Wow,...fantastic issue! Probably my favorite issue of Black Hammer so far, as we finally learn the details of what really happened to the heroes after the battle with The Anti-God. Love this series!

C'è tanto da mettere insieme questo mese per quanto riguarda Black Hammer. La fattoria è stata smascherata. Il segreto che tanto a lungo ha spinto gli eroi di Spiral City è stato finalmente svelato. Non si può non vedere un filo conduttore con quello che Alan Moore aveva pensato per il suo Miracleman. Tuttavia lo scopo ultimo che Lemire da a questa farsa è diverso. Più esistenziale se vogliamo e certamente non ha l'intento demolitore di Moore. Tra l'altro nel portare avanti questa idea anche i suoi personaggi reagiscono in maniera decisamente diversa rispetto a quelli del mago di Northampton. E' un paragone forte quello che faccio, ne sono ben consapevole e non lo faccio a cuor leggero. Quello che penso però è che Jeff Lemire sia uno dei pochi (fatte alcune dovute eccezioni) che abbia ancora effettivamente qualcosa da dire sul genere supereroistico. Ebbene il mistero è svelato ma l'avventura dei nostri eroi non finisce certo qui perché il Colonnello pare aver messo in moto altri eventi che potrebbero rivelare altre sorprese. Staremo a vedere il prossimo mese.
