boss and ends it, but he is not ready for it to be over. Can Gianna see that she deserves happiness and trust I what she feels. Good quick story.
I loved this book Gianna had come out of a real bad marriage. So she was afraid to let anyone get close to her. She didn't want to be hurt again. But little did she now was the one that really loved her was right in front of her.
A super short listen for when you don’t have much time. This one doesn’t have as much detail as the previous three in this series but was still very fun to listen to. Definitely will be looking for more from the author.
Fourth story in the FYI series with two stories in one, a new romance and a beautiful wedding in Cabo no less. Would love to know what happens with Gianna and Laurato? Enjoyed Courtney Holly’s narration.
I received this book for free for a honest review. this was a quick little love story. the author did a great job of keeping me interested and the story line together. the author did an excellent job of bringing the characters to life.
I'm so happy Gianna got a story! After learning about her ex in the last book, we all knew she deserved some happiness. Along with our favorites from the first three books, we get to know Gianna better and her special someone. This might be short but it will fill your heart with joy.
Another good book in the series and we get to see Gianna as she slowly creeps into her new life. We knew she was in a bad marriage, but in this short, we get her story of what happened.
This is as a great ending to the series! Gianna is starting her life over in Cabo after an abusive marriage- she has trust issues and lacks self confidence. She finds herself falling for her new boss, Laurato, but quickly cuts its off because she thinks she’s undeserving of happiness and love. Once there’s a wedding for Jillian and Jacques, romance is in the air all around her and she’s not sure what to do about her and Laurato. I really loved that the whole cast from the series came together in the finale! Even though this was supposed to focus on Gianna and Laurato, I feel like it was still focused on Jillian and Jacques since they were getting married. I liked Laurato’s alpha male personality, but that he was protective and trying to show Gianna that she deserved to life her life and find love with him. Courtney did a really good job with this narration! I liked how well she could portray Gianna’s emotions and insecurities and the easy sound of her voice. @AudiobookObsession *I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
So good. The writing skill of Elaine is great. Some tough subject matters. I definitely need more. Great narration from Courtney. #audiobookobsessionreviewer
